Short Summary of their plotline:
Born to Melody Forte and Mecho Amachi, Mezzo was one of six kids born to their mother, more prematurely than usual even for soquili. Having not collected enough baskets, their family having only had three and a spare, they were forced to put the young foals into the baskets, and Mezzo was placed in the same basket as his younger brother Opus before the enchantment could seal him in for the remaining months of their development.
However this potentially rocky start didn't put a damper on the young Mezzo's cheerful, upbeat, and quick mind. He was active, curious, and always on the move, and when he went off to earn his second bell during his second year he earned it by starting off with a single shiny stone and trading his way up until he returned home with a long spool of striped fabric tangled around his head and body, proving that, even though he had the advantage of a smaller size and an adorable lisp at the time, that he had the skills to become a trader like his father.
He took to the training with gusto, enjoying the fact it let him wander and explore the world and provide for his herd as he grew out of his lisp and became a handsome young stallion.
What is their Personaliy?
Mezzo is an energetic and charismatic young man, and a great trader, but has the habit of getting distracted by the 'fairer gender', getting used to the new feelings that came as he matured into adult hood.
Does the soquili have a profession?
He is a traveling trader.
What is their family dynamics? And as a Traveling Trader, whether or not he even KNOWS about his kids is up to the partner. If they are to be brought to Yectenehua to be raised, they'd grow up in a herd run by an Usdia and Angeni couple, with family in unusual couples and varying cultures and beliefs.
Traditions:
Headscarfs and jingle bells are culturally important to his father's side, and Jingle bells are culturally important to his mothers side. It represents wealth, luck, and is even used to keep track of other members of the herd during Sandstorms on his paternal side, thus making them one of the most valuable things they have in their desert history. Because of this, kids are at least sure to have bells.
Those from Yectenehua usually are gifted little totems laced with brightly colored feathers.
Herd/Family culture:
Mecho's side of the family is nomadic in nature, dwelling in the desert. But Mecho was a "runner", running between small sub-herds as a messanger and trader, and found himself outside of the desert. Taking the opportunity, to try and orient himself, he decided to travel on the outter side of the mountains rather than wander the desert aimlessly. However, he soon found himself fond of the land that didn't sting his eyes with sand and the wealth that was available, and begain trading for goods and establishing routes to bring goods from one area to another, bringing what people wanted or needed for needs and luxuries.
And then he met Melody.
Melody came from a herd that was musical in theme, and had branched out on her own. The two shared a dance, having fun and simply enjoying life together, and eventually the dance became courtship.
Now they live in Yectenehua, Melody staying mostly to the herd run by the Angeni of Learning Cuauhcoatl and his lovemate, a little Usdia named Ikinya.
Religious Beliefs:
Yectenehua doesn't have one set belief -- it was made for those who do good but are not usually welcomed by many herds due to their appearances or to find sanctuary.
