It was quite sad that he worked on his assignment as soon as class was over. Cyril was aware of how his classmate would spend their time hangout or if do their assignment together, turning it into fun outing. He wasn't sure what he felt. Lonely? no, it's not that. Jealousy then? perhaps. It will be safer too if he had another person with him. The forest made him cautious, despite how it was suppose to be safe.
"Here we are again," Cyril spoke out for the sake of his pokemon. Both of them outside. "It is for assignment, so no initiating battle," he let them know, causing Sieg's enthusiasm to dampen. "Later, alright, Sieg. homework first," cyril ruffled the sneasel's head to the pokemon's annoyance.
-o-o-o-o-
After fiddling with his pokegear, Cyril finally figured out how to get the camera to work. A burmy that blended with the bushes was easy. the pokemon was more concerned with camouflaging in. He got slakoth longuing placidly on tree branch. Flying type was harder, he hadn't had a chance to aim even and the swablu flew out of range. He was chasing skitty now. The little pokemon dashed off once it spotted him. His pokemon took off after it moment later, forcing Cyril to follow suit. "ice shard, Aisha. Quick attack, Sieg!" They would need to hinder the skitty. He was unsure whether he could manage a picture during battle, but he had to stop his target either way.
Aisha's ice shard caused the skitty to change direction and slowed down. An opening that Sieg took by slamming the skitty with quick attack. the force propelled both pokemon away.
((OOC: the unfinished ending is intentional for Alana to intrude on ))

Running, it just kept on running till it breached the trees of the forest. The darkness that the trees provided was long missed by this small fox creature. It slowed down once it could feel the shade of those trees protecting it. Whether the human decided to follow it or not was of little concern. It didn’t purposely drag the human here to show what it was missing, what it was craving….or even who it was missing. The shadows in the forest were far more welcoming than the open land of the grassland. There were no trees to take refuge, there was nothing to hide behind, there was no way to express one part of its innermost being. It prefered being in the shadows where it could torment people. This forest was the perfect place for that! It couldn’t even do that during what the human called “breakfast.” With so many others watching how else could it have possibly be at home? The other two Pokemon appeared content. The Chespin was the human’s mother who loved to tease their chile while the Ponyta appeared to be the silent type till something disturbed the humans. Those two Pokemon were far too tied to the hip with that human. Zorua preferred being the lone wolf type but with a partner it had sorely missed….
Alana and the two were chasing after the Zorua as quickly as they could. The girl didn’t think that the Zorua would run so far as to the Forest area of the area. Either her stamina increased or those Gym Classes were doing something for her. Surely she would have been out of the running by now. Well, at least Chespin was kind enough to run on its own but even that Grass Pokemon didn’t seem to be all that happy with the chase. Chespin looked quite tired while Ponyta seemed rather content with this jog. The three would continue their investigation, the girl especially wanted to know why her Zorua ran all the way here.
Zorua walked through the forested area. That is, when the sound of some muffling and moving around caught its attention. The noise was nearby and the Zorua wasn’t doing anything that needed its attention. The small fox creature padded through the grass, through the bushes, and stuck its head out to see the commotion. It couldn’t say that it was pleased to see another human, or to be more precise another Trainer. It looked like a two on one fight with Skitty losing those odds. “Zoru?!” In a flash one of the Pokemon was hurled towards its direction. Without leaving so much as a opening a Sneasel was hurled right into the Zorua. With some tumbling and jumbling the two were interlocked. The fox creature panicked so, as a precaution, transformed into the Sneasel. It was practically an identical copy. The transformed Zorua looked at the Sneasel, with a small toothy grin on its face. Moving itself away from the, it interlocked its hooked-hand with the human’s Pokemon before dragging it towards the scene of the battle. The transformed Zorua gave a small wave towards the human with that same toothy smile on its face. As for Alana? She was desperately trying to find her Zorua to the point where she began to call out its name. The mimicked Sneasel’s ears flinched at the sound but it retained its happy-looking composure. ”Zorua! Where are you Zorua?” The sound grew nearer but the changed Zorua would not let go of the Sneasel’s claw. The girl came further and further close, till at last, she stumbled upon the scene.

Siegrid had a great tumble. He hurled in and out of a bush, scraping himself with twigs and leaves. The skitty was least of his concern as he got faceful of fur that he knew it wasn't skitty from scent and he was dizzy, so much that world was spinning. Aisha fared better as she came after him in a run, quickly spotting the sneasel in a heap with another, then to the skitty that was as dizzy as Siegrid. It was shaking its head in its attempt to recover. Indecision crossed Aisha briefly in between helping her teammate or follow his trainer's order to stall the skitty. Order won as the sneasel was in no danger. She spat out more ice shard to block the skitty's escape. The skitty was very upset now and cornered. It did what choice it had left, it rushed Aisha for a tackle.
Cyril arrived last to witness the mess. There was two sneasel now, one of them hissing in indignation -- he could walk by himself and needn't help -- for being dragged by the other. Cyril thought the hissing one could be his, but he wasn't sure, the sneasel appeared identical to him. While Aisha had engaged in a battle with a skitty. it wasn't much a fight with skitty trying to find the real Aisha among her copies. On top of that, another person came into the scene, asking about missing pokemon. Whom should he dealt with first?
"There's only them around here," Cyril answered as he was the only one who can. He recognized the girl now that he had taken a good look at her. She was that odd one who bowed to him out of nowhere. "excuse me a moment, I have a mess to solve," he told her and went to take over the situation. He would speak with her later if she was still around after. "Aisha, it's time to end it. the poor skitty looks about to collapse," he shouted out. the skitty was reduced to chasing illusion around the field, while the snorunt was happy to play hide and seek with it. Then he approached the duo and grabbed the calm one by the scruff of its neck, "also Siegrid, who is your new friend?" he was unsure what to make of them. As far as he saw they weren't fighting, despite one of them close to do just that. Cyril noted the sneasel in his hand was lighter than Siegrid, pegging it as wild(?).

A sharp hissing sound came right by the artificial Sneasel’s ear. A quick glance at its companion was all too telling of the mood. Maybe this human’s Sneasel wasn’t much for hand holding but the expression on its face only added to Zorua’s delight. That sweet smile on its face could hardly contain the joy of this moment. Now the question was how long it could contain that joy while its human Trainer made her no-so-grand-appearance. That smile didn’t leave its face, however, the humor it felt was seeping away. That human girl was such a joy kill. Though, there was still a chance for the Zorua to continue to bask in this situation. As long as it could stay looking like the human’s Sneasel it may be able to get away scott free. What about the other human though? Would this male human Trainer be able to identify his own Pokemon? Would he just ride along with this situation? Or should Zorua have a bit more fun with both of these humans.
Alana tried to take in all of what was happening. From where she stood it looked like there was a battle happening. For now, it looked like it was a battle between a Skitty and a cone-shaped Pokemon. Something about this yellow/black creature reminded her of something that she read but the name of this creature wasn’t within her memory banks. Blue eyes scanned the Pokemon so that it could be recorded within the girl’s mind when she found the time to look up this Pokemon’s information. It was both intriguing and a bit nerve wracking to see a Pokemon she had never seen before. Were they rare? Did they not live in the region she lived in? Would it let her touch him/her? Was it not very friendly around humans? Did it only prefer the companionship with only one? There were many questions but there was still more to this scene. The child’s gaze loomed over to the other piece of this scene. A male, a boy, a Salamance member with blue hair except at the tips. There was no way the girl could have easily forgotten about this boy. He was the one she saw in the library doing homework, perhaps. Had he come to the forest to train? Did she interrupt? Though a part of her would have preferred to apologize and retreat, there was still a missing Pokemon to be found. ”Them?” The child cocked her head to the side while the boy walked off to a pair of green-ish colored Pokemon. This Pokemon was called a Sneasel and the girl was more aware of the name than the Pokemon. Where she was from, being given the nickname ‘Sneasel’ implied that you were a thief or a shady type of fellow. Not a positive nickname to give to anyone. Apparently it had something to do with the shadiness of an actual Sneasel but Alana hadn’t honestly experienced it firsthand. Though, at the very least, she was aware that they weren’t the most common Pokemon. So why were there two? One looked quite peeved while the other had this smile on its face that just….reminded her of someone. The girl didn’t quite agree with her deduction that this smiling Sneasel was another….her...another. Was it possible that Wild Sneasel lived in the forest...maybe? This was her first time to actually lay her eyes on the Pokemon. Maybe it was better to take some action? Even though it seemed that the Salamance member had an agenda already as they ordered their Pokemon to conclude the fight. Alana’s eyes only momentarily watched the battle while two other Pokemon joined by her side. Chespin looked out of breath while the Ponyta looked content with their exercise. The horse actually poked the human in the hopes of resuming their run. Chespin expressed its unhappiness towards the maniac Pokemon who wanted to resume that kind of run.
Now the fake Sneasel had three components to worry about. One was the real Sneasel that looked ready to maul the transformed Zorua, the second was the human girl who seemed to be staring quite a bit at it right now, and then there was the human male who had a mind to question this fake Sneasel. Well, the fox couldn’t win all of its battles but it could definitely have some fun. Transforming itself back into its original form, the Zorua leapt onto the human’s arm and gave it a playful wink. With a devilish grin on its face it hopped off the male human’s arm and transforming into a Skitty. Alana didn’t miss a beat as she saw the whole transaction occurring. Her gut feeling was actually right for once. Even when transformed into a Skitty it still had that smile on its face.

Today was gym day and honestly, Ava couldn't be more excited. Gym was fun. There was dodgeball, soccer, what about sports wasn't there to love? Gym also meant it was Friday, and Ava was totally ok with the weekend upon them.
However, the young girl had some assignments she needed to take care of. Mr. Reyes, the battle/fill in tech teacher asked them to photograph some pokemon in addition to scanning them all. Honestly, Ava was missing a lot of pokemon from that assignment. How in the world would she know that she got them all?
Ava figured she'd try at least. She was getting used to having to go out to places like the forest by herself. It sucked, sure. But it wasn't so sad feeling with some pokemon around. Fritz clung to her shoulder for dear life, while Gala stared down pokemon from the top of Ava's head. She could feel Gala's legs rustle against her hair as she adjusted ever so slightly; it was super cool.
She took a beaten path and managed to find a Wurmple in a tree, scanning and moving in closer to take a photo. The pokemon, not fond of having a camera shoved in its face, let out a gruntled noise and moved away as soon as it could. Further along the path, she saw a couple Pidgey in the trees. Ava managed to scan them, although snapping a branch under her feet caused them to fly away, leaving her with a brown, hazy blob of a Pidgey photo. Fritz stayed quiet while Gala let out a little laugh at the girl's misfortunes. "Maybe we'll get a better one," she told her pokemon. Hopefully, she'd be able to hear the bell for class from out here.
Before Ava could take more photos, she heard the bell for gym, and made her way down there. She could hardly wait!

►Wrap ►Leer ►Poison Sting ► Marcus had woken up early, like he usually did. Back in Eterna, he had often woken up and gone for walks before the sun was in the sky or shortly after, in the early hours of the morning. It was a tradition that he carried with him even now at Ordell. It helped that he had spent the day before trekking around with Evelyn for the research club. Smiling at the memory Marcus looked down at the gear the school had given him. The first part of his assignment was scanning all pokemon in the forest. The second was photographing them. Of course Marcus could always just take pictures of the few pokemon he had scanned. Technically, that would satisfy the requirements but somehow Marcus didn't think that would fly. And it didn't really solve his problem. I got no darn clue how to use this thing. He thought looking down at the gear moodily. The reason Marcus had been using his phone to text take pictures and video was he never really got the hang of his gear. It worked out just fine too, cept now Mr. Reyes had given them stupid homework. Marcus wasn't even gonna try and find the camera app. He knew there was a chance he wouldn't figure it out in time for next class. So he was focusing on the part he did know how to do. Scanning pokemon in the forest. Better one low grade than two after all. Tracking the pokemon down was easy enough for him. Back home in Eterna forest he had learned to find tracks just by wandering around. Marcus put a hand in front of his face and rolled his footsteps the way he had been taught looking around and paying attention. He took a moment to enjoy the quiet of the forest. He hadn't actually realized how much he missed the quiet. Classes and the school were always filled with noise. Ambient noise, conversations and pokemon chattering. It was...overwhelming? He wasn't sire if that was the right word since it didn't usually bother him. Marcus wasn't sire what to call it. All he knew was a headache he had no idea he had until then was receding. Looking around he found a small set of tracks and started to follow them walking to the base of a tree. Marcus made sure to keep his steps quiet as he approached the bug pokemon. A caterpie, and a weedle sitting next to it. Both caterpillar pokemon were nibbling from a big leaf. Marcus managed to scan them before they started crawling away. Going deeper into the forest he saw some of the leafs move. “aww it's an Oddish” he murmured before kneeling down to scan it too. He had already scanned a ledyba...how many more pokemon could he have left?

►Wrap ►Leer ►Poison Sting ► Marcus continued his walk through the forest not really looking where he was going. He had become immersed in the serenity the forest offered and as usual, wound up wandering. Currently, he was looking at a wurmple as it made it’s way up the tree. Without thinking much about it Marcus reached out a hand wanted it to crawl on his hand only to snatch his hand back when the wurmple reared up it’s spikes. He hissed a bit in pain when he realized he hadn’t snatched his hand back fast enough “Ow. Okay. Fiiine” he said putting his hand to his mouth. Were wurmple stings harmful? He couldn’t remember right now. He felt fine though. It was fine right? Yeah. “I’ll just...just here..stay there. Good wurmple” Marcus said holding up his gear to the bug. In a moment, the voice from his gear ( which he had secretly named Jarvis) rattled off information about the pokemon. Wurmple, the Worm Pokémon. Wurmple live primarily off of sap from trees. The suction cups on its feet keep it from slipping. “They also use the spikes, the sharp spikes-this was said with a dirty look towards the wurmple-”to get the bark out. Thank you Jarvis” Marcus added. He liked complementing whatever the pokedex said with knowledge he had from other sources. Of course he couldn’t always do that. Marcus liked watching documentaries and learning about pokemon but documentaries tended to be themed so there were some pokemon he didn’t have as much knowledge about. Mostly fairy and ghost pokemon, he thought stepping over a branch. And some dark types ‘cause they’re harder to find and research. Forest pokemon were of course his forte, Marcus had grown up in Eterna. The forest was basically his backyard. Or was it front-yard? He wasn’t sure. Did Eterna city face north or south? With a mental shrug Marcus saw slight movement out of the corner of his eye and caught a kricketot and a pidgey fighting it off. He wondered briefly what the encounter was about but figured maybe it was territory..or food.. Or maybe the kricketot was the food? Marcus got as close as he dared and scanned the two pokemon. Listening to Jarvis the dexter talk about both species. He realized after a beat that both pokemon were pokemon he’d like to have and suddenly wished he could ask the school for more pokeballs. Maybe he could use apricots? Hadn’t Mr. Takahiro said something about pokeballs being made of nuts? He really needed to catch up in that class. The bell rang, Marcus knew this because the alarm he had set to tell him when class was starting was set off. It startled the pokemon in front of him and the Kingdra gave something between a ‘gah’ and a yelp as the pidgey kicked up a gust of sand and sped past him. Raising his arms over his head, Marcus stumbled and rolled backwards, somehow finding himself on the path again. “That makes all the morning ones” he said looking at the pokemon he had unknowingly tripped over putting his scanner to it “Budew, the bud pokemon.it keeps it’s bud closed during the winter months but opens them in warm weather and” Marcus sneezed before continuing.”..theleazes pollen” Sensitive to changing temperature, the bud is said to bloom when it feels the sun's warm touch. The pokedex went off after a bit It lives alongside clear ponds. It scatters pollen that induces harsh sneezing and runny noses. “Yeah thanks Jarvis” Marcus muttered pushing off the ground and dusting off his uniform as best he could. Shouldering his backpack and making sure all his pokeball and things were in order, he turned in the direction of the path and...after sneezing again ran off in the direction of the gym.

Ava made her way into the woods with Fritz on her shoulder and Gala in her ball. As she dug through her bag to find her Pokegear, her hand brushed the Poke Dazzler at the bottom of her bag. She remembered getting this, but hadn't thought about it too much with all the school work going on. "How does this even work?" she asked, looking to Fritz. If she wanted any of her pokemon to look cool and special, it was definitely her first pokemon. Fritz crawled his way onto her palm, nervous but ready to try. "Let's give it a go!" Ava held the device up to her pokemon, which glowed a bright, nearly blinding light for a few seconds. Ava shielded her eyes with her free hand, but looking to Fritz, he was now orange! "Whoa! Fritz! You're so cool looking!" She quickly grabbed her Pokegear so she could show her pokemon its new reflection. It was different, but not too different. Fritz enjoyed it.
With a little pep in his scuttle, he made his way back to her shoulder and the two looked through the woods for some pokemon to scan and take photos of. From up above them flew what looked like some fast moving clouds. Soon, those clouds began to make some noises and calls! In curiosity, Ava scanned the sky to find out they were actually pokemon! Apparently it was a Swablu! Ava took a photo at the group flying by, but by now they were a little far away, nearly blending in with the cloudy sky in the background. "Well I hope this counts,"she said to herself. If you looked closely, you could see the lighter Swablu from the darker cloud, but it was difficult. For now, Ava kept walking along.
tabtabtabtabSomex turnx tox dustx orx tox goldtab! tabtabtab--- x --- x --- x --- x ---xx but you'll remember me! tabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabremember me for centuries!
Ava walked along the paths as it got darker outside. She tried taking a couple of photos, but the incoming darkness made it hard to get a clear shot of anything. Jeez, taking pictures was hard. She didn't have too many clear shots as it was, the only one being that really annoyed Wurmple from earlier. The pokemon coming out at night were cooler looking than those from the afternoon. Ava walked along and found some green pod pokemon hanging from the trees. Scanning one of them, she learned they were all Metapods, little green cocoons waiting to become a different pokemon."I guess this is what Caterpie evolves into," Ava said to her little orange pokemon. Fritz squeaked in agreement. The Metapod were easier to get a photo of, but they didn't seem fond of flash photography. At the flash of the camera, they began to whine and grunt. "Oops..." Ava said, quickly walking away from the little disturbance she had created. Hopefully, it wouldn't wake an Ursaring or something. Her parents always warned her to be careful of those.
Not much further ahead, Ava and Fritz ran into a different cocooned pokemon, this one yellow and a little more intimidating to look at. Ava scanned this one, learning it was a Kakuna, the evolution from Weedle. "Do they all just sit here and wait to evolve?" It seemed a little odd to Ava. Fritz and Gala weren't just waiting to evolve in a little shell. They still did things. Remembering how averse the Metapod were to the flash, Ava took a photo without it. The picture didn't come out as clear, but it was definitely a Kakuna. Keeping her eyes peeled for some more pokemon to photograph and scan, Ava continued on the path.

Cyril stayed silent when Alana started scribbling and when she explained it was so she didn't forget. He wondered if she was that forgetful to require physical note of people. It was odd, but he won't judge. He opted to move onto leaving the library rather than dwelling on that. Siegrid was quick to climb and latch unto Cyril's shoulder with Aisha choosing to walk on the ground when they exited the library, though Cyril had to turn to see behind him. Good thing that he did as Alana came out moment after with Chespin in tow. He said nothing to her delayed exit. He did however, noted to pay more attention to Alana so he didn't accidentally left her behind.
Their walk to reach the forest was uneventful. Siegrid was content with his perch and even smugly taunting Zorua for the fact. Aisha was keeping Chespin company, occasionally chattering about whatever they came across, be it plant she hadn't seen before to the shape of the cloud. Cyril was content to listen to background noise of the pokemon and their footsteps, yet for some reason, there was awkward tension that made him uncomfortable. "How was your day?" Cyril tried and ended up telling Alana about his class, particularly Science and technology. " --We got another day of substitute teacher. It's a wonder he is still in employment with how many times he went absent," he remarked. "This photo taking is actually for that class. Supposedly, it's to teach us about function of our pokegear," he rambled on. He was starting to exhaust himself of what to say to break the silence.
Cyril had never been happier that they finally reached their destination. "So, cherubi first," he announced. "Do you think it's okay for Zorua to sit on a tree branch?" he questioned Alana. It was better to ask their opinion and whether or not Zorua are willing to. It wasn't until he got their answer that he set out to work by scanning various trees. "This one's too bare . . . " he muttered at a branch devoid of leaves, he had to move about the area until he found an adequate branch. That was empty of pokemon and obscured enough. The problem was it was hanging above their head and would require work to get Zorua up there. "uhh . . . I found a good spot, but it's rather high. maybe you find a better one?" Cyril called out for their attention. Siegrid appeared to take it as a challenge as he easily scaled the tree to sit on the branch Cyril gestured at. "Sneasel!" he cried out as if showing off. "Not everyone can climb like you do," Cyril told the sneasel, taking the act as Siegrid's way to say it's not a problem.

Fast walking out of the library Alana glanced around her surrounding. A bit of panic entered her mind while she tried to calmly look around the area. Looking left, then right, then front and behind; the panic on her face was evident enough to cause passersby to be cautious. To them the girl looked like a lost child who was trying to find her family. It was until the girl caught sight of Frisch, with some help of an exasperated Chespin, that she was able to calm down a little bit. ’This is already coming off as a bad start...isn't it. Pull yourself together Alana and don’t let little things like these stop you.’ Quietly sighing to herself Alana pushed herself to catch up with Frisch while trying to stay on the positive side of things. While Alana was more concerned about catching up with the boy, Chespin gazed down at a Cherubi that took a side glance at Alana. The fake Cherubi didn’t stare at the human long for once she was in its sight it began to fawn over the human male once more. It made the Chespin think with a smug smile plastered on its face.
The Cherubi glanced at the Snorunt hanging on the boy’s shoulder. It clicked its tongue loud enough for Siegrid to hear. It wasn’t interesting in not showing its distaste of the situation. Though once they were in the forest Zorua believed it could turn this tasteless situation around. So it allowed for this smug Sneasel to have its fun because it wasn’t going to let it have any fun once it was it’s turn. Chespin, on the other hand, was having a pleasant situation with Aisha. Certainly that might have been strange seeing a Grass-type hanging out with an Ice-type, but neither one of them seemed to pay it much mind. It was content enough to even walk side-by-side with the Snorunt. They chatted about anything really, and Chespin was happy enough to actually be able to talk to someone who could actually understand him. As for the girl, she was more focused on watching the Pokemon interact with each other. Watching Zorua disapprove of Siegrid’s actions even though the Sneasel had every right to hand on whatever body part that belonged to Frisch. Then watching Chespin interact with Aisha because there was no way she could actually know what those two were talking about. It was actually a lively bunch that she found herself in and that made her blossom. ”My day?” Alana reiterated the question when Frisch spoke up out of the blue. It wasn’t enough to make any of the Pokemon break from their routine so she believed the question was aimed at her. ”Mmmmmmm….I think it's a really nice day.” There wasn’t anything in particular that was bad or good about her day. Sure, she had a disobedient Zorua that liked other humans than the human that actually caught it, then there was the plain fact that Zorua would rather listen to another Trainer and then….’Stop it, it isn’t going to help you thinkin like that.’ The thought of Zorua running off to a different Trainer made her really sad but the girl wasn’t so brave enough to show that sadness to someone else. In the meantime Alana listened in on Frisch rambling. It made her feel a little better knowing that people had problems of their own.
The Kingdra member took a glance at the fake Cherubi who already making its way to the tree branch. With a hop, skip and a bounce, the Pokemon nestled on the tree branch next to Siegrid. It was not a big fan of how this particular Pokemon was trying to show off. With a fake smile plastered on its face the Cherubi subtly booped the Sneasel out of the tree. It giggled to itself while looking down at the Sneasel. The Zorua was enjoying itself a bit too much. ”I’m fine as long as Zorua is fine with it.”’Even though I think Zorua would be just fine with it even if you asked it to jump off a cliff.’ Alana clearly didn’t say that last bit out loud since she would surely receive some backlash from it at a later day or time.
The Cherubi gave a few poses here and there to catch the boy’s attention. It didn’t want to share any of the attention with that gruffy Sneasel since it already took so much time from it already. ”Remember Zorua, you have to act as if you were an actual Cherubi.” The fake Cherubi didn’t show that it recognized the command Alana gave. The human girl really wanted to sigh but it was better to play along with it then give Frisch any trouble. Alana pulled out her device to search out the other Pokemon that needed to be caught on camera. When Frisch was about done taking photos of the Cherubi Alana showed the next Pokemon it needed to transform into. The girl continued to do so until Frisch was satisfied with his pictures.

It turned out there was no problem at all for Zorua got herself up with ease. Cyril had to winced when Zorua bobbed Siegrid though. "Sne! sne-sel-sel!!!" Said pokemon sputtered out indignant reply at the treatment he received as he attempted to regain balance. "Siegrid!" Cyril stepped in when he saw Siegrid was going to fell off. The sneasel smirked back for only Zorua to witness before he let himself get pulled down by gravity to Cyril's outstretched arms. "I got you, I got you!" Cyril breathed in relief as he managed to catch the sneasel. "Zorua . . . that's really dangerous. I won't have the two of you endanger each other," he gave Zorua a stern talking, "That included you too," he gave the same warning to Siegrid that was in his arm, causing Siegrid to pout. "Don't give me that, I am serious. You might be just playing around, but accident can happen and when it does, it will be too late," he stopped to take a breath, then continued with softer tone, he didn't want them to get hurt, "please, be more attentive." He was fine with his pokemon's little argument that so far had been simply trying to one up the other. It looked like a rivalry to him so he had left them alone.
Another thing that had also bothered him was Alana. Cyril was unsure of how he should act. He had been trying to be nice, to try get Alana to be comfortable, unlike how he usually acted. Maybe he should just be himself like how he was, but he had known where that took him. He had not had any close friend for he made no effort for such friendship to be born. This was awkward and he couldn't suddenly drop the act here. He had noticed Alana was hesitant as what to be expected since they didn't know each other until yesterday, practically stranger. Despite that, he could not help but wonder if he had done something wrong during the duration they had known each other. He inwardly lamented his abysmal communication skill.
The group moved on to their next list of pokemon, though even Cyril could tell that they were more subdued compared to the cheer earlier. Bellsprout was easy, they needed only to have pick a shaded ground with Zorua posing as what appeared to be passing bellsprout. Paras was more challenging. They had to look for pile of leaves, even went as far as collecting those leaves to make a big enough pile for Zorua-paras to hide in for their photo-shot. All thorough it, Cyril had tried to liven the mood, most of time he felt silly for trying. It was clear he was faking most of his cheer, even Aisha, his snorunt gave him a pitying pat and Siegrid had hidden his face behind both paws over some of what he did. Alright, cue for him to stop. "Am I bothering you?" Cyril finally asked. "it's just . . . " he tried to say and gave up as no word followed it. "sorry, I shouldn't have done all that," he apologized, fully thinking he was at fault.
((OOC: . . . I realized too late that a fall won't harm pokemon when they can take so much worse from battle . . . I spent too much time editing and writing that part to simply delete it )) (( Cyril's last dialogue is meant to be sudden and vague, so Alana is free to interpret it as she wished ))
