Everything will be okay in the end. (( Well, considering... no, not even gonna say it. Drama of other girls that affects me. xD ))
"Ugh... I ate too much," Draconis admitted with a smirk. His stomach felt distended, but the cook there was fantastic, even if it was just scraps. But... this was awkward. And he wanted to go back to his little fort thing, so he pushed himself up and scratched his head. "Ah, Regant? I think I should, ah... go back to where I come from," he said vaguely, slapping the dirt from his pants. He didn't know if he'd ever see Regant again, but he supposed time would decide that.
If it’s not okay, it’s not the end.

((Yeah, I know what you mean, but that's what I was talking about; like, you having your own girlie problems. XP I guess most people call it "guy trouble." But yeah, I know how sometimes some girls can get annoying with all of their drama. XP))
"Cool," Regant said, standing and stretching as well, "I'll tag along." Very dense about subtle hints, he thought ti would be a great idea for them to hang out together more. "I have no home, you know?" he said grinning as he knew he was stating the obvious, "So I'm free as a bird! Where do you live anyway?" he asked, wodnering if the boy was part of a family, a gang, or even a pack. Some of them roamed aroudn the city making trouble, but most kept to themselves. Regant had often considered joining some of them, but he never fit in and had always been rejected. Instead he roamed alone, looking for some kind of family and learning to defend himself if need be.
((btw, are you modeling after Near? Very cute. <3))

~*~*~*~*~* (( Yes, I am! And if you look in my profile, I cosplay him IRL, too. XP ))
Draconis looked at him blankly. Was he not heard? That was a completely blatant hint! Sighing, he thought quickly. "I live yonder," he said vaguely, gesturing to the general direction of his hole in the wall -- literally. "And... that might not be such a good idea." He pretended to be panicky, cold sweating and twiddling his thumbs. "The people I live with would probably beat the crap out of you if they knew you were with me." He was trying to hint that he was with a gang, but he really had no idea how gangs worked, but... well, he hoped it would work anyways. "They don't like newcomers." ~*~*~*~*~*

At first Regant thought that Draco was talking about an abusive family, but then he finally realized when the boy mentioned that they didn't like newcomers that it must be a gang. He had never thought that Draco would be in a gang; those people were heartless and none had ever let him become part of the group. Rejected by his parents, thrown out of the orphanage, denied the chance to make a family out of a gang, and now robbed of his only new friend. Looking hurt, but trying to cover it up with a weak smile, he said, "Oh...yeah, I guess that would be bad. Well, if you're ever hungry, I guess you know where to come now. I-I'll see you around," he said, turning and leaving out the service entrance. Walking away from the restraunt, he didn't even want to look back. Now he really felt depressed; he had always tried so hard to be ahppy, if only for his sister's sake, but now it seemed pointless. Wandering off on his own, he wondered if fighting could make him feel better. It was worth a shot, he thought as he made his way to the back alley area where fights were always held. He wasn't too good at it, but...it seemed he wasn't good at anything, really.

~*~*~*~*~* Draconis mashed his lips together in a stressed line. Why did this make him feel guilty? Well, you did sort of lie to get rid of someone who was only looking out for you-- SHUT UP, BRAIN. He watched Regant walk away sadly and sighed, turning his back and walking back towards his hole in the wall. Upon arriving, he struggled with the door, pushing it aside with all the strength in his tiny body (which wasn't much). He barely managed to open the door, squeezing in the little gap he made before having even more trouble closing it. After feeling like he'd torn every muscle in his body, he collapsed onto his rag pile with another heavy sigh. He fell asleep with self-deprecating thoughts. ~*~*~*~*~*

Getting a sudden idea as he was walking away, Regant decided to try a trick he hadn't thought of before. Closing his eyes and concentrating very hard, he said, in an attempt to summon a spell, "I want to see the pack he belongs to. Just show me one time..." waiting for an image to appear, all that he could see was Draco napping. "Hmm...that's odd," Regant said to himself, thinking that perhaps his own powers weren't strong enough. "I'll just have to ask around," he said, cracking his knuckles. Running off to the local fighting area, he thought that he might be able to get some information the hard way.

Damian checked his watch quickly as he ducked into the garden of Sir Drae. It was already 12. As he made his way out onto a near by street he mentally kicked himself, " I can't believe that I forgot how much I hate parties & large crowds. It's....Just so suffocating and noisy. At least," he consoled, "you got to see Lord Morvoran. Zane says he's got a foot in with the devil."
After walking for quite a distance, the cool night air clearing his head of the party, Damian realized he should probably call his chauffer & come up with an excuse for Sir Drae as to why he had left the party so early. He had gotten back into the rougher parts of town and the prospect of getting jumped did not sound appealing right then. Yah, he could handle it if it happened, but what would be the point....
Damian stopped in mid-thought as he spotted the boy from earlier passed out on the concrete. Cautious, he got closer to examine him. It looked like he had been through a lot since earlier that day. "I shouldn't," he told himself, "I shouldn't get anymore invovled with him....It'll only be trouble for him & me." Yet, his conscience wouldn't let him leave the boy. "I suppose," he wavered, "that I could put him up for the night at a hotel...."

((Ah! Lime green! My eyes! O.o))
Laying on the cold conrete, Ken faded in and out of conciousness, aware that he was laying on the sidewalk of some random street in the middle of the bad part of town, but not sure what time it was or what was happening around him. Coughing roughly as a bit of blood flew from his lips, he could barely make out someone moving around in front of his eyes. He tried opening them, but was too weak and couldn't focus his vision. He had heard the person speaking, but nothing sounded right to his ears at the moment. He couldn't even move his arms or legs, leaving him completely at the mercy of this one, random person. All he could do was hope it was just a mugger and not some weirdo pervert.

((XD))
Carrying him all the way to a decent hotel had been more exercise than Damian had been planning on that night. When he had finished healing the boy's injuries & making arrangements with the front desk, he stepped back out into the freezing morning air. As he called up his chauffer Damian took in his surroundings & the different people still awake at that hour. One could never be too careful. Once his ride finally arrived, he was so tired that he just slumped into the seat, falling alseep almost instantaenously. The start of a new day was a far off thought.

((Hah! Think again! XD You underestimate my power as a moderator! ...gah. Why do you always run away? X3 Where is ken supposed to go from there?))
Waking up in an unfamiliar place when the sun began beating in through the window, Ken looked around and tried to remember what had happened the night before. Realizing that he had passed out on the sidewalk before someone approached him, he hasitly checked under his skirt before heaving a sigh of relief and looking around again. It didn't seem that any one else was around and it wasn't a place he'd ever been before. Shrugging, he was just glad he'd gotten a place to stay for the night. Getting up off the bed, he waked out of the room and left the building. he felt much better than the previous day and all of his sores from the fights had disappeared. Glad that he wouldn't have to worry about it, he decided to try and find something fun to do that day. Emitting a sweet smelling pheramone from his mouth, he let the invisible mist cover his entire body before picking a direction he thought would get him back in familiar territory and began walking.

((Sorryz; I'll pick up the pace & quit leaving you.... I hadn't realized I was running away so much 0.o))
Damian awoke to the glaring noon sun and squinted as he reluctantly got out of bed. Pulling all nighters for a week was having it's affects he regarded. Today he would have to take it easy, so he could continue at top performance.
Finished with his brunch and dressed for the day, he left a note for his butler saying he'd be out & wouldn't be back until dinnertime, before climbing out his window and heading into the city. However, once there, he wasn't sure where to start and so, was soon just aimlessly strolling about, enjoying the weather.

Finally spotting a target that he could play with, Ken walked over innocently, and wondered how he should start; bitter or sweet? Deciding on sweet, he let out a wafting scent of peaches and flowers, hopefully enough to get the person's attention. After all, Ken just wanted to entertain himself, since he had nowhere else to go and nothing else to do. It was fun playing with people, anyway, although men were more fun than women to tease. Walking a safe distance behind the familiar looking boy, Ken continued letting out his sweet perfume as they walked, not wanting to be detected in any way other than his scent; it was his calling card.

While Damian spotted an ice cream shop and contemplated whether to get some or not, he picked up on Ken's scent. Instinctively his back stiffened as he realized the boy had probably been following him for quite sometime. He couldn't believe he hadn't noticed sooner, but then again this was why he was taking a day off Damian reminded himself. Slowly he turned around and faced the boy, "Would you like some ice cream?" he asked him. Might as well relax like I'm supposed to he thought.

"Sure," Ken said, batting his eyelashes flitatiously. The boy's casual response had surely suprised him, after their disagreements from the previous day. Even though Ken knew that he was dangerous as well, better to be dead than bored, he assumed. Walking oer to the boy so they could walk side-by-side, he mentioned, "I'm poor, just so you know." With his looks and charms he could usually scam food off of susceptable men, but he had not expected this muderous boy his own age to go along with it so easily. Perhaps he was just different people during the day and night. "So, what's your name?" he asked, wondering how much the boy could tell about him just by looking; some people were completely fooled by Ken's innocent looks, but other could see right through him. Which kind would this boy be, he wondered.
