The Alpha

[Devourer of Cupcakes]

"I am...it's hard to explain. From what I have read the Alpha never dies, she only hibernates while she waits for the one that can hold her." Alina looked around thinking she felt someone watching them.  

[NightWerewolf]

Nero thought about it for a few seconds. "I'd ask what the Alpha was exactly, but you probably can't tell me."

"I honestly shouldn't be telling you any of this, but I want someone to know I guess. You seem like someone I can trust." She shrugged and started eating.  

[NightWerewolf]

"Glad to hear it." Nero said happily and started to eat.

Alina ate the rest of her dinner in silence. When she finished she asked, "Are you good at dancing?"  

[NightWerewolf]

Nero looked at her as he finished his meal. "I'm okay, I wouldn't go as far as to say good though." He said with a soft chuckle.

"Really? Well I have no trouble saying I think I'm a great dancer." She blushed a little when she spoke next. "I used to practice in my room when the Old Ones went to sleep."  

[NightWerewolf]

"Glad to hear it. Maybe you can help me then." He smiled and caught the hint of a blush on her.  

[Devourer of Cupcakes]

"I've never taught anyone before...it should be fun or at the very least interesting," she said. Alina drank the last of her soda. "Would you like dessert?"

Nero nodded happily. "Sure, but you make it sound like you're paying for this meal." He smirked.

"Well I'm the one that asked and I'm not just going to assume that you'll pay. I think that would be kind of rude." Alina was beginning to think she had been away from society for too long.  

[NightWerewolf]

"Well if you don't mind I'd like to pay. Think of it as a welcome back gift."

Alina was going to protest but stopped. "Thank you," she said instead. The waiter came then with a tray filled with desserts. Alina chose a chocolate cake with strawberries and whipped cream. "What are you having Nero?"

"It's a pleasure." Nero said with a nod. "I'll have the sunday." He smiled.

The waiter took their orders and then left. "Have you heard anything about the upcoming Alpha test?" It was a test or more correct a fight to see who would be the new Alpha male. It happened every five years and the winner would become the new Alpha male and would rule the pack. Most believed that the Alpha male could lay claim to the Alpha female; this was going to be a problem for Alina this year. She had the right as the Alpha female to choose her mate.
