GIkishou got him some punch. "Here, it's a little sweet, but the sugar might held, and it's best to get it before people our in alcohol." He told him, drinking some.

Kyo accepted the punch, drinking a bit of it. It was indeed sweet, but he wasn't exactly interested in it. To be polite, however, he just held it in his hands, though without much intention of drinking the rest of it.

Gikishou fought down a sigh, but didn't let it show. "Do you want to sit down?" He asked, gesturing to the tables. He hoped this moment of awkwardness would pass soon.

"I'm fine with standing," Kyo said a little hurriedly. "Besides, there might not be enough tables for everyone to sit at and there are people who need the chairs more than we do."

Gikishou kissed the top of his head. "There'll be plenty of chairs for everyone, but if you're sure."He stood with him, hoping SOMETHING would happen that they both could do and enjoy.

Suddenly, Kyo was aware of a change in music. He was sure that the current music playing, which wasn't as loud and quick-paced as the first, was an end song for a movie he had seen at some elementary school party. What movie was it? Anastasia, probably?

GIkishou smiled. "Do you want to dance? I'll lead." He said, offering his hand. After all, this wasn't a rap song about sex and groping, it was a song for more sophisticated dancing.

Kyo nodded, blushing at the thought of dancing. He was afraid of how people would react seeing them. Usually in high schools, girls and boys danced together, so seeing two boys dancing just seemed very strange. This worry, however, didn't change the fact that he indeed wanted to dance.

Gikishou gentl took his hand and wrapped an arm around his waist."Put your other hand on my arm... there we go... now just let me lead, okay?"He carefully danced with him, smiling and noticing how, though guys looked at them a little strangely, all the girls seemed to think it was cute. Once the dance was over, a few came over. "Hey, we just wanted to let you know that... we're on your side! We like your relationship, and just wanted to let you know that you have some friends in the school." They said, and Gikishou smiled, nodding. They went back to their respective dance partners and resumed dancing.

Kyo felt a bit awkward dancing, but that was mainly because he didn't know how. He was glad that some people, specifically girls, were okay with their relationship. The time here started out quite well, but it was still very early and anything could happen.

More people began coming in, the girls in a variety of dresses that varied in color, length, size, and styles. Some far less modest than others.

Now the room seemed a little crowded with more people, but Kyo didn't bother to say anything. Crowded dances were probably normal, or so he believed.

Gikishou sighed, seeing all the people crowding the dance floor as the rap and hip-hop music came back on. He would never understand how people liked that stuff.

As people came onto the dance floor, Kyo grew really uncomfortable just seeing so many people gathered in one large crowd. The room suddenly looked smaller and he wanted to leave for a while.

Gikishou noticed and lead him to the front, letting them know that they just needed some air and walked outside with him. "Better?"
