*one of the extras then suddenly bursts into the room and grabs the co-director, hauling him off*

U-Unhand me this instant! scream Have you gone daft? stressed
*smacks his captor repeatedly, but the man doesn't even slow down*

Don't be ridiculous talk2hand Surely Mr. Giovanni would not... *remembers the overreaction Gio had to the body switch incident the other day. The fact that he could be taking this scene seriously and has live weapons certainly couldn't be ruled out* stare

*returns to the dining room, plops the co-director down on his feet before Psy and does a low bow*
The Duchess Vixtul as Your Majesty requested.

*sighs and removes his hat, doing a low bow himself full of flourish*
Your Majesty. I hope you will excuse my appearances, as I was not expecting a summons today...

*seeing a camera pointed right at him, he gets very self conscious about his open collar and starts to button up* sweatdrop

*tears up as the other Queen yells at her*
crying Miro was just asking a question crying It's not like she just went up to the table and started eating the tarts crying

She beamed at Psy, and bowed deeply. "my Queen, you're looking just beautiful today! I would love to have some tarts, you know how much I adore your chef!! 4laugh "

She glanced at Moro and remembered why they were there to begin with.

"Your highness, if I could please have your attention on a tiny matter that happened at my castle earlier? You see," she gestured towards Miro, "This poor girl was a witness to a horrible breach of decorum! It pains me to talk badly about your people, but we must have a discussion about your knight! gonk "

She took a breath and continued, "As you know, your Knave and I spar on occasion, it's a little sibling rivalry thing we do. lol Anyhoo, we were in the middle of the most lovely fight, and your knight burst into my dining hall and arrested the Knave!! gonk "

She grabbed Miro and pulled her closer so that Psy could see her better." And this girl is my witness that your knight, burst in uninvited and failed to show me the proper respect due my station as Queen of Diamonds!! scream "

Doesn’t take her eyes off of this blonde waif despite her display of tears. Ryzan is finally found and brought forth by some resourceful young man and she catches his bow out of her peripheral vision. Thank you. I’m glad to see SOMEONE is on their game. emotion_eyebrow Continuing to stare the young blonde down, she takes a small stack of gold coins out from between her breasts and holds them out for the man who’s done as she’s asked as those who show resourcefulness are rewarded. She also hears Ryzan and responds You are always impeccable, Ryzan.

Finally, the girl cracks and she learns her name. The Queen of Diamonds looked to be completely out of sorts…furious to put it mildly…and she learns who this waif is and her purpose. She returns a graceful curtsy to the Queen of Diamonds as she listens to her friend’s plight.

In the House of Hearts manners matter. Hearts is a CIVILIZED house for the alternative would simply be chaos. No kingdom of hers would be overrun by uncultured barbarians.

First thing is first and she pays attention to Miro once again. So…Miro……tell me…are you in the habit of entering someone’s kingdom and asking a bunch of questions before properly introducing yourself? emotion_eyebrow Now it looks to me as if the Queen of Diamonds here has taken you under her wing. It is out of respect for her that I will overlook your rudeness. But know this…… I’m watching you. She looks to Katana. My most sincerest of apologies, Katana. Please, sit and have some dessert. I want to hear what this “witness” has to say.

She starts to lead the Queen of Diamonds and Miro to the table and she locks an arm into Ryzan’s leading him to the table as well. She leans in and speaks softly to him. ninja What kind of information do we have on this, Miro? Is she reliable? Who is she and what is her family’s occupation? Where is the Knight and what has he done with the Knave?…… She rattles off another dozen questions and then has a seat.

The King puts his pistols back onto his person and has a seat. Clearly disappointed nobody is going to get whacked yet, he picks up his bourbon and takes a drink. stare

As they sit, tarts are delivered to the Queen of Diamonds, Ryzan and Miro.

*is thankful he decided to wear red today, else he might not have received such a compliment while the mistress was in character sweatdrop And with the sensitive state the cleric has put his emotions in, he's not sure he would have been able to handle any harsh words directed toward him emotion_facepalm As they walk toward the table, he tries to discreetly answer her list of questions in-character, knowing full well their conversation isn't nearly quiet enough to evade the cleric's hearing, but Psy is only human, after all.*

Miss Miro appears to be new to the land from what I can tell. She was actually at my house just the other day... addressing me as though we were friends. I would have slammed the door in her face had Cheshire Kits not vouched for her. I would watch my silver if I were you, though. The little thief somehow managed to pinch a paper fan right from my pocket without my noticing.

As for my husband, this is the first I'm hearing of his arrest. A part of me knew it was only a matter of time, jhal *cough* but stressed there are a number of crimes I could think of that it would be for and depending on which one would determine where he was likely taken. He could be well on his way to the Jabberwocky for all I know...

*a combination of Miro's emotional reaction to hearing that and his own flare for the dramatic leads to tears slowly trickling down his face as he pleads desperately to Psy*

Franco nods his head knowingly, whilst standing tall taping his finger on his chest proudly. If he wants to make a real earner outta this one e's got to first get in good wit da mirillo. Let I'm know da familia is always der.

It was easier to mouth off to the Queen herself because she was fond of Ryzan and wouldn't want to hurt him if she could help it... which he takes full advantage of ninja This Prince, though... he was a sneaky one. Can't be too careful with the sneaks.*

Truth be told, *yawns and stretches* I have no idea. All he said was that a witness had fingered me for stealing tarts emotion_eyebrow You ask me, I think he's probably making it up. Trying to impress the Queen and all. There probably is no witness.

*After Ryzan is brought in, the scene begins to settle down and everyone takes a seat, with additional tarts being served for the newcomers as they converse. That's his cue! pirate The Red Knight swiftly strides into the Grand Room, heading directly for the Red Queen. When she makes note of his sudden appearance, he takes a deep bow to her, with his left arm bent across his torso, and his other arm sweeping off to the side gracefully, before standing upright again.*

Your Majesty ... Pardon the interruption, but I thought it imperative for you to know that the tart thief has been apprehended. I was told that a witness came forward, stating they saw the Knave of Hearts stealing tarts meant for your Highness. I found him consorting with the Queen of Diamonds. *With a stern look on his face, stare he motions his hand towards Katana, then turns back to his Queen.* I immediately put him under arrest and brought into custody here at Castello Rosso, locking him up in the dungeons. *When he finished speaking, he bows his head to the Red Queen, taking a step back from her in the process. Takes a moment to note the others seated along the long table while waiting on his Queen's response.* ninja

"Consorting?! CONSORTING?!?! scream The Knave is my brother, you pig-headed buffoon! stressed " She stood and glared at the knight, her eyes daring him to speak ill of her again. evil

"How DARE you come into my castle without being announced and without paying me the respect due to me as QUEEN OF DIAMONDS!!! You're lucky i didn't fillet you like a carp for this insolence!"

She whirled and faced Psy, "This is the knight I was referring to, my Queen, the one who has disrespected me! Is this the type of people in your employ, a bunch of boorish, insipid imbeciles?! I don't understand, is he too slow and stupid to not understand proper etiquette?“

She kneeled next to Psy, "Surely you, as a royal yourself, can understand how I feel...and I know that you will do the right thing to make sure this will be rectified."

Pats Ryzan on the shoulder to comfort him. He is one of her most trusted advisors and she would go to great lengths to spare any undue burden on him. neutral

She is about to respond to the Duchess when the Knight of Hearts approaches and relays urgent news. ninja A tart thief loose in her kingdom is important and based upon the information she just received from Ryzan, she’s inclined to suspect this thieving waif. emotion_eyebrow She raises her hand up and is just about to speak, but then Katana has her say and she hears her perspective. neutral

Watching this little game of verbal ping pong, the King rolls his eyes. rolleyes The solution too ALL this is SO simple. He again takes out one of his pistols. Les jus’ whack ‘em. emotion_dealwithit

The Queen picks up her riding crop and smacks him on the bicep with it. Psht…NONsense. talk2hand She ponders a bit to give her an opportunity to sips her latte. I believe it is prudent to take this matter into the Royal Courtroom. She puts her latte back onto the table and the huge beast who had escorted the Queen of Diamonds and the small blonde waif into the Grand Room pulls out her chair for her so she can stand. READY THE ROYAL COURTROOM! Bring me my royal robes and gavel! I shall be hearing all complaints and all witnesses in the Formal Royal Court. ALL witnesses and suspects are to be issued a subpoena, rounded up and brought to court.

Makes her way to the Knight of Hearts and smacks her riding crop against his chest. She gets extremely close to him and finds this position to be very familiar and under the circumstances very brazen based upon their personal history. This display, albeit in character to the role she’s playing, is going to piss her husband off royally…no pun intended. I know you like I know the very back of my own hand……William. She even dared say his name which has not crossed her lips in years. Perhaps most of all, you understand accusations such as consorting and theft are to be proven in a court of law. I know how fond you are of “justice” and seeing those who misbehave……punished. Have you misbehaved again……William? She slides her riding crop around his chest and up to his neck as she waggles her finger at him. You need to apologize to the Queen of Diamonds for disrespecting her royal status. Apologize for disrespecting her crown, address her as “your majesty” and then find all of the witnesses and suspects for the court proceedings. Issue the Red Letter Subpoenas and bring them back to the Royal Court. She gets even closer to the Knight so he can feel her breath on his neck. Understand……William?

The Queen turns around and as she walks back to the table she notices her husband has literally bent each piece of his silverware in half. The look in his eyes…like he’s about to blow a gasket and execute Dougherty right on the spot. Point blank…no hesitation. sweatdrop She’s going to have to make up for that little display…BIG TIME. sweatdrop

And while we wait for the Royal Knight to do his duty, we shall reside to the Courtyard for a little game of Winter Croquet! She hopes this little game will ease the tension in the room and buy some time for a proper trial and it will give her the opportunity to hear everyone’s perspective so she can make a clear judgement. exclaim

She crossed her arms and tapped her booted foot impatiently. "Well? Get on with it, I have a croquet game to get to, you oaf! evil " She glared at the knight, eyes narrowed as she waited for this bumbling fool to do as he was told. rolleyes

Franco looks at the mirtillo with pure disgust. Yous shouldn't be lettin no bodies be fingerin' yous, what's a matta wit you? eek Franco stares at him a bit longer until he recalls dis is da one wit dat sposa dat looks like a donna but ain't burning_eyes

Ehh, Forget about it. Franco, 'e ain't needs to know nothin.

Looks around the corner to make sure no one is ambushing them then continues to walk. Queen? Oh, yous mean zitellona? Ehh boda bing. Franco gets choo. zitellona is regina cool don' yous worry about regina. I's got 'er round mines baby finger. Franco clicks his tongue at the blu man.

He can’t recall being this furious in looooooooong time. evil This is a brand new level of rage as he has had to sit at this table and watch as his wife gets closer and closer to the Knight in the way she is. Using her riding crop and speaking to that friggin cop in that enticing tone she has. evil His composure hanging on by a mere thread, he’s about to leap right over this table and strangle that cop with his bare hands so he can personally witness the life fade from his eyes. twisted

In that moment what seemed like an eternity, she FINALLY walks away from the cop and look in his eyes must speak volumes. The rage so insanely intense, it must be radiating off him for miles. Any opportunity for her ex to pay for how he feels right at this moment, he’s going to grab hold of and pay he shall. evil

The Queen walks casually to his side and places a hand on his shoulder. It’s a film, Alfonso. A film. She says through her teeth and very quietly. stare Granted, technically she’s stating a fact and it’s to try and reassure him. But he’s WAY to angry to even go there at the moment. Croquet sounds like a good thing to do. He’ll have a mallet to knock out that cops teeth. twisted
