Sho quickly jumped away from the back kick but was surprised when Marcus turned to him with an Orange aura around his fist,
"CRUDDD!!"
He managed to raise his hands to cushion the blow but the power of the blow crushed his guard and sent him flying across the room to land in a heap in the corner. He slowly stood and muttered,
"Looks like it's not a friendly anymore."
He flexed his arms and tried to summon some of the energy that he felt fighting Nicholas, he only succeeded in a small area around his fist. He ran at Marcus and as he got closer he slided so he would stop next to Marcus and punch him in the gut.

((Eventually, that's what clans of evil and clans of good do, right? rofl ))"Then you're quite lucky as hordes of them run this place." Lillymon rested her hands on her hips and shook her head. She slowly started to realize that she was holding them up. "But... that being said, I'd suggest you get out of here, it's not really safe here. You never know what evil you might run into to." Her voice became serious as if she were dropping hints for him and his friend to pick up on.Ocelot picked up a scent of chaotic energy coming from a short distance from them. He stopped when the veemon and wormmon approached him. "Nothing that concerns you." He didn't make eye contact with them, but with lillymon to let her know that they needed to move.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ((In the center)) The fist came at Marcus with a light coding of digisoul. Marcus quickly grabbed the punch that was obviously going for his gut, a personal favorite of most people that he fought. After catching the fist, he twisted Sho's hand behind him and held the arm up to the point of popping it out of its socket. "Nice start you have there, it's raw of course, but it's good to. Your buddies would be rather envious of you and this power you've acquired." From there, Marcus hinted that he knew a little about Sho, where he came from, and the companions that he met along the way, a rather cheerful bunch. "Alright then..." Marcus let go of Sho's arm and then kicked him away. "I've gotten everything that I needed to learn from you, relax for a bit." Marcus had a rather aggressive smile on him as he started to walk towards Chris. "Now to deal with the late bloomer of here." Marcus punched an orange fist into an orange hand and popped his knuckles. Gaomon's nostrils flared as a certain scent hit him in the nose. "Someone is coming." He whispered softly to Leomon and ChaosWarGreymon."I know... they seek Marcus for some reason."The ChaosWarGreymon listened, but was silent, choosing not to say anything on the matter but be prepared for the worst. The other members were too drown in the fight so notice anything out of the ordinary and with their digimon safely held within digivices, they wouldn't have known either.

"The only evil I've seen was some guy and his Terriermon. Other than that everything was fine.", replied Nicholas who then laughed at his joke about Sho because he was quite strange. He then wondered why she suddenly changed tone. Nicholas felt a sudden chill as he felt the chaotic energy but seeing as he was quite new to the digi world he didn't know what it was. Blitz looked at Ocelot. "Whatever.", asked Blitz. George asked, "Nick I think we should do what Jou said.". WereGarurumon felt the chaotic energy as well. It was different, very different. He slowly moved around jumping from tree to tree to try and find this energy. ((ooc: 3nodding ))

The arm twisting made Sho cringe but he'd been through enough pain to stand it, however, it surprised him that Marcus knew his past "friends" and he began to wonder just how much Marcus knew.
"What do you know of me?"
Terriermon ran across the room and leapt back onto Sho's shoulder.

Chris watched what Marcus had done to Sho and was surprised, he had to admit this Marcus was different from the one he remembered. He gave Marcus an unimpressed look "So its my turn?" He asked. He smirked "I suppose I should be worried, after all you've shown you can beat me in a fight" He said. As Marcus walked towards him Chris yawned for a moment waiting to see what he'd do.

"We know quite a bit about you. It comes with the process of implanting ChaosSoul. We dive into you memories and pull on certain ones that provide the most energy to complete the reaction. We know about how you entered the digital world and we also know of your rivalry with some person by the name of Jai." She chuckled. "If you would like the strength to combat him and win, we can give you that."Marcus continued to walk towards Chris and smirked at the yawn. He moved till he was right next to Chris and began to whisper into the boy's ear. "If I didn't know any better from the way you're adjusting, I'd say that you want this for quite a while... to be corrupted that is." He sighed. "Too bad you didn't get your way, your precious Marcus is as good as gone and it's your fault." Marcus took a step back from Chris with a look of disdain screwing with his face. "You're quite sad, pathetic... I can't believe how much I gave up for you and you give in so easily. What happened to that drive to win that you had?" In an instant, a knee would be given to Chris's gut.

"Fine we'll go.", said Nicholas who then put Blitz and George back in their digivices and walked off with Serafina close behind him. He moved a fair distance away before he stopped and leaned on a wall from being tired. WereGarurumon felt the chaotic energy as well. It was different, very different. Sho turned to Luca,
"Ha, I wouldn't call it a rivalry, for that he would have had to have been in the same power league as me, no what I'm worried about is that he will build up a circle of weak friends and that together they will overpower me. however, it is power that I want and for that I am willing to do almost anything.
Sho turned back to the confrontation between Marcus and Chris,
"It looks like Marcus is getting better at aggravating people."

Chris listened to Marcus and as soon as he started talking about Marcus his smirk seemed to vanish and his eyes showed his irritation with a little twitch. "Y..you think I care about...that loser..." He said a bit nervously, but trying to seem like he didn't care. However, when he acted like the Marcus Chris cared about and insulted him his composure broke, only instead of the normal hurt that would've appeared Chris was pissed. When the knee went for Chris gut he grabbed the knee and held it back. "Now who said my drive went anywhere" He said his voice dripping with anger. Making sure he still had the leg he took his free hand and swung it as hard as he could at him, only this time his hand glowed with a deep purple digisoul.

The flash of aura from Chris let him know that it was either block or take the hit. With a smile he took the blow to the face that caused his head to turn ever so slightly. He then dropped his knee and brought it other hand up and around Chris's neck, hoisting the boy by his throat. "And there lies your weakness. You act as if you don't care, but you''re too stuck on me and what was to even think clearly. It'll soon be your death." Marcus's aura shown brightly as it consumed his entire body now. He increased his grip on the boy's neck, squeezing in an attempt to choke the life out of Chris. "This is your first lesson, that what I have shown you and learn from it." Afterwards, Marcus would let go of Chris and lower him back to the ground, allowing his own aura to die down.

Ocelot and Jou bid the two humans and digimon good bye and then continued their journey towards the Convention Center.

When Marcus lifted Chris up and choked him he frowned. He could hardly breathe, but he listened to him. He soon couldn't breathe at all "Y..your a b..b*****d" He choked out. When Marcus let go off him he began coughing and soon caught his breath again before spitting at Marcus "T...thats where you're wrong...I'm not stuck on you....the man I loved is dead you're just his shadow" He said as he stood up. "I work for you...but given the chance I'd kill you to have him back" He said as he walked away from him.

As Chris got hoisted into the air my Marcus and his aura Sho began to see the power that Marcus really held, he nearly felt scared. However, the news that there used to be an old Marcus was a shock to him, how many other secrets did Marcus hold. This training was proving to be more interesting than expected.

((Until the event gets going, we're going to continue our story, kay?))Marcus sighed as he heard Chris's words. They hurt somewhat, but this was what he wanted. While everything he [Marcus] said was not entirely true, the dream he had told that it wouldn't be long until it was all true. When that time came, he would have preferred that all his ties be demolished so that he would not have an regrets or words unsaid. He would think on whether or not he should say anything to Chris after this and decided not to. "Alright you two... think on what you've learned. The key to using Dark soul is through your emotions. Harness those and not only will your digimon grow stronger, but you will do. You are dismissed for the rest of the afternoon." One would wonder why, but after dodging and over exerting himself from the newbies' raw strength, he was quite drained.
Marcus sits down on the ground and takes in a deep breath. His jacket begins to fall down the sides of his shoulders, revealing toned, muscular arms and a strange symbol on his right shoulder blade. His body would be glistening with beads of sweat. This session had taken quite a few hours off the few that he had left."You've grown quite sloppy" Hiro would approach Marcus from behind with his arms crossed."Leave me alone... I have not. I took it easy on them.""I'm not talking about the fight. You let your emotions run you. You them that they need to control they're emotions and you up and let me run you like a marionette." The lion's voice would be quite so only Marcus would be able to hear him and it would be calm and without aggression despite his actual disappointment."Well..." he would look back to see where Chris, Sho , and the other members were before speaking again, "I know what you mean and it seems like problem has been getting worse and worse... the more I use digisoul.""Interesting... how long has it been like this?""For a while now actually." Gaomon would but in on the two's conversation. His keen sense of smell tipped him off a long time ago about Marcus and his change "But I think that's the least of our problems... we've got company."---------------------------------------------------------------------- Off in the distance a Pandamon and a dark Lillymon would walk into the center and approach the group of tamers. "Greets Chaos Organization. It would appear that your numbers have grown over the past few days." The pandamon would make sure to notice and look at both Sho and Chris."That's good... means more of a challenge." The lillymon dressed in purple and gray giggled lightly and continued to walk towards the crew of boys and girl.Ocelot :ll: Jou
