My parents know i look at yaoi kinda cuz i was at the mall yesterday and i bought loveless and gravitation and when my brother saw gravitation hes lyke "isnt that the one with the gay coupple in it" << >> im still kinda mad about that well atleast my rents donno im so far in the closet im finding christmas preasents xd xd

No, i've never been cuaght but if I did...my father would disown me along with his side of the family. My mother would respect my decision but would tell me not to flaunt it.

I believe I've been caught reading Yaoi/Shounen ai by everyone except my parents. It's no secret to my coworkers, and I even have one co-worker that has made a game out of trying to figure out what new book I'm reading that day. xd

.. my dad once walked into my room when I was reading some random yaoi, and all he said was "HAHA, you're reading porn". sweatdrop Stupid idiot. Mom has accidentally seen some parts of Gravitation, but she didn't say anything; I think she doesn't care.

But then again, my parents are really open about sexuality in general. u.u; They don't seem to really care about what kind of stuff I read/watch, they're just happy about that how I read/watch porn too since it's something that normal people usually do. Eheh.

I've come REEEEALLY close to being caught before.

Like, seriously.... I actually always have at least four windows open besides the yaoi, because usually if someone comes into my room (the computer monitor is directly facing the stupid door, and it's RIGHT THERE as soon as you come in TT-TT ) I panic and click ANYTHING to get it off the screen. ^^;; Not to mention my mother has seen most of the books in my manga collection, and I think she has a pretty clear suspicion about it, but even if she did find out, it would just be awkward for a little while.
She's the kind of person who wouldn't say anything about it, but I would KNOW that she KNEW. My dad would be horribly grossed out, I'm sure, but I think he'd do something like "Well, I guess it's your eternal soul....." (He's not really that religious, but he is a bit.... traditional in some matters.)

Yeah. Not to mention, sometimes my mother will get it in her head that she wants to randomly come into my room to chat with me when I'm trying to RP via Instant Messaging, and I'll have to minimize the window for like, ten minutes until she leaves. =____= I always feel bad for the person on the other end.

that's happened to me before....the waiting for a person to get back from talking to their parents when we are trying to rp...tis very annoying burning_eyes

Lol, I don't think i've been caught yet, or even close to caught

1. Because for now my comp is where everyone can see it so I only use my comp for it when everyone is out of upstairs
2. When it was in my room, I can here people coming upstairs so have time to X out or bring something else up before they get to my room
3. My parents never search my room so whereever I hide something they'd never find it XD

I wrote a speech for my English class on gay marriage and how it should be allowed, and I kept my notecards in my backpack for about a few weeks afterwards...My dad enjoys searching my backpack alot, so he found them...Well, I know he has a problem with it...-.-;

after about a year or two i was caught last week :/ my mom heard me and my friend in the pool talking about how my new yaoi stories were going and my friend caled it 'gay porn' and my mom just heard the 'porn' part and so she thought i wrote pron o.o' and asked me the other day so i had to explain it all to her....then she saw o.o'rly awkward....but lol w/e she said as long as she doesnt see it XD

Hm... well, as far as I go, I have a rather open-minded and interesting family. My mother has looked through all of my manga, and she actually likes Gravitation (though I am getting rid of it). As far as my grandmother goes she's extremely open-minded plus she gives me privacy. She's made me sit through movies with her that are worse than or equivalent my manga or stories any day.

Then my grandmother is also very supportive of my homosexuality. So is the rest of my family, and they all adore S e r i t h.

I wouldn't say I've ever been "caught" with it, though, because my family all knows what I read and occasionally write.

i agree thank god for the computer! my comp is the sactuary for my yaoi and my parents dont hav a clue, they would be mad at me if the found out they think its bad....i dont see the bad in it its cute and natural i just showed my sis cuz she would hav freaked out if she found out and i didnt told and even tho she doesnt like it she accepts it ^^

My mom's weird. She thinks my gay love is smexy, as long as she doesn't get the details. Oddest feeling ever being set up with a guy by your mom...or your mom buying you porn for Christmas...^^;

My granfather caught some of my yaoi manga before, though. Since it's so loose in my house I just leave it around, and he picked it up and started flipping through. It was "Brother!" if you know it. Quite...graphic.

So in my family I'm probably known in circles as the "hell-bound pig sodomizer"...that's fine. *grin*

And the worst thing she took my fave one!!! Novel called Lost Souls by Poppy Z Brite and burnt it! crying
