She opened her eyes and looked at him before nodding. Alright, I will. she replied. Only to stand up and started to rub her back. Of course she looked around the room and started to hum.

Jennifer saw her mother stand up and she rushed over and hugged her leg. Jennifer looked up and smiled at Abigail."Boo!"She then ran and hid under her blanket giggling all the while.

She braced herself when Jennifer suddenly hugged her leg. Of course she smiled and giggled a bit herself, as she watched her daughter hid under the blanket. Now she walked over to the blanket, tip toeing. Not caring if Jennifer saw her, as her own smile grown. Only to kneel by her blanket covered daughter and started to tickle her sides.

Jennifer laughed harder now as she felt herself being tickled. She started to wriggle as Abigail tickled her. Eventually she got away from Abigail and ran. Jennifer started hiding behind anything she could. If Abigail got close Jennifer would start to laugh.

She smiled and chased Jennifer well ignoring the pain in her lower back. Of course she was giggling well hearing her daughter laugh. If she was not giggling she was just smiling and enjoying this. Yet when she heard the giggling come from outside, she teleported out there. Only to look around, and now remembering the dogmen.

Jennifer was hiding behind a tree as Abigail was searching for her. She heard a low growl coming from a distance behind her. Jennifer looked to where she heard the growl and saw the huge form of a dogman. Jennifer looked quizzically for a second before it snarled and ran towards her. Jennifer yelled and started to run back to the house.

She heard Jennifer yell and used her speed to close the distance between her and her daughter. Of course she was kneeling on the ground now and holding Jennifer firmly against her. Her body was starting to protest now. Yet she felt anger start to coarse through her body and aura. Not at her daughter, but mostly at these monsters. It was her fault for not warning Jennifer of these dangerous things. "Jennifer, baby, close your eyes and cover your ears. Cause I don't want you to see this.", she said in a serious voice. As she ignored the pain of her standing up with Jennifer in her arms.

As Abigail was holding Jennifer now, four Dogmen ran past them. Of course they were trying to attack the barriers and wards. But it resulted in weird thud like sounds. Attacks were bouncing off, if not throwing the Dogmen back. Now a couple of them gone and started to attack the power pole on the edge of the property. Yet when three Dogmen surrounded her and Jennifer, she felt a growl of her own leave her. As her finger nails started to turn into claws.

Jennifer closed her eyes and covered her ears as Abigail had said. Her eyes were tightly closed.

Lucius was sitting down in his bed and was reading. He felt an aura of anger and knew that Abigail was angered. He put the book down and rushed outside. He saw the dogmen were surrounding her and he saw some of the dogmen heading for the power lines. He knew that Abigail could handle herself.

The three dogmen were slowly circling the woman and infant. They sensed that the woman was dangerous but the numbers were on their side. Snarling they slowly circled the pair and were waiting for an opportunity to strike.

Two of the dogmen sensed Lucius come outside and rushed towards him.

The two other dogmen gone and dodged the way out of the falling power pole. Followed by rushing towards the barriers again.

Abigail bared her own teeth at the dogmen as she felt her own growl grow deeper and more dangerous. "Lucius, come and take Jennifer into the house. I have to make an example of one of these things.", she said. Before teleporting a few feet closer to the house, yet still outside of the barrier. Since she did not want to use up to much 'mana' just yet. Though after Lucius appeared and took Jennifer, she rushed the one that was in front of her. Of course she was moving about fast as she had when sparring Damian with the staves. She was careful to avoid claws when she could. Not noticing how her much anger her aura was holding now. Nor how she was growling and getting a few hits in on the one dogman. But she was ducking and weaving just barely from the two other dogmens attacks.

Lucius rushed forwards and summoned his own favorite weapon which was a greatsword. He struck quickly enough that he decapitated one of the dogmen. He dodged out of the way of the second ones bit and stabbed the creature. He pulled his sword lose and then heard Abigail. He wanted to finish off the other dogmen but he knew that protecting Jennifer was more important. He took hold of Jennifer and placed his sword where she could get it. He then rushed back into the house carrying Jennifer.

The dogmen snarled as the woman fought back. The child was taken by another adult although this one was a male. The dogmen also sensed that two of it's pack were slain. It's fury was sparked and now the three launched a simultaneous attack.

The two dogmen that were attacking the barrier tried to bum rush Lucius. Only to crash into the barrier, before getting flung back. Stunned they laid there for a moment.

Abigail noticed that Lucius had left a greatsword behind. At the last second she teleported into a tree. Of course she used it as a fake out, once they started to run that way. She allowed herself to teleport back towards the sword. It was clear that she was not used to holding the great sword. Before the dogmen could reach her, she summoned Relen's two short swords; that got left behind. Now she started to move like she was trained. Yet when one of them landed a hit, it would be their last. In a matter of seconds, if not two minutes.

I'll let you pick out what kind of injuries she has and where they are. I figure that the fight lasted for one minute at the least, two at the most.

Lucius kept hold of Jennifer as the child started to hold on to him even harder. After a few minutes Lucius felt the aura of Abigail diminish. He was still holding Jennifer as he went to investigate what had happened. When he walked out he saw that Abigail had finished off the remaining dogmen. He stood next to her and looked her over. He noticed the claw mark on her right shoulder and left leg."The wounds don't seem to bad but are you okay? You are feeling alright?"Jennifer squirmed in his hold and was reaching for Abigail. She had tears in her eyes but wasn't vocally crying.

The last two dogmen started to gather up their dead and run off.

Abigail knelt on the ground and sent the bloody short swords back to the training room. Now she noticed that she was panting. "Let's get inside, I need to clean them up. I'll answer how I feel in there.", she said, in a monotone voice. Since she was trying to get the slight growl out of her voice. Of course she now took Jennifer onto her right hip and teleported into the one bathroom. As her tank top was ripped with her following yoga pants. Right now she kept Jennifer in her lap as she balanced on the closed toilet. Though she would gasp and hiss when her wounds were getting cleaned.

Lucius nodded and when they teleported to the bathroom Lucius immediately started to get the first aid pack. When he had what he needed he started to patch up Abigail.

Jennifer was holding on tightly to Abigail. She didn't know why those things attacked but she was scared of both those creatures and how her mother was hurt.

She finally started to relax and kiss the top of Jennifer's head. "Are you okay, my little one? Those bad monsters are gone now.", she asked Jennifer. It was in her Motherly voice once again. It was clear that she was getting her more 'humane' side back. Since she was not used to fighting like a devil, so to speak. "Do I need stitches?", she asked her brother-in-law-to-be, well glancing at him. Of course she knew that Damian would be annoyed that she didn't 'page' him. But she was more worried about the moment of trying to get Jennifer out of there. Before killing the things that were threatening their child.
