At least Texas accents are understandable. The Southern accent that is in all the states closest to Florida can be so difficult to understand sometimes.
I've always found it weird that not many people in Florida have Southern accents when we are just south of "The South."......Perhaps it's because about 2/5 of the families heard were originally Northerners or Canadians.

Greeny, what you don't understand here is that a Texas accent isn't understandable to the rest of the world, or at least according to television. That's what makes it funny! We take the mick out of people who can't do anything because they're from texas and people from texas are stupid. Or so television goes.

I know a girl who's first name is Rockin and her last name is Roll....making her Rockin Roll. I've always felt sorry for her because of that....
