I was a stumbler. It started in 4th grade when I asked the lovely question of "How does the sperm get into the females bodies?" I didn't get an answer so I decided to do research on the subject in 6th grade. That's when I read my first yaoi story, which was also a lemon. Wo0t Kurama and Hiei! Instantly, I fell in love with yaoi fanfiction, I also got my best friend into it.

heheh, I actually went 'ewwww grosssss' and tried not to think about it for a looong time...I began to loosen up soon when i stumbled upon DNAgel, though not real yaoi...

The fisrt time I saw a shounen-ai couple was back in 6th grade with TouyaxYuito from CCS, but in the americanized version, they didn't get to really express themselves sad
But then I saw Yami No Matsuei about 3 years ago and wow! I loved it! At first I was fascinated then : pure bliss XD

I first heard of gayness, I was like 6-7, and I was like. "Aunt Tricia, what is gay?" "Not somthing for you." "Okay."
Actual conversation. xD
But, I figured out about like.. 3 years ago. I am 13 now, (And, most people I talk to say I am very mature for my age. :3 Yay.) and I love shounen-ai. The only one that.. kinda scared me was Papa to kiss in the dark. xD It was funny though. And it made me never look at milk the same again... but... yeah. I hardly drink milk anyway, so, I'm good! ^^
My mom wouldn't care if she knew I like BL, but she might be like.. "Are you a lesbian!?1" Not that she'd care if I was.. she'd be shocked, but my mom isn't strict.. she let's me watch/read ALMOST anything I want. I freaking watched Garden State.
And now I am rambling. I am so good at that. . .

I watched gravitation at my friend sarah's house(we were bored). I saw them kiss (I was in 7th grade) and I though of soooo many questions!
"Is.....is this okay?"
"I this normal?"
"Can 2 guys really kiss?"
"Do real guys kiss eachother?"
It made me sound like it was illegal. I started question my own sexuality and I came to the comclusion that I was a PROUD lesbian. mrgreen

Heh, so, I'm not going to lie. I was a complete little girl about it and freaked out.
I think what made me aware of it was when I was in the sixth grade and I was obsessed with Dragonball Z fanfiction. I found one labeled 'G/V', thought it meant Gohan/Videl, and was unpleasantly surprised when it was not.
I was in denial that yaoi could actually exist. My friend, a yaoi fan from day one I'm sure, tried to convince me that Touya and Yukito were actually gay in canon of CCS, and I didn't want to believe her. I was willing to pair them up with any female so long as they weren't with each other.
Looking back, I really want to punch myself in the face.

Well, I had one of those tokyopop preveiw mangas And Eeri qeerie just happened to be in. There wasn't any gayness in the preview, but I still thought the story was good, so I bought the first volume and lo and behold it was yaoi! Ah, It was so new, and amusing I really started to like it a lot. I was bored of all the old stories in manga, but yaoi opened a whole other door. yes, I guess you could say I became obsessed..*cough cough*

I was in the 5th grade and a Harry Potter fan. A big one! XD And that was also the same time I found out how GREAT the internet was. I was looking for fanfiction and at one point I found a Sirius/Harry story. Not to mention it was a lemon. I was so shocked but interested at the same time! XDD So that's where it started. But I didn't know the terms "yaoi,seme,uke, and so on" until like my Freshmen year of High School. Which was three years ago! XD

I was original against it. Than while I played safely inside a Gaara Guild ( I love you Gaara-sama ) I came across a GaaNaru piccy and for some reason that picture changed my entire view and I was off searching for other pictures and fanfics about as many potential pairings as I could find. Now I am proudly obssesed.

I actually at first really didn't care for Yaoi.....at all. I thought it was stupid, and it bugged me when people would put two non-gay characters together.
...But then I actually looked at Yaoi, and I realized it was really hot, and that people had a right to put whoever they wanted together, if it made them happy. And did I mention I realized it was hot? >P

the first Yaoi thing I ever came across was Remus x Sirius.
It was a fanfic, and I didn't even notice it was Yaoi untill, like, the middle. xD
I was all " gonk OMGWTFEW"
I hated Yaoi after that. The ony one I supported really was ToyaxYukito, because it made to much sence to not like. <3 and it was hawt.
Oddly enough, I now support Remus x Sirius, when I used to protest against it.

Ahh... sweet first time... *sighs* heart
I was only 10, and I was looking for Yuugiou fanfics [on google...], and I stumbled upon a site with yaoi in it, and I read a very hot SetoxJou R fic, but I went back before the sex scene... for I was like: OMG that was so hot! OMG OMG OMG...
And I eventually looked for more yaoi-stuffed stuff and eventually became totally obsessed it borders insanity obsessed and fell in love with it. heart
I was also depressed, so yaoi literally saved me from killing myself... sad

The sad thing is, I don't know what yaoi took my yaoi virginity. xD I think the first full-length one I read was Fake, which I'm still in love with. And the first anime I saw was Sensitive Pornograph, which is also still in my heart forever. Well, y'know how first times are. <33

The first time I read a yaoi i nearly had a nosebleed.
The thing is though, it wasn't from a manga.
It was wierd little book called The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty.
Such a beautiful story.
