One of the other boys snagged the Quaffle before Dani could lay a finger on it, and started flying toward the goal. Without a second's hesitation, Dani launched herself after the older student, with the intent of punching the Quaffle out of his grasp.

Veronica heard the familiar buzz mixed with a whistle of a nearby bludger and She smiled as the game began-the ball being held by Xavier but Rosabella was quickly following reaching out for the steal. Rosabella had just made herself Veronica's first target, besides it seemed better than aiming at random.

Tanya blushed more since the older boy was taking it so well and gave a nervous awkward chuckle as he stated that since they were teammates they should share in the pain. Gods she did not need this distraction when she was about to fly meters into the air with giant whizzing iron balls flying after her! Apparently Eli didn't get the message when she placed her and him on the same team, thankfully he was a keeper so she wouldn't have to fly too close to him. But, she wasn't captain or had near enough seniority to complain so she just jumped on her broom and flew off in pursuit. She saw that the first year had actually stolen the quaffle away from Xavier and flew over with her arm outstretched to try and steal it back.

Xavier was, well, flying normally, until a second year tried to steal. He dodged, but then, from out of nowhere, the first year, Dani, caught him off guard and managed to steal the ball from him. He was gonna chase after her when Tanya managed to steal the ball away. "Nice one Tanya!" he cheered as he flew beside her. ...that sounded a bit rude... or maybe it's just in his mind but... What in the world is he thinking now?

Leonette listened to the instructions for todays try-outs. One the word go she hopped onto her broom without a second thought. Watching as her teammates seemed to be doing quite well including the first year she watched at Tanya took the quaffle. That was her cue to get in there and help the team out. Flying after her she came in close attempting to steal the ball back.

“Right,” David smiled and gave a light nod to Elli before getting on his broom. He caught Xavier’s smile and thumbs up and returned it with equal believe that his friend would make the team. David would have to admit though that he was surprised Eun wasn’t there to take back is spot on the team. Maybe he was running late? Hopefully everything was alright. For now he’d focus on the task at hand finding the snitch and getting in a good practice for the upcoming year. At least that was if Eun didn’t show up that is…

Grabbing the quaffle from her friend Leonette smiled. She wasn't going to get cocky when it came to Quidditch but she was proud to be able to hold her own in her all time favourite game. Though Leonette would try and keep herself a calm player during the try-outs after all there were no guarantees in Quidditch. Making her way down the field Leonette hoped to remain in possession of the quaffle thought with Xavier on the other team that could prove to be difficult.

Before Dani was able to secure the Quaffle, another girl, one with long, dark curly hair and cafe au lait skin reached out and knocked the malformed spheroid from her clutches. Dani leaned forward on her broom and attempted to gain the Quaffle back before her more experienced opponent could get out of reach

He echoed the names of his teammates as they were announced out. Xavier, Tanya, Caleana, Ronna... Ronna. He paused, shook his head and moved to one side of the pitch to join the others. A small nod of encouragement spurned him to hoist one leg around his broomstick and launch high into the air. At the last minute, another first year joined the second team. The next time he glanced back, the quaffle was stolen and in the hands of Xavier. Then it slid, back and forth effortlessly from hand to hand and he reclined his broom, hovering directly over his goal posts, and kept an eye on the game.

The twelve year old missed it since the girls showed up after everyone had already soared into the air for the tryouts. Just then, a bludger zoomed past her, and Rosabella didn't even have to look to know Veronica sent it over. After all, she was the only beater on the opposing team. Tanya had snatched the quaffle from the firstie, but then Leonette grabbed it, and Xavier grabbed it back The game was going too quickly for the twelve year old to keep up, but she did her best by flying after the older boy and attempting to push the ball out of his hands.

Really? That was kind of bad...at least I didn't hit myself

Veronica sighed realizing after she hit it that she had the trajectory of the bludger off, and end up missing Rosabella, though, Rosabella did miss stealing the quaffle, only to have the first year steal it for the team. Then Tanya took it back, Leonette took it from Tanya... back to Xavier (her team)... She calculated who might be the biggest danger to try to steal the quaffle back as she flew towards the nearest bludger to make a hit.
