And yes, mostly because she actually LOOKS like The Morrigan and has a matching attitude. Also, I dont think people would be able to pronounce Brigid. They're already calling her "Morgan" because they can't read the "i". |

But Morrigan was known for black war dogs as well as crows and ravens, so in that respect, it fits quite well.
