[Sirius Black-Snuffles]

Sirius hummed and nodded. "Hopefully empty--if the one we were in earlier isn't, I suppose we could claim one of the other ones for ourselves," he muttered. Finally he sighed and looked up at Remus.

"We're not getting any where with you sitting on top of me of course."  

[Ex-Professor Remus Lupin]

Remus smiled, moving off of Sirius and reaching for his clothes. Pulling on his trousers, he buttoned them and then looked about. "I seem to have lost a sock," he noticed, sifting through their clothes and tossing Sirius' clothes at him. "Any ideas?"  

[Sirius Black-Snuffles]

"It's gotta be in there some where..." Sirius mumbled getting up and slowly putting on his own clothes trying not to yawn again--damn Remus and his yawning. He grabbed his shirt and Remus' sock fell out of it. Rolling his eyes he tossed it at Remus' head.

"Found it."  

[Ex-Professor Remus Lupin]

"Thanks," Remus said, glaring at the offending item before he put it on. After that, he was able to shrug on his shirt, robes, and shoes, and was standing up, buttoning the shirt. "Ready?" he asked.  

[Sirius Black-Snuffles]

Sirius sighed and glanced around. "Yep, should we shrink the blanket and bring it with us?" he asked, looking up at Remus questioningly.  

[Ex-Professor Remus Lupin]

"Well, we can't leave it here," Remus said, crouching down and picking up the blanket, folding it carefully and laying it over his arm. "We don't need to shrink in though, I can carry it."  

[Sirius Black-Snuffles]

Sirius nodded and double checked his pockets to make sure he had the Invisablity Cloak. "Well, I guess that's everything. We'll apparate straight to the gates of the school and walk from there, yeah?"  

[Ex-Professor Remus Lupin]

"Certainly better than walking through the village," Remus said. "I'll meet you there."

Closing his eyes, he brought the image of the front gates. With a crack of magic, he Disapparated from outside of the Shrieking Shack and then Apparated before the gates.

(Random question? At what point does Disapparating become Apparating? I mean really?)

Sirius nodded and quickly disapparted. He grimaced as he appeared before the gates and shook his head. "I'll never get completely used to that feeling," he said.


((Well, I suppose to disapparate is "to go from here" and to apparate is "to arrive here" So...I don't know! Don't ask such things!))

(If there's one good thing that came out of HBP, its the description of the bloody gates. Even if Tonks was there and had to be all emo and annoying.)

Remus nodded, pulling out his wand and tapping the chains on the gate. His magical signature was still ingrained. The advantages to having been a professor, he didn't have to come back through the tunnels.

Pushing one of the gates open, he slid through the magical barrier to the other side, motioning for Sirius to follow him.

Hermione had just finished her sandwich when Professor McGonagall walked in, looking, as always, very stern. However, it seemed that she began looking more stern when she caught sight of Hermione.

"Ms. Granger, I would hope that as Head Girl, you would be able to keep a better eye on the curfew. Mr. Malfoy and Ms. Riddler have both made it into a dorm and while I have no qualms about any of you, though you are or were all of my house, taking up in the Hufflepuff dungeons, but I won't stand for you wandering about the castle or staying here."

Hermione just responded with a "Yes, sorry Professor." before she got up and hurriedly followed Kathryn and Gabriel out of the Great Hall. Of course she should have been paying closer attention to curfew. It was part of her duties to make sure people were in their common rooms by curfew. How could she have forgotten?

When she arrived in the common room, she immediately grabbed the book she was reading and plopped down in her customary spot by the fireplace, only looking up to say goodnight to Gabriel and, out of curiosity, see generally where he decided to go to sleep.

Sirius followed Remus and waited patiently for the other man to close the gates. He looked around the vast expanse of Hogwarts, the actual castle looming in the distance and sighed before taking a quick glance up at the moon. He could remember very clearly the last time he had been in that exact spot. He had been a dog, starved and frozen, staring up at the castle scared as he felt the dementors pass by him with only three thoughts on his mind: Kill Peter, Save Harry, Apologize to Remus. He shook his head trying to clear his mind and glanced over to Remus.

"Shall we?"

Dumbledore walked down the hallways quickly towards the dungeons. He reached the Slytherin dorm's entrance, waved benignly at the wall which opened for him without hesitance and walked into the common room. There sat Draco and Killashandra talking with one another.

"Pardon me, but Killashandra, if you could please come with me. Your family wants you home for a while, something about an aunt, or uncle...or maybe it was a dog. I'm not sure. Nothing too serious I would hope. I'm not entirely sure," he explained off-handedly. The girl jumped up and Dumbledore escorted her out of the common room, before the wall closed he turned and smiled at the Young Malfoy.

"Do sleep well tonight Draco..."  

[Orgazmic Coffdrop]

(Holy cow...i thought we were in our beds already, but alright your the boss *does a suave tounge click and snap*)
He sneered at dumbledore but replied "You too headmaster," remarkably polite.
