Seems she'd be taking it easy on the construction for a bit, her limbs feeling strained and tired. She definitely needed to do more stretches. It started slipping her mind for a while there, which wasn't good at all. She should be more on top of this, she knows better. Her mood on the downswing, she kept largely to herself as she spent work time at the lusus quarters today passing tools and keeping the work space clear.

Maybe she just needed some time to recenter herself. She'd rather be functional still as she pushed past the uncharitable mood that was brewing in response to realizing her mistake during her time working on the Greenhouse. Without a second thought, she threw herself into her chores and buried her thoughts in a low trance beat from her headphones.

Tsarzi found herself having to retire early from her road shift after a fumble with machinery resulted in an orangeblood getting a bit of an ugly gash on the arm. Tsarzi was close by and one of the first to get to her and put pressure on the wound and wound up being one of the two to show her back to the main camp where she could get medical attention. Tsarzi would be more irritated by getting so little done, but she knew she was feeling a bit distracted and it was probably better to work through the funk while cleaning her clothes and hands then working with machinery and cement.

The distracted trend seemed to continue as Tsarzi idly put out feed for the animals. There was a bit of tension starting to run under her skin, disliking how little she was getting done, but her energy levels felt low. It was obnoxious to be sure, but she'd just have to take it easy for a bit.

When next Tsarzi came by to help construction, most of the stray and less industrious lusii had cleared out. It was largely teens and adults working, which lent itself to a bit more efficiency. They had a good work flow going and a few were reluctant to let this blueblood child in and possibly find progress derailed, but pleasantly enough, she took to the work easily and without fuss.

In direct contrast to the progress made on the lusus quarters, coming by to help take care of the livestock was a mess and a half.
Someone had left a fence open and the animals had gotten into the feed and knocked tools and shelves down when they began scuffling in the shed where it all was kept. Tsarzi's eyebrows furrowed in mild irritation as she set to ushering the creatures out and back to their pens, but it took some time. Still, she was reluctant to leave the beasts unattended to make even more of a mess and was only able to get help when a few trolls passed nearby and she called them over.

The construction being started today was more dangerous and labor intensive, which Tsarzi could say she was looking forward to after the on and off slump the past few shifts. She was stopped from joining the work by a rather self important teenager who saw it as their duty to protect this blueblooded child from work that was far to much for them. Tsarzi stared her opponent down for a few seconds, determining that yes, this troll was serious. Her eyebrows furrowed slightly, the edges of her lips twitched down.

That would not do at all.

Tsarzi ended up in a rather lengthy argument with the teen about work appropriate for a troll her age and size. How the teen had no business interfering and how they were wasting time. The ten rebutted with Tsarzi was wasting time by presenting a danger in the workplace. The argument raged on for quite a while until both were asked to remove themselves as their chat was very disruptive.

No one by the livestock tried to stand in Tsarzi's way of doing her work and she was able to channel her energy into taking care of the animals. They seemed rather agreeable today too and let her herd them easily.

Tsarzi, once again, found herself in line for supplies, eking a sigh through her nose as she waited. She shifted her weight, staring a hole through the back of the head of the troll in front of her. By the time she got in to get the supplies, things were running low. Of course they were.

Tsarzi spent her shift collecting eggs and helping collect fresh produce from the animals. It was a change of pace, but she took to the work well. It helped settle her that she was able to get more work done here compared to the progress made on other projects today, and the new tasks were a welcome change of pace.

Building construction was coming along nicely, but the roads could use some attention. Shifting gears, Tsarzi headed over to the roadwork to start putting down markers. The older trolls were quite adamant about not letting the children run the heavy machinery, but Tsarzi still watched closely and listened. It would be a useful tidbit of information to know and luckily there was enough to organize and help with nearby for her to overhear.

Of course, just because construction was going strong didn't mean there wasn't still bits of touching up that needed done. Tsarzi did her part, but she was more conscious of her tired body and took her leave when things began to ache a little too much.

For Settlement Beautification:

Panili and the crew had discussed long and hard about Chiara's assistance in the settlement. On one hand, her character was under question. On the other, she was volunteering her time enough to complete a significant portion of settlement beautification. It was only fair to give her some representation on the mural.

Panili elects to go and break the news. She bounds up to you. "Hey, Chiara! You've done some great work in the settlement, and we'd like to snazz up a part of the large facing walls. Do you have any ideas for what we should paint on it?"

Shenso calls you over, or rather waves his arms at you until you notice him. He gives you a nod and a thumbs up, and points to a spot in the soft hay where an egg has been laid.

Seems like you've got an extra task/little friend to keep a close eye on!

Thanks to the hard work of the community, the Greenhouse has been constructed!

"Tsarzi! Tsarzi!" Panili waved as she hustled towards the troll working diligently as ever on the settlement. "Boy, am I glad to see you. We just wrapped up work on the greenhouse! Come look!" She grabbed the hand of the blueblood in front of her and ushered her across the settlement, excitedly humming and chattering all the way.

The Greenhouse is a huge, beautiful glass enclosure with regulated temperature and lighting scenarios for any climate. It's sectioned off into two vast eco-buildings, with two niche buildings for unique plants in between. The design is a mix of architectural and organic, and the overall smell and atmosphere is dreamlike - very fresh. It's a well needed breath of fresh air after a hard night's work! Exotic plants from all parts of Alternia can be housed here, as well as important crop for sustainable living.

The Lightseekers' produce intake has improved dramatically, with more consistency and reliability in growing crops sweep-round! In addition, sun-shades will allow for greater growth during the harsh daylight hours, and may encourage production of exciting and unique new buds and species. Crops for food as well as medicinal purposes can now be harvested! If your troll has an ailment, a question about any kind of flora or needs a specific plant to spice up their life, they're likely to find it here.

Tsarzi was helping direct the workflow over by what would eventually be the lusus quarters when finished when Panilia found her.
With the foundation all layed out and base structure built, they were moving into the second half of the construction and measurements were being double checked as paneling and cables were set into place. The building was finally starting to take shape. Tsarzi's focus was starting to slip, she could feel herself growing tired of her task and knew she'd tap out soon, amking it of little consequence or bother when Panili showed up.

Admittedly, Tsarzi was not expecting Panili to hunt her down, but it wasn't a bother. She let herself get dragged along, filtering the excited nattering of the orangeblood. She didn't mind too much, though the tendency to express anything but purposeful and chosen thoughts allowed was an oddity to her.

She almost brought up that she had been there when construction finished and helped clear out supplies, but decided this would be an okay way to spend her break from work. She had yet to really sit back and appreciate the accomplishment, given how much still needed done. When they got there,
she took a moment to really look at it, satisfaction once more settling over here. It was a lot of hard work, but the payoff was rather incredible and a tremendous step forward to making the settlement self sufficient and functional.

"It is incredible," Tsarzi said, mulling over the functions of the building. "Who planned the architecture?" Panili would probably know, and Tsarzi, if she ever wanted to work on some construction projects, would know who to ask after for second opinions. Perhaps pick their brain fro some of this knowledge.
