The squirrel watched her carefully as she knelt down. It sniffed her hand before shoving the nut into her palm. It quickly turned around, going back to burrowing into the hole at the base of the tree. It paused for a second, beginning to yank on something before backing up and looking at her. It apparently needed a bit of help with something.

NYRA & XIA + HARPIES IN THE HUT

Both harpies were flying in places they shouldn't be. As soon as they got low enough, nets were flung on top of them. In the disorienting moment, bodies piled on top of them and bound them just enough to where they could walk, but couldn't get away.

Short, masked Pae then removed the netting and began to lead them through the jungle. It was a bit of a hike, but eventually they broke through and found themselves on the outskirts of a small village. The little huts were kinda tossed together with whatever the land provided. Little spears, masks, and other items were laying about the place as if they had been tossed aside in haste. Guess something has been going on around here.

They walked the whole length of the village before coming up to the largest hut in the area. They were led inside before unbound and quickly locked away. These critters were quick! The newest pair of harpies would be met with another group already having made themselves at home in the hut. Perhaps some they're familiar with from the trip.

It didn't take long for the masked Pae to return. This time it was just one and he had a large bowl of beautiful blue berries on it. They had a golden sheen to them when the sunlight filtering in would hit them. He set them down on a wooden box for them, gesturing to the group to have their fill.

As soon as he had entered, he left.

A strong breeze came up behind Lucius, as if spurring him on into the clearing and towards the totem pole. The branches around him swayed with it, but the pole stood straight and unwavering. Something about it was calling him near, calling him to investigate it further.

While he was trained on it, a pair of golden eyes were watching him from the edge. Soon others appeared with it. It appeared he was not alone.

The big piece of meaty hunkiness found his trip through the jungle to be a peaceful one. Birds sang and flitted from branch to branch after him as if joining in the journey. The breeze would run itself through his luscious locks and the branches did well to keep the hot sun out of his face.

After walking a decent amount there came a break in the trees to his right, but that would steer him off course! Would he dare such a thing? If he took a peek he'd see large boulders piling high on one another, with the most perfect perch right on top for looking out... or a stage for flexing most magnificently from!

Then again, he did have a decent path right in front of him. Did he really need to go in there?

Adora smiled brilliantly as the squirrel shoved the nut into her hand. What an intelligent little thing! She watched it scurry back into its hole to wrestle with an object. Something that appeared quite stuck.

Well that was something she could do to repay the squirrels kindness! "Oh, you need help? I am on it." She moved closer, each movement slow and deliberate as to not frighten the creature as she reached out to inside the little hole. Grabbing onto the object it was clawing at before, she gave a tug before a yank.

On land she was awkward, weak, and slow. But in the water she was her true self. Graceful and powerful, every movement coming to her with ease. She didn't know why Aysel preferred the land, but it was obvious which side of the coin she'd take.

With the flick of her tail she slipped next to Junior, cuddling up to him. "Oh? Tell me more about what is great." She teased back, looking up at the male adoringly.

He blushed a bit when she called herself lucky, when really he felt the other way around. "Maybe. I think my sap is rubbing off on you." It was funny how all this started because she thought he was a tree. Amazing how her blindness was both a blessing and a curse.

Would she still end up with him if she had sight? It was a moot point so he didn't dwell on it.

"So...this is what a hot spring is. Doesn't look very sexy or bouncy to me." BA DA TSH.

The angel stepped into the warm water first in order to offer a steadying hand for Dominique to get in. He was forever her guidance, and never thought twice about it.

She was probably right. Still, the overall air and what Serenity said gave him a bad feeling in his stomach.

Was that an arrow? Maybe one of these kids were drawing in the ground beforehand. With a nod to the goddess he started walking into the Jungle with her.

Backing up as the guard obviously didn't like to be touched or talked to, he watched in amazement as the giant turkeys were lead out. Hell, it looked like the buggers had been in league with the masked mauraders!

Pelagious beat his head on the bars. They were so screwed. He had Horndog, Horndog sympathizers and Lets play a game looneroo. Not to mention however many bird-thingys. All working against them. How was he sposed to beat the odds with that combo? Well, too bad. He wasn't about die without at least kissing his true love. Or maybe some pat and play. That sounded nice....

FOCUS. He needed to focus.

Turning back, his jaw dropped when he seen what was going on beind him. "Are you insane?! He'd rather hump us than save us! Why in the hell would you let him loose???" he exclamed. "I mean listen to him!! Banana? Who uses fruit as a safe word?" he growled again.

He muymbled something that sounded oddly enough like "death by sex.." before he began to pace. Then he seen it.

The freaking keys!! He turned around and suddenly doubted his immense stroke of genius. I mean, what was horndog gonna d? Blow kisses until they surrendered?

Giving a small sigh, he stormed over and gave his soon to brother in law a miming gesture toward the guards. "Hey Horndog. Have you noticed anything besides who has what genitals? Like the fact that the guards aren't paying much attention to us. And just maybe, you could use those delicate fingers to... oh i dont know, steal us a ticket out of here?" he suggested softly, hoping the guards weren't listening. Then he made another gesture at the gaurds hip where the keys were being held. "Or maybe you could distract them so someone else could steal the golden ticket? You know. Doing something useful besides making mojitos..."

"Zoran?" The pink angel was stuck in a lost and confused state as she looked around worriedly. He was RIGHT HERE two seconds ago. She had gotten so excited to see the island that she pranced on ahead but....Where did he go? Did he go swimming with out her? No he wouldn't do that would he? She walked around the area lost and confused before sitting down on the ground to pout. Didn't he just say how he loved her?

Her mind was racing so it took her a moment to notice how her bum was suddenly all dirty and wet. She rubbed some tears out of her eyes before noting the muddy prints, leaves dotted the area slightly. She got up and started to follow the strange tracks. They lead to, of course, the big scary jungle they were told NOT to go into. Fraise bit her lip. She didn't like scary things. She REALLY didn't like where this was leading her. She should just stay. Yup. Be safe...But Zoran...What happened to him. The angel started to tear up again. Where was he? Was he hurt? She...She had to find him! Fraise wavered slightly before slowly walking to the dark jungle-y unknown.

The sucker was in there tight, but with a good tug and a yank she had it out! It being a silver compass with an incredibly intricate face on it. The squirrel's tail twitched excitedly at its shinyness.

((Congrats! Adora has received the Internal Compass ability! She now has an innate sense of direction. This one wont be getting lost any time soon! She also has the ability to just know which way is up. Can be great use in air if they become disoriented!))

With her treasure in hand, Adora and the squirrel continue on their way. Lucky for her because the squirrel knew just where the Pae needed to be. Together they crept up on the cage.

((Now Adora can attempt to roll and snag a key from the guards! 1d100 and double numbers win you a key! - 11, 22 , 33, 44, 55, 66, 77, 88, 99. Just because you get a key doesn't mean you should rush in, though. Best of luck!))

A wave of relief came over her and Aquarious gently squeezed Thulani's hand back. She was so lucky that he understood her so simply and easily, and that he wasn't trying to change her or fix her, but just letting her be her. "I would love to see the waterfalls tonight. Perhaps we could bring food and some of the bath towels and turn it into a picnic?" That sounded like such a lovely idea...

Chae was anything but happy at this point in time. She was still a man, for starters, and that in itself put him in a very sour mood. Then there was the hang over, which he was trying so hard to not start dry heaving from because oh did his head hurt! Never had Chae felt like this, with the need to throw up everything, and the fact that he felt like his head about about to explode. No, today was a grouchy day, a day where he would not smile and did not care about it.

So when Echino grabbed his hand, he quickly pulled it away and shot the female a glare. "Yeah, sure. Swimming." He sure as hell could use the feeling of sea life around him. Maybe he could find the local sea urchins and study them. Anything to distract him from Echino... he just couldn't deal with with the other naiad. Not right now, not with how hurt he still was.

Andro attempted to scrub himself raw. Maybe if he shed off a layer or two of skin it would fix all of this. He stepped out of the shower, and sighed deeply: no such success. Dammit. Well, moping around wasn't going to make this any better, and besides, there wasn't much alone time back on the ship. Now, he needed to take advantage of that, but there really wasn't much to do romance wise because of the current situation.

A small smirk came over his face: he knew something that could take off Darias' mind the current situation.

"Hey, why don't we go down to the beach? Warm sand, salt water." Andro suggested as he left the bathroom, towel around his waist, that same playfull and cocky smile over his face. "Hot girls in bikinis."

Navidad had slept in super late, exhausted from the previous night. What in the world had gotten into her during the party? She'd hardly known Bastet, and yet she was fawning over the poor woman like she was the greatest thing on earth. That had been sooooo weird.

'I wonder what kind of perfume that would have smelled like...' She pondered to herself, sprucing herself up in the mirror and playing with her hair. There, she looked perfect, adorable even! With a giggle, she spun on her heels and marched her way to the paradise ahead of her.

Where would she go first, the hot springs? Or maybe the waterfalls? Oh oh, the surf had to be beautiful as well! Oh where to start?! That was when the alure of that deep, beautiful jungle called to her. There were sure to be pleanty of beautiful flowers in there, many different fruits. Pleanty of inspiration for new perfumes! How lucky she was to go on this cruise!

Without a second though, she went right into the thick, almost smothering jungle.

The walk to the jungle itself was nice enough, even if they didn't speak during it. There was a moment she looked down the path towards that waterfall. There were a few interested in it earlier, probably all down there right now making it crowded. That was comforting in a way.

Right before they entered the jungle, a lovely red feather caught her attention tied to a tree. That was interesting. Those branches concerned her for a petty reason. There wasn't a lot of time but it was harder to concentrate with the branches grabbing her hair. "I need a moment. Try calling for Adora she may be close enough to hear you." The ribbion around her wrist was there for a reason.

It would be a challenge in a half to force her hair up by herself, but it couldn't be helped there were no Cherubs to do it for her. It never occurred to her that they should have sent in said cherubs, this was not deity work! Even so, it was what it was at this point. Gathering up her hair as she stepped into the jungle, the deity did up an effort into gathering it up in order to tie it up. Trouble was the thick black waves kept falling loose either in her fingers out right out of the back of the effort. The feeling of her hair falling back against her back was just distracting.

Once again, she worked on pulling it up and stopping the stray locks from getting loose. Doing so she was able to walk well enough at least. Slowing her Champion down on his quest was just unseemly. And again, the hair came tumbling down sweeping to the left. Why had a ribbon seemed like a good idea?

Dysmas froze as he spotted the cage through the bushes. Sweetie was the first pae he saw, and he instantly looked over her to see that she was not harmed. He tugged on Caine's arm looking at him with wide eyes trying to convey to him that they had found Sweetie without using words.

Dysmas ducked low as a guard walked by. His eyes narrowed as he looked at these strange masked pae, trying to make sense of it. Why had they taken Sweetie and all these other pae, why was she in a cage. Most importantly, how was he going to get her out. There were so many of these little pae, and just the two of them. He looked at Caine again, his eyes pleading.

Mayu pulled away in alarm at her sister's comment. Failed? Sure, Mayu had assumed her sister would come looking for her, but there was no reason at all she'd considered this a failure! “Oh, sweet Lillibeth. You are alive and well, that is all I can ask for.” She looked at her sadly, she prayed to the goddess she wouldn't take it so hard. She'd never see her sister that way.

She leaned in close as her sister lowered her voice, a large smile blossomed onto her face, “Perfect, Lillibeth! See! Not a familiar at all. I am so proud of what you have accomplished.” There was a genuine glee to her. She trusted her own kind to get the job done, if what she was saying was true there then were others out there looking for them. It was just a matter of time.

When Lillibeth presented the flower to her, Mayu's eyes widened. They were the lovliest thing she'd ever seen! So lovely in fact, she wanted to gobble it right up! She touched the petals lightly, “Why would we waste it on them?” she asked in a slight daze. “They smell so lovely...”

Her daze was shattered when the door opened. She shoved the flower back at Lillibeth in an attempt to hide it from their captors. She felt her heart fall some when she saw two more harpies joining them- one she recognized very well. She looked away for a moment, clearing her throat when the memories flooded her. “Were these the ones that had been following you?” she whispered to her sister. She prayed not, prayed they hadn't failed.

She watched them clear out before eyeing the berries. Her stomach rumbled and she blushed lightly. How unbecoming of her! Oh my how badly she wanted the nectar... and those berries! But what if they were poison!? A part of her doubted it though. Would they kill them so simply after everything they had gone through? Plus they were suddenly acting so nice to them...

“What do you think? Are they safe?”

POP! Her eyes widened in surprise as the object actually dislodged itself.

What...was it? Looking at the device in curiosity, Adora read the letters N, E, S and W. When she moved the little needle inside moved too. Odd. Some sort of map or directional thing. She held it up to her new friend with a bit of a giggle. "I wonder what this was doing in there!" A nut and a shiny thing, going out had been a good choice! Though she hoped Lucius wasn't sore at her leaving him behind.

She slowly stood up and continued on her way until the trees fell away to reveal...a cage...full of pae. Oh dear Guardians... She ducked behind a bush to not be seen by the little guards patrolling. What was going on here? With her power, she might be able to get them out one by one...but she wasn't very good with her misting power yet. Some pae could get hurt...

But she did see a shiny keyring on one. Slowly, quietly she crept forward.

Lucius stumbled forward with the breeze. He raised an eyebrow and looked sideways where it came from. There were no other breezes. And living in a haunted jungle where the spirits are constantly trying to get your attention tends to make a pae familiar with certain presences. He felt the looks, but still assumed it was a restless spirit. Maybe they aren't that far from Loka Nei jungle after all and this was just an unexplored side. Though the vegetation did look different. And there were signs the local wildlife wasn't quite the same.

He reached out, putting his finger near the beak of the bird that is carved on top. There was a small arc of static charge before he touched it. He saw, but didn't feel it due to his own abilities. The touch jarred him, and he pulled his hand away as quickly as he could, cradling the hand. It didn't hurt. It didn't shock him. It was something else. A flash of something else in his mind. Something he didn't want any part of.
