εviε "I assumed as much...but I was hoping that I'd at least be able to hold it back a little better." Evie frowned and she too finished off the mug of ale. If Iago was giddy then she was hysterical. The girl covered her mouth with both hands to hold herself back from laughing too much but the effort was wasted....and so was she.
"I blame you for this Iago. I feel...insanely carefree."

Iago laughed, ordering two more ales...the only others ones he'd buy that day. Oh, and they were of usual strength, too. He brought them to the table, handed her one, and smiled, clinking his mug against hers before taking a sip.

εviε Evie sat in her chair, looking around at the other people in the tavern as Iago got up to go somewhere. She wasn't paying much attention to them as she usually would have been but that was due to the alcohol in her system. When Iago returned, he had another mug for her and she looked at him with widened eyes.
"You MUST have a plan then if you plan on getting me drunk..." Evie eyed him warily, though it was mostly for play. She knew Iago would never try anything of the sort on her, it was just her teasing him while she took a sip of ale from her mug.

"Not at all..." Iago said with a chuckle, taking another sip. "I just wanted to see you get drunk, just once." he teased with a mischievous grin, reaching over and tousling her hair a bit.

εviε Evie shook her head with a wry smile and took another sip from her mug.
"That worries me." She smiled and set down her mug to fix up her hair after Iago had messed it up. Her eyes narrowed as she did so, trying her best to look as menacing as possible which was...a failed attempt to say the least.

Iago smiled. "Why? I'm not going to take advantage of you, I'm just curious." he explained, feeling a tiny bit dizzy but mostly giddy and carefree. He took a long sip of his ale and smiled again.

εviε Evie smiled and drank the remainder of the ale in her mug. If she had another, she probably wouldn't have been able to function. She blinked hard, her vision becoming a little blurry.
"I've never been drunk before..." Evie smiled giddily. She got up and made her way to Iago. She sat down upon his lap and ran her hands up and down his chest.
"Never again." Evie giggled and kissed Iago on the cheek.

Iago grinned, wrapping his arms around her waist. "Fine by me." he said. He kissed her on the neck, nipping at her earlobe just to tease her. "Ready to head back?" he asked.

εviε Evie liked it when Iago wrapped his strong arms around her. It always made her feel safe and secure, especially since she felt vulnerable drunk. She slid off of his lap and held out her hand to him.
"Sure, let's go." Evie smiled, still very buzzed from the drinks she'd had.

Iago stood up and offered her his arm instead of taking her hand. It would probably help keep her steadier. He led her out of the tavern and into the street, heading toward the castle.

εviε Evie took Iago's arm and followed him outside and onto the street. The fresh air outside cleared her head up a little bit but she still felt giddy and lightheaded. There were things that caught her eye that made her giggle that usually wouldn't have.
"So...is this to your liking?" Evie wondered aloud, her big green eyes turning towards Iago.

Iago chuckled. "A little bit. It's kinda fun getting a little drunk." he said. He liked that feeling of carefree lightheadedness. It made him feel like nothing would ever go wrong, ever.
He just hoped they wouldn't be hung over in the morning. That would suck.

εviε Evie smiled and continued on their way to the castle. The hulking mass of stone loomed ever closer and she wondered if the King and Queen would agree to help her...she dearly hoped so but at the moment her mind was so jumbled, it was hard to get her thoughts together.
"I've never been like this before...it's sort of enjoyable I suppose." Evie giggled again and felt the path go from dirt to stone, signaling that they had come upon the castle grounds.

Iago laughed and let out a hiccup. "Oh, dear, I think we had too much." he said with another laugh. He led her up to the doors and opened them, and started toward their room. Hopefully Ranon and the King and Queen wouldn't call them until later that day when they had a chance to sober up.

εviε Evie looked to Iago when he hiccuped and she broke out into a fit of laughter. She had to cover her mouth so she wouldn't draw attention to the pair. When she reached their room, the girl pulled open the door and let go of Iago's arm so that she could go to the bed. Evie flopped down on the bed and started giggling at the ceiling.
"This has been quite enjoyable." Evie said between fits of laughter.
