I believe it was named after Teddy Roosevelt, who loved stuffed bears, and so the name Teddy Bear stuck. At least I think that's right.

Tough choice. I have to choose puzzles. I still have a lot of trouble with a Rubik's Cube, and it ends up pissing me off.
