Defense Against Dark Arts {FINALS UP DUE 11-13-10}

Endria walks to the cabinet,she takes her wand and concentrates in the spell.When the professor opens the cabinet door blackness comes out,it is nothing but pure blackness,Endria says Riddikulus,and slowly little lights of many colors start appearing and the darkness disappears almost completely.

Bruce walked up to the cabinet, determined but scared. The boggart, slightly dazed from the class' laughter, turned on him and changed into something tall and metallic. "Riddikulus!" Bruce shouts. A cloud appears over the boggart and it begins to rain, causing the metal to rust.

Leo stepped forward timidly and the rusted figure glared down at her menacingly, sneering into the depths of her heart in search of her greatest fear. A black smoke swept the metal from the figure and transformed it into a large, hooded black creature floating above her. A dementor was before her now and a cold, lifeless chill filled the room, cooling Leonette from the inside out. It faced her blankly before approaching her and Leo felt her soul being tugged from inside of her. She mumbled in terror 'Riddikulus'.

Luckily, the spell was a success and the boggart transformed into a dancing clown, but tears rolled down Leo's cheeks and she fell to the ground crying and in a fetal position.

Miranda scooted up to the front of the line, anxiously. The clown's stare peirced through her, searching for her biggest fear. Suddenly, it changed. It engulfed her, and she closed her eyes and waited for the teacher to save her. But nothing happened. When she opened them again, she was on the stage of Carnegie Hall, and all the lights were on her, but there was not a soul to be found in any of the seats. She brought up her wand and yelled "Riddikulus!"
Luckily, it worked, and the whole place turned into a circus tent, and then exploded, like a balloon!  

[Stardust Disaster]

"Sorry I'm cutting it short professor!" Amber says out of breath as she comes in to the classroom and prepares to meet the "Dementor".
Taking a deep breath, she readies her self, thinking of the happiest thing she could. It was from her imagination, but it was absolulely wonderful.
As the dementor approches, her blood goes cold and sh struggles to hold on to her thought. Before it is completle gone, she shouts, "Expecto Patronum!!!!"
To he shock and utter amazment, a silvery figure recends from her wand. It's large and flying, and she imediatly thinks, Oh my goodness! My patronus is an owl! The thought strengthens the patrons for a second, but she becomes exausted from the engry it had taken out of her. The owl disappers as she lowers her wand smiling.

Professor Gris-Ocre rises from her desk and begins to lecture on Level 1 Lesson 3. Having an enchanted chalk write her lecture on the board behind her. As she speaks she wanders the classroom and pauses a few times to ask questions Endria, why would you use Lumos? After the student Answered she continues on with the lecture. After completing the lecture she announces the Homework and excuses the Level 1 Students.

Professor Gris-Ocre then starts Level 2 Lesson 3's lecture. Now that we understand the basics, a few spells and a dark creature, lets move on to Dark Detectors. The three I will teach you are Foe-Glass, Sneakascope and a Secrecy Sensor. Professor Gris-Ocre finished with the first two and discussed a use of the Secrecy detector During the 1996–1997 school year at Hogwarts, as part of the school's increased security measures, the late caretaker Argus Filch scanned all students who entered or left the school with a secrecy sensor. asking one student a question Kamalia, Why would Hogwarts use a Secrecy Sensor? After the student answered the question she continued her lecture covering the Homework and then excusing the Level 2 Students.

Starting the last Level, Level 3 Lesson 3 lecture was easy since it was just Amber in the classroom. The Chalk transcribed the lecture to the board as Professor Gris-Ocre discussed the Unforgivable Curses. The Cruciatus Curse was deemed by the Ministry to be dark magic, and, along with the Imperius and Killing curses, were declared "unforgivable" in 1717. Amber, why were these spells made unforgivable? After she has given the answer Professor Gris-Ocre finished the lecture and gave the assignment, letting Amber go just as the bell rang for the next class.

Bruce points his wand at a practice target and casts the spell. "Mucus ad Nauseam!"

Having mastered the Curse of the Bogies, Bruce starts practicing knockback jinxes. He pointed his wand at the practice dummy and cast the jinx. "Flipendo!"  

[Nite of Storms]

Sonas walks in calmly and reads her homework before answering the questions. She trys the spell Lumos first standing in a dark corner.
"Lumos."
With her average casting she sighs....It's good enough for now before moving on to the next spell.  

[Nite of Storms]

Calmly Sonas waves her wand again.
"Mucus ad Nauseam."
Another average casting. Sighing Sonas approaches a jar filled with water.  

[Nite of Storms]

Standing back so that the water won't splash her dress Sonas swishes her wand.
"Flippendo."She murmers her voice shaking from the cold. The spell backfires. Grimancing she sits down warming her hands by the fire.

After 5 minutes have passes Sonas leaves the glow of the fire to again cast her spell.
"Flippendo." The spell fails and she groans preparing to try again.
