The basket was basically filled with candy, but Mel was meticulous in its building it almost made it look like there wasn't so much. She made sure everything even remained in its position with small bindings and nice positions. There was enough in here to last Solaris for awhile, even deeper inside, hidden inside a little package was one of Mel's sapphire earnings, and one of the few bits of original music she had ever composed. It was old and for the hope, but Solaris was nice enough to let her have one so Mel would do the same.
At the hug Mel was a bit surprised. It was a light hug, such a friendly hug. She could feel the warmth of her friends, and her body relaxed even more it was nice. Hugs were always so nice, Mel had no body heat of her own so the heat from a hug was great to her, and it showed that she had made Solaris happy. If she had a heart it would have skipped in happiness. She made sure to shift the basket into one hand to return to the hug as best she could before the girl pulled back and thanked her. Show bowed, this time as a way to say that Solaris was very welcome. This day was for Solaris, Mel was glad she could brighten it even a little.
When a male spoke Mel moved away a bit, even that small movement carrying little sound, but so graceful. She held the basket while Solaris tended to a inquiry. This whole thing reminded her of the celebrations in Troy during the performances. They were always so large and fun. It was good to see this wasn't a tradition that faded, especially for a friend, one of the first she has made in a long time.

The violinist's brows raised inquisitively at the question. It took her a few seconds before she shook her head in response. "Unfortunately, I don't see the person who fits that description. I'm so sorry." And then at Mel, she inquired. "Say, how about we perform together? That will be fun." Immediately, she grabbed the mic from the stands and her voice was loud as she questioned the crowd. "Do you guys mind the collaboration between me and Mel? Feel free to visit Sucre's Refinements if you want to have your sweet tooth satiated. That will help her a lot!"
The response from the crowd was a large applause, and she smiled, happy at the collective answer. "Ok, then. The two of us shall perform!"

Tyrese didn't at all get the show he expected he would. It all started with Solaris dancing as she played, which he'd never seen before from anyone who played an instrument. Then again, Solaris wasn't human. What supernatural did made the normal stuff look so...plain. And so for this case, it was grand, what he could watch once he and Sela were settled. Or they had been before he noticed a few momrenif his employees, one of which had a child a little older than his own. He chuckled as he welcomed them over, making sure Sela knew to stay close before letting her scurry off with the friendly brunette who followed behind his mother. They were able to chat about the performance, and what more, were surprised together as a male went up on stage! Tyrese had already noticed that Solaris looked slightly distracted before hand and had seen the...ice bender, blatantly flirting with her from the crowd. Was he supposed to be up there? The look on the angel's face said not. Since she didn't seem to mind it otherwise, unless that was her reaction while in stage or not, so the wolf only shook his head. It was rude, be it a romantic gesture or not.
When the man left, the show went on, he assumed, as planned. It concluded entirely well, and by then Sela was all but collapsed in his lap and dead asleep. He cleaned up their area and waved their coworkers goodbye. Some might catch Solaris before leaving, but she seemed to be lingering on stage while a few people straggled up to her. One bore a gift, a tall red head he recognized when he pass by the shop...mostly hoping to catch Finn. The other was a new face he hadn't seen at all. They looked to be talking as Tyrese gathered his daughter into his arms and shook out his blanket. He tossed it over his other arm and grabbed her backpack as well. When he thought maybe changing the oppruntunity to go up and speak, Solaris grabbed a mic and loudly announced an encore with her new friend. Today was certainly unexpected indeed. However, he couldn't stay tonhewr them both. He had lunch to make for his kid, a family to attend to. He'd text her that he'd given her tomorrow off, and have the flowers and card signed by the other employees and himself sent to her house.
He figured maybe she wouldn't see him wave, but he did so anyway before carrying Sela to the car and starting on his way home.

Solaris's smile remained wide as the basket was put down so that the harpist could summon her instrument. The harp, which was as majestic as the owner itself, shimmered under the glowing lights of the stage. But also, she glanced at her boss waving at her far away and she just smiled back, knowing that he had family matters to attend to with Sela in her father's arms. Now all that's left was the apparition together with the fallen angel, ready to give others a good time. Still gripping the microphone in one hand, she called out to the crowd. "Now feast your eyes and ears on the collaboration!" And with that, she fastened the mic onto the stand before stepping back, ready to show off together with her precious musician friend.
And as the song soared, Amadeus' stone glowed even brighter, together with the harmonic trills of the harp. The music flowed like silk across skin, inducing a pleasant feeling to the ears. During their encounters with each other, their emotional exchanges were always conveyed with music. Solaris was glad to have met that special ghost back then at the candy store, and though it had only been a month since moving into Soleil, her life there had been better, away from war and strife back home in Australia. Plus, with Xander encanting her, maybe she wouldn't be too far from reaching out towards love in that new place. There was nothing else but an vibrant explosion of colors as the song went on. Finally, when the song adjourned, the fallen angel was smiling alongside Mel.
And the cheering could be heard from within the expanse of the beach. Maybe those who were enjoying their time at Amour de la Mer would sense that, too.

Mel would indeed follow, taking only seconds to recognize the melody that Solaris was looking for. The "River Flows in You" was a song Mel had played many times and so as she played it one could see her skill, as her fingers plucked at the string with perfect prevision, the sound of the two instruments conducting a melody that would catch many in a state of awe.
As per usual, accompanied with Mel's playing where the sonokinetic constructs, creating the image a ball, people dancing lovingly surrounded by nature. Birds were even flying, it was clear that Mel carried a lot of power in her playing as the colorful display was set to enhance the show people, and they could even interact with it if they wished, bringing them into the performance in a way.
Mel was glad to be friends with the violinist, as she felt like she had met someone who understood her. They were connected by melody, and it worked perfectly, Solaris had..as far as she knew, yet to regard her with fear or hatred, being so kind to her. This was conveyed a bit through the music as Mel worked to complement the fallen angel, and complement her, the most colorful of the images being two friends who seemed only to support each-others dancing.
Mel was going to make sure this was perfect for her friend and so no mistakes would be made. The Harpist was perfect, the tones of her harp, the timing, the accompaniment was all it needed to be. Even Lelwani was doing her best to make sure it was good, with dancing and making sure peoples attentions stayed on them.
With it over Mel was smiling, glad that people had enjoyed it. Lelwani would land on her shoulder and chirp in her own cheer. Mel herself would clap for Solaris as both thanks, and as commendation for the work she put into all of this.

The violinist reveled in the sounds of applause from her fans, smiling widely at the reactions. She was certain that with that much popularity, it would be a matter of time before Soleil would become the ground of potential artists to shine. However, the progress wouldn't be that instantaneous, as she still had to discover more people who were on the same boat as hers. So far, Priya, Mel and Camil were on the list which would definitely grow with the passage of time. For now, she was content with the current company that she had throughout her time here in Soleil. But then, there was Xavier who was slowly going to advance on her, since she was labeled as his dove. Speaking of, she had to get going to his mansion. She approached the stand and picked up the mic. "I would like to thank everyone who made this concert a success. It was my dream to be known to the world ever since the day I moved into this beautiful city. Expect more stuff from me in future. For now, I shall depart. Till the next concert, guys!" And with that, the cheering became louder as she left the stage together with Mel, but not without taking the basket with her.
After a short while, the manager asked where she would like to take the gifts. She, now back in her normal clothes but still deciding to keep the outfit and boots with her, simply mentioned that they would be transported to her house at Etoile since she had given the person the address as a guide for direction. However, being a violinist who chose to discover her own path, she decided that going to greater heights on stage can wait a bit. After all, she still had her job as a chef to worry about. At Mel and Lelwani, she simply waved at them both goodbye, knowing that it was finally time for her to meet up with Xander. And with that, the girl of the hour left the beach with the limo being the escort vehicle to take her to Lumiere, simply because she had to.

After leaving the bar that night Skye stumbled around a bit before she found herself on the beach. After making a crappy looking sand castle, she pulled off her shoes and buried her toes in the sand, giggling as she looked up at the moon and the waves crashing against the sand. She sat there all night, staring at the moon and being mesmerized by the waves. Eventually the raven haired woman was sprawled out on the sand where she promptly passed out, using her bag as a pillow. When the sun rose the next morning, she scrunched her face up and groaned as she threw her arm over her eyes to try and block out the sun, but soon enough she was woken by someone touching her. "What the hell.. Get away creep!" She said, thinking someone was trying to sexually harass her. When she opened her eyes, she screamed and started flailing her arms as she saw a seagull sitting on her. "Get away you nasty beast!" She yelled, glaring at the bird as it flew away. The raven haired young woman then groaned a little bit as she realized she had sand on her clothes. "Disgusting." She grumped as she stood up, brushing the sand off of herself. Oh man, how drunk had she gotten last night? Well, obviously drunk enough to pass out on the beach. She remembered sitting at the bar with the white haired male that she vaguely remembered as being attractive despite the two of them not talking too much. She couldn't even remember if they had told each other their names or not. Oh well. It wasn't that big of a city, so there was a chance they might meet again. Shaking her head a bit, Skye headed closer to where the water touched the shore. Well, while she was here, she might as well enjoy the beach some more, even if the weather was pretty crappy. Sitting down on a large rock, she smiled a little as she buried her toes into the sand.

Skye watched the water, smiling a bit as she buried her toes in the cool sand. The raven haired woman watched as a sand dollar was washed up onto the shore and tilted her head to the side a little. Hmm, maybe one day she would bring a bucket with her and collect some sand dollars and seashells. That would be nice. The woman then blinked and looked up as she heard a voice behind her. Turning, she tilted her head a little bit before smiling as she saw the white haired male from last night. "Well, hello again." She said before eyeing the water bottle he offered her. "Thanks." She said, taking the water bottle from him and removing the lid before chugging down some of the water. It was pretty good after a night of drinking. She had just recently turned 21, so she wasn't really used to drinking like she did that night, but she wanted to celebrate moving to the town and to drink away some bad memories. Lowering the water bottle, she then looked at him and smiled a little again. "I don't remember if I introduced myself to you or not, but I'm Skye." She introduced herself.
