Demon x Kunoichi [Private]

[Alright.]

Bomani woke slowly the next morning. His mind started to piece together the night before, and he smiled softly, seeing his child in Chione's arms. An idea came to him...the sun hadn't risen yet.
He gently took Anpu from her arms and kissed her on the cheek. "I'm taking Anpu outside for a moment." he said softly, walking over to the balcony with his child, who woke in his arms.
"Welcome to the world, Anpu." he said softly, as the sun began to rise.  

[Kunoichi Haruhi]

Minutes later Chione woke, beginning to rub her eyes. She then realized that she felt cold, and she wasn't holding the baby. "Anpu...?" She called drowsily, then looked around, noticing her husband also wasn't there. "Bomani?" She called again, turning. She then began to panic, and was about to get off the bed despite instructions not to walk for at least two days after giving birth. However, she stopped herself, seeing the two on the balcony.

Bomani turned to see Chione and winced. "Sorry..." he said softly. "I just wanted to show Anpu the sunrise." he explained. As if on cue, the baby made a noise, almost a whine, and Bomani smiled, walking over to return him to his mother. "I think he's hungry."  

[Kunoichi Haruhi]

Chione sighed with relief. "It's alright. I guess I just went ahead of myself." She said, preparing to breastfeed the baby again. As she received the baby she moved to the side, offering Bomani some room. "Did you like the sunrise, Anpu?" She asked their son, who immediately began to suck.

"I wish my parents could see this..." Bomani said softly. "The child, I mean." he corrected with a soft chuckle.  

[Kunoichi Haruhi]

As she held the baby, Chione looked up at her husband. "I'm sure they will be coming around soon, right?" She wondered aloud. Then, almost as if on cue, three hard knocks could be heard at the door. Looking in the direction of the sound Chione smiled. "Who would be knocking this early in the morning?" She said.

Little did she know two soldiers were at their doorstep, sent from where she belonged.

"Hopefully." Bomani said. When there was a knock at the door, he shrugged and got up. "I'll go see." he said, heading toward the door. He opened them up to see two soldiers standing there, wearing vaguely familiar armour.
"Can I help you?"  

[Kunoichi Haruhi]

The soldiers took no time in explaining their reason for being there. "Bomani," one soldier began, "the state of the palace had been in disorder and you were orderedto take the Princess to safety. Now that the rebellion has been crushed and all is back in order, we have orders from the Pharaoh to escort you and the Princess back to Egypt."

"There she will take her rightful place as the heir to the Egyptian throne, and you will be relieved of your duties." The other added, and awaited a response.

Bomani stared at them for a moment. Damn, they were good. How'd they find them?
"Can you come inside, for a moment, please? There's something I must show you." he said softly. "Something that may make the road...difficult." he added, turning around and heading inside, beckoning the soldiers to follow him, as he went to their bed chambers.  

[Kunoichi Haruhi]

The soldiers followed him, another two men were awaiting outside the house. As they followed him Chione had finished feeding their son. "There, feel better?" She asked Anpu, who only responded with wide eyes. Hearing more than one pair of feet Chione turned, seeing who was coming. Her eyes widened, recognizing their armor. Oh...

"Chione, these fine young gentlemen are here to escort us back to the palace." Bomani explained, sitting next to her. "Gentlemen...Chione, and Anpu." he introduced them.  

[Kunoichi Haruhi]

The soldiers merely stood there, surprised not only by the disheveled appearance of the Princess, but also by the bundle in their arms. Silence gave way in the room until Anpu made what sounded like a gurgling noise. Chione immediately diverted her attention to the baby, but then found the noise to be natural.

"This child is yours, Princess?" One soldier asked.
"Yes, which is why his name is Anpu." She replied simply. The other soldier then sighed, turning.
"And when did this child enter the world of the living?"
"Last night."
Both soldiers paused, and the one who had turned then spoke.
"We will allow three days for packing and your recovery. Then, we will carry our duty in bringing you back to the Palace."

"I must only ask that you take us back as quickly as possible...I don't want my son to be exposed to the harsh desert for longer than need be." Bomani requested.  

[Kunoichi Haruhi]

The soldiers nodded, but said nothing more. "Three days." One repeated, before leaving the house. When they were outside they made their way back to camp. Once they were out of earshot of the house one spoke.
"As soon as we finish our duty, I amd thinking of leaving. There's going to be a problem once the Lady arrives home..."

Back in the house Chione looked up to Bomani. "Wait...we're going back?" She asked. She felt happy, then sad, and then afraid. Yes, she felt glad that she could return home, meaning that everyone was alright. But, what about their house...the home that her husband had built? And the child...?

"What else can we do, Chione?" Bomani asked softly. "I can't go against their orders safely. We'll sell the house and take the money with us. I'll see if we can find my parents later..." he said.
"We'll live int he palace together. Your father cannot be heartless enough to separate the parents and their child." he added.
