Gikishou grinned. "I'd give you one of mine, but they'd all be to big. We'll leave for a shop nearby that lets you rent or buy tux's." He told him, kissing his hair. "Guys have it easy. It's not too hard to pick a passable tux, but girls can spend hours on dresses."

"Then I'm glad that I'm a guy," Kyo said with a smile. "I definitely wouldn't want to spend hours just looking for something to wear." He didn't really understand why girls would just fuss over clothes for hours. Any combination of clothes should look okay, so what was the point?

Gikishou smiled. "Dances are important to them. That's one of the times where they feel like princesses, or special. Not only that, but it has to be a perfect dress for them that makes them look flattering as well as matches the outfit of their date. Guys usually wear a certain color theme, like a green tie or something so that the girls have something to go on." He explained, standing and wrapping an arm around him. "Speaking of outfits, we should go to that store and rent you a tux."

Kyo didn't say anything after that and just nodded. He didn't want to talk about the subject anymore. It would be like repeating a question or a sentence over and over again if they kept talking about it.

Gikishou took his hand, kissing his hair and taking him to the store after both of them got dressed in fresh clothes and got ready. He drove him to the store and went in with him.

Kyo looked around at the many different clothes with a lot of colors. His eyes were always caught on some light blue suits, but maybe they weren't appropriate to wear to a prom. Not many people wore colored suits to formal events.

Gikishou noticed and smiled. "If you want a blue one, we can get one for you. That should be okay. It's formal, but it's still a high school dance."

"Is it really okay?" Kyo asked, a little skeptical. "I've never heard of dances in which someone wears a blue suit. I thought only dark colored suits were allowed at formal events."

"If you want, I'll ask a friend of mine the definition of formal for dances." He offered, getting out his phone and sending him a text. 'Yo, what's the definition for 'forma attire' at our school? Kyo's skeptical about whether light colored tux's are allowed.' He sent the text and waited for the response. 'The only requirement for men is dress pants, dress shoes, and A tux. No specifications on color.' Gikishou smiled. "See. I guess they just like wearing dark ones."

"Oh, I see," Kyo said, nodding. "Maybe light colors aren't all that popular nowadays." He looked back at the light blue suit, which now seemed a little less strange to him.

Gikishou signed up to rent it for the night, smiling and handing it to him. "It's yours for tonight." He told him, kissing his forehead. The man came up and smiled. "Actually, for just an extra twenty, it's yours. Not many like it, and those that do usually don't fit it."

"I guess the suit isn't for everyone, huh?" Kyo asked, shrugging. "It looked interesting when I saw it, but I was worried that I wouldn't fit in if I wear it. Anyhow, I guess I'm just one of the few people who like it."

The man nodded and waved as they left, but not before giving him some dress pants as well for about thirty dollars, which Gikishou paid easily. Allowances were great to have. He strapped Kyo into the truck and kissed his cheek before getting in on the drivers side.

Even now Kyo felt guilty. Maybe he should have gotten a job and paid for the suit on his own. It would probably have been better than having Giki-san pay for it instead, since it seemed that Kyo had been taking advantage of his love for him or something like that.

Gikishou noticed and pulled into the driveway, home. He unbuckled and looked at Kyo."What's wrong?" He asked gently, smiling soothingly.
