David continued tracking the snitch across the field. As he did so he thought of Shayna and how he’d have to go against her if he made the main team. Sure he’d always prepared for it before but now it seemed much more likely. David was so focused on the snitch he hadn’t noticed that his competition had arrived. So much for try-outs going easy for him… Not that he didn’t want an actually challenge. Being the way he was David would have preferred fighting for his spot then it just being handed to him anyways.

Veronica took note of the first year, Danica, who had the quaffle. The girl was doing well and she had failed to hit Danica before. Time to take another chance, Ronna decided, aiming at Danica.

Toby was somewhat appeased by landing a hit on Xavier, but his attention was caught by Ronna sending a beater towards a blonde first year. He couldn't recall the girl's name, but he felt obligated to try and stop the bludger if he could, since he was close by. He flew towards it and tried to hit it away from the girl and towards Tanya. She was a third year; he figured she could take the hit.

I want to be the kind of person that people will write songs about.

Veronica frowned slightly when Toby blocked her hit and saw the bludger be redirected towards Tanya. She raced forward hoping to save her teammate as successfully as Toby did for Danica, and redirect the bludger back at Danica.

So many things happened. After Xavier threw the quaffle, he heard the buzzing of the bludgers. But he knew it was Ronna so it was okay. But suddenly, pain shot through his right thigh. He hissed through gritted teeth, clutching his broom tighter. No, he wouldn't dare touch that thigh. His right leg dangled helplessly. He looked to his right to see Ronna, and by the looks of it, she was trying to block the bludger. When he looked back at the posts he saw his shot went through. Okay he can do this. Alexandria passed the ball to the first year, and though Xavier just wanted to rest for a little while, he went after her.

Seriously, I miss another save? What is wrong with me?

Veronica winced as she failed to reach the bludger in time for a second time and watched as it came whizzing towards Tanya to make impact. She turned, searching for the quaffle with her eyes as she listened for where either of the bludgers was. Xavier had stolen the quaffle and then it was stolen back by the other team-this time Rosabella.

Xavier was still looking for Tanya and Celaena, and when he was about to head forward, he tried clutching the ball tighter. But he didn't feel anything. He look at his arm to see nothing. Oh crap. He frantically headed the the opposite direction, and saw the quaffle being held by Rosabella. Darn. He didn't even feel it. Disappointed with himself, he tried to get the quaffle back.

David was just about there as he reached his hand out for the golden ball. Inching closer and closer all he had to do was go for it. Mentally he imagined it and physically he wanted to feel it. Nothing would feel better then catching the snitch without having to worry about anything else.

Leonette watched as the ball was stolen, taken, and then stolen again. With that she had to act fast. Racing after Xavier she tried her best to get a hold of the quaffle. Her team needed that back. She may have been hurt but she wasn't out and nothing was going to stop her getting that ball back... Then again Xavier's skill just might...
