I got made fun of just the other day for liking them. This kid in my art class asked me who my favorite band is, so I told him that it was MCR, and he was all like "Oh come on!" and then he turned to these girls he was with and was all like "Dude she likes MCR!" and acted like I was ridiculous. I told him some of the metal bands I like though and he stopped. What I find amusing though is that two seconds later he was loudly listening to AFI on his Ipod. I mean, I love AFI...but come on, they`re just as "ridiculous" as MCR if you`re one of those all-"emo"-bands-suck-and-are-talantless type people. It was new AFI too...so it`s not like he could even go on about how the older punk stuff is better or something.

I just did a day or two ago. Cause I bought a Black Parade Jacket. So i posted a bullitin about it. I wrote:
so, i like my chemical romance.
quite a bit.
they are one of the only things that i truly connect with.

i don't really care what anyone has to say about it.

i stared at it for a while and then i said, "yep, that is something worth having."
and wear it cause i want to.
and because i can.
then all you ignorant bastards, can call me emo.
and you know what?
i will tune you all out.
and sing "welcome to the black parade"
you can complain about that too.
but the thing about that is...
you people won't be wearing an ultra cool black parade jacket...
then who will look stupid? (lol)

we are the black parade.
I felt it was truly one of the best bullitins ever.

Yep...I get called emo so people think im suicidal (which im not) and say stupid crap like im anorexic and a poseur but hey i dont give a ******** what people think. I love My Chemical Romance and they sure as hell cant make me stop listening to them by saying s**t about me.

To be truthful, people always questioned to me about the band while I was back in highschool and now that I'm in college, no one gives a damn as long as you keep it yourself.
I don't think I've ever been dissed for liking the band or maybe I was, who knows.
I never really payed attention or CARED.

Only about 2 people i know have told me they dont like my chemical romance and they were dating and I asked why? they said they just dont and i asked if they have ever herd their music and of corse they said no! And guess what! They love My chemical romance now! hehe. Anyways as i have said before no one can tell what i like because of all the styles i have. One day i could have a purple colar shirt on and jeans and the next i could have a black t-shirt and skinny black pants with dark eye liner. I wear somthing different every day and no one can seem to catagorize me (pardon the spelling).

no one i know besides my sister and i like mcr. we always get herassed for it but they are so amazing that we can't help but disagree with everyone else.

It's all drama and people believing everyone should like what the majority crowd is going for. The majority crowd likes the hip hop, rap, and Justin Timberlake style music, i.e. nothing with guitars and musical instrument talent... just singing and word play talent.
Mind you, some of Justin's songs have actually got me dancing... that's means he has SINGING talent.
MCR can play instruments and sing GOD D@MN WELL.
That tops any of those Justin Timberlake's and hip hop singers out there.
Have any of those hip hop singers saved anyone from suicide like MCR had done? o_0 I doubt so.
Screw what majority likes, we are people who like to hear instrumental talent along with singing talent. MCR is one of those bands.

X_Sweet_IntoXication_X i have had so many rumors spread about me because of my dress/music style. here are the top three.
1. I'm anorexic (i'm super skinny. i eat alot, but i never gain weight.)
2. I'm suicidal (used to be. not anymore)
3. I'm a lesbian (i have no idea) i get that all the time. so annoying

yh at school all the chavs n preps come up to me and go "your in the mosha crew arent ya" n i feel like sayin yh but your in the borin crew where everyone is the same u judgmental tit head but i just keep quiet coz i aint tht pathetic and my own brother even disses me when i have kerrang on t.v he goes "errrrrr you lil mosh ed " n it's like get away frm me u tard

well i mainly get called emo by my family....coz i listen to emo music....which i dont...i tell em that...and they say mcr is emo....phhht whatever...our school basically knows who they are...dont exactly understand anything about them..mainly liked by wemos..(wannabe emos) who are gay and are in love with gee..(the guys too) but yeah the rest think that mcr listeners are emos...listeners are given a hard time by the gangstas...most dont know i listen to mcr...
