Well, the Dutch TV didn't have a lot of English cartoons so I had to do with English shows such as Alf, Family Ties etc. But I really loved watching Heathcliff and the Samurai Pizza Cats as a child and that's how I learned a fair bit of English.
Then the Dutch TV raped all the good cartoons by adding Dutch voices. Ahh, the horror! gonk

Tales Spin
The Smurfs
The Snorkles (I think thats the right name)
Shiera
Conan
Jem (was my all time favorite)
What IS with the cartoons/kids shows now a days. Sponge Bob is funny, but it will never rank up that high with older cartoons.

Thevina Darkwing Duck Tales Spin The Smurfs The Snorkles (I think thats the right name) Shiera Conan Jem (was my all time favorite) What IS with the cartoons/kids shows now a days. Sponge Bob is funny, but it will never rank up that high with older cartoons. Now I will have Darkwing Duck theme song in my head all day... rofl Anyone a Rockos Modern Life fan? The Angry Beavers were not too shabby either. wink OMG my lil sis was all about Jem and the Holograms...Remember Barbie and the Rockers? The tried to be Jem but failed.

Personally, I loved Sailor Moon, Animaniacs, The Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show, Felix the Cat, Inspector Gadget, DarkWing Duck, Looney Tunes, Jetsons, Flinstones, Scooby Doo, Yogi Bear, Goosebumps, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Doug, Dexter... Hmm, can't really think of many others I *loved*. ^_^
Man, cartoons were actually good those days....

Lady_Yukana I can't remember the name of this one cartoon that had these Beverly Hills type characters and I used to get these 2 blondes confused. One was a city girl and one was sort of this country looking girl. Then there was one girl that had black hair. God I can't remember. >< Yes! Beverly Hills Teens, I used to love that show. I still remember that the country girl had her own horse and that it could count with it's hooves. I'm not sure why that stuck in my head.

If you think Ed, Edd, and Eddie is stupid than you didn't grow up in the 70's and 80'. I don't know who wrote the stuff but it had me laughing remembering some of the stuff kids did when I was growing up.

I like the really old cartoons. I buy them for a whole dvd of them for $1 most of the time. I love Betty Boop and Popeye and that kind of thing. I really miss things like the Flinstones, Jetsons, Bugs Bunny and friends, and Scoobie Doo. My kids at least know who all of those are. When they were little they liked Cowboys of Moo Mesa, Ed, Ed, And Eddie and they loved Ah Real Monsters until I banned it because my youngest one was so afraid a monster was going to pop out of the toilet that we had to take the toilet off the ring on the floor and show him that there was no way that a monster would pop out of it and he didn't have to pee his pants etc. any more.
