Yazoo nodded, moving quickly towards the van on foot as there was only one cycle. He smirked softly at the nearly petrified look on the red headed 'lizard man's' face. He chuckled and glanced to the darker Turk. If it came to a fight, he'd like to smash those pretty sunglasses again. He then blinked as one of the back doors opened. He frowned as a tall man stepped out, his metallic, golden claws pushing long black hair out of his face. That cloak... Yazoo had seen it before. Perhaps this battle, were there to be one, would be quite a lot more interesting
Vincent turned his gaze to the approaching remnants, frowning softly. He turned around and stared at Rufus quietly. "Stay hidden... They needn't know you're here yet..." He murmured before shutting the door quickly. He then turned fully to the remnants, keeping his keen eyes focused on the three.

Quote: Aeris coughed slightly, and clung to the man holding her. "What's going on...I...I'm dead...I can't..." A snap of fingers above them silenced the girl, and down from a tree leapt the sickly scientist. "Dumb b***h." He mumbled, looking at Aeris, "Guess 'Sephiroth' was a pretty stupid trigger word." Maddock didn't look right in the light of the living world. His skin was far too pale to look natural. Of course, when one doesn't venture out of a laboratory for five years, this appearence is to be expected. With another snap of fingers, the flower maiden quickly swung her weapon, striking Cloud and sending him off of her. "Good girl." The man smirked, and looked over to Cloud, "She's completely under my control now..." Aeris walked towards him, and the man placed a skeletal finger on her cheek, caressing it down to her chin, "Now Cloud, Would you like to see her bloody body again, or should I let her kill you?" Malicious laughter filled the air after his words, as Maddock was now quite pleased with himself. Cloud flew back, sliding a ways before coming to a rest against a tree. When he looked up he saw Aeris standing beside a sickly pale man. At first he was confused, but when the man spoke his face darkened with rage. He finally realized what was going on. Though he was still in considerable pain he leapt to his feet and charged at Maddock. " You son of a b***h!"

The flower maiden moved to stand infront of Maddock, shielding him for the most part from Cloud.
"You see, Cloud, She's quite an obediant woman. Wouldn't let anything happen to her master." Maddock laughed again, "A real shame, isn't it? The woman you once loved willing so easily to kill you now. What will you do? Will you fight her and kill her? Oh, I'd love to see that."
Aeris readied her weapon, pointing it at Cloud.

The elder brother watched his younger leave and sighed, following after them 'I wanted the motorbike...' He thought to himself and pouted.
Seeing as loz was exceptionally fast, he was by kadaj's side in a matter of minutes. He smiled at the three men, before looking to Kadaj, "Are we going to get to play with them?" he asked, as he started up Dual Hound, mechanisms clinking and whirrling.

"We're not friends...you b*****d!" She thrust her weapon forward, attempting to strike Cloud.
"Oh, how noble of you...Shame she doesn't feel the same way." He smirked, crossing his arms over his chest, "Go ahead, Aeris...Beat him within an inch of his life...but Don't kill him..." Maddock's eyes foccused on Cloud's "I've got plans for you, boy."

Cloud broke eye contact with Maddock and moved out of the way of Aeris's attack just in time. "Aeris, stop this! Please don't listen to him! He's using you-" He was interrupted by a heavy series of coughs. It seemed his previous injuries were catching up with him. "Aeris..."

Yazoo stepped up on the other side of Kadaj and looed at Loz sternly. "Loz... No fighting unless we have to..." He looked at Kadaj and frowned as if asking for back up.
Vincent watched and listened intently to the exchange. He then move forward, stepping infront of the van. "Be peacable..." He muttered as a light warning.

"Heh." An uncharacteristically saddistic smirk spread across the ancient's lips, as he went in for the final attack. Three orbs glowed under her skin, materia, strengthening her attack. She spun around once, pushing all of her weight into the attack as she aimed the side of the weapon for Cloud's stomach.

Cloud yelled in pain as her last attack made contact and collapsed to his knees clutching his stomach. He coughed again bringing up a spurt of blood from his mouth. Trying to stand up again the blonde found that he had no more strength in his legs, or anywhere else for that matter.
Eyes blurred with pain he looked up Aeris and Maddock one last time before falling to the ground completely. His vision was going out of focus and soon everything was black. "I'm sorry Aeris... I tried..."

The scientist made his way over to the unconcious body, and kicked it once, before kneeling down. He ran two cold fingers over Cloud's cheek, "And now, the fun is just about to begin...."
He and Aeris both lifted the body and carried it through the forest for a good 15 minutes before coming to what appeared to be a cave. Inside this cave, however, was Maddock's own laboratory.
He had taken the majority of the equipment, and all the money he could find, from Hojo's lab years ago.
After moving through several tunnels, and a few flights of stairs, they entered the main hall of the Lab. Several doors, and another flight of stairs leading down, lined the hallway.
Beside the seconddoor on the left was a security device. The scientist placed his hand flat against the designated area, and a few seconds later the door opened for him.
The two dragged Cloud into the dark room, the door locking behind them, before setting him down on the cold stone floor. The click of a lightswitch being flipped, and a low murky light clicked on, casting an eerie glow over the room.
There wasn't much to it. An experimentation slab with ankle and wrist cuffs sat in the middle of the room. A few cabinets lined the natural stone walls. Maddock was never the type to worry about Decor. besides, in a torture room, who needed it?
They lifted Cloud's still-unconcious body onto the slab, and locked him in. Aeris then moved to stand at a back wall, remaining silent until her master needed her again. The scientist took a seat in a chair beside the slab. "Shouldn't be long until he wakes..." He said, smirking.

The first thing Cloud notice when he came to was a throbbing pain in the side of his head. Groaning he tried to reach up to touch and realized the second thing: he couldn't move. Blue eyes snapped open and took in the surroundings. It didn't ake long for Cloud to realize he was in deep trouble. Again he tried to move his wrists and found that only ade the pain worse.

"Don't bother trying, Mr. Strife, You're going to need as much energy as possible to sustain yourself through this."
The man reached inside one of the pockets on his labcoat, and fished out a few small tools, and then he reached onto his belt, and pulled off a whip.
"Now, We have several options here...I could use you for experimentation...Or mabe just good old fashioned whip-torture," he cracked the whip, "Which one would you prefer, Mr. Strife?" He questioned, looking over at the man.

Cloud made no facial indicaton that he was intimidated by this and did glare stonily back at Maddock. "who the hell are you?" he growled, avoiding the previous question. "What in the hell did I ever do to you?!" Though he knew it was pointless, he continued to struggle against his bonds.

he stood from his chair, and leaned over Cloud, smiling pleasently...which was more unpleasent then when he wasn't smiling. "Tell me something, Do you remember oh...about five years ago...You murdered another scientist."
He began to walk around the table, as he stroked cloud's cheek with two skeletal fingers again, "Re-Ven-Ge" He stretched the syllables out as he spoke.
"Aeris, come." The flower maiden stepped out of the shadows, and stood beside Maddock, "yes?" she asked head tilting to the side as she looked up at him, looking quite innocent.
"Here, take this." He handed her the whip, "And have yourself a little piece of revenge." She smirked as she cracked the whip, pleased with the sickening sound it made.
