✪Walking Pokemon ⇨ Dallas looked at the monk, and the more the man talked, the more Dallas' eyelids drooped and his expression sunk into a stale boredom. It was nothing he hadn't heard before from other people; how could you, that's not right, you should be ashamed of yourself, blah, blah, blah. Even with the staff pointed at him, he didn't budge from his expression, nor show any signs of remorse. You've got to be kidding me with this, he thought. He stood fast at the verbal attack (even though he could feel the bruise building on his back, and boy, did it sting) and waited for him to finish up.
And then, he was told to apologize to the runt. Dallas stared at the monk, then the kid, and then back again. He snorted, and a grin popped onto his face. "Oh crap! You were actually serious!" He let the bat hit the ground as he let go to run a hand through his hair and enjoy a good chuckle. When it finally subsided, he spoke once more. "Okay, yeah, sure, I'll apologize." He stepped closer, carefully nudging the staff out of his face to do so, and squatted a bit to get on the kid's level. "Hey. Hey, look at me, kid." He snapped his fingers to try and get the kid to acknowledge his presence before he made his apology.
Dallas put on a mask of concern, and spoke in a more endearing tone. "Hey, kiddo," he said, "I'm real sorry. Yeah, I'm really sorry that you don't have the brains to know how to mind your own damn business." Dallas laughed at the kid, and stood up straight. "Here's something Mr. Miyagi over here ain't teaching you: not everybody you meet is gonna want to be your buddy. Some of them are gonna push you down, and some of 'em are gonna do a helluva lot worse. So, until you learn how to fight like your dad in the dress here or throw down like your boy Dallas, be a good little brat and stick to your own business."
Out of anyone else's mouth, it would probably have come out much kinder and less brash, but that wasn't his style. He looked up at Saru, and shrugged his shoulders. "Just saying, so-called Master Saru. If he had stuck to you, none of this probably woulda happened. Now, time to get on with your apology now."

Setting Chibi down Saru slipping the child the empty poke'ball's motioning to recall his Pokemon while he dealt with this brutish individual. Saru could see in the child's pained expression the building outburst soon to come if he couldn't calm himself. It was why Saru had had Chibi recall his Pokemon rather do it himself. Aipom was trained to sense an aura' users stress and take steps to help them relax before they became overloaded.
Turning to the man. "As am i." Saru became in as calm a voice as he could maintain given his own reluctance in not hitting this man as hard as he could. ✪Walking Pokemon ⇨ Dallas cross his arms as Saru continued to drone on about what a terrible person he was. He rolled his eyes at most of it, and gave a few 'psh's' and a few 'whatevers' as the monk went on. All he thought about was getting ready to flip off the guy, or maybe get in a nice sucker punch. But then there was the mention of Dallas' Poke'mon, and the young man actually took offense to that.
"Now you hold the hell on a second!" Dallas squared up, and poked Saru's chest with an accusatory finger. "You can say whatever you want about me, but you don't know jack about my Poke'mon! I'll have you know I plan to have the best lookin' team that any region's ever seen, pal. I'm talking in the top percent! We're goin' places, fool!" Dallas always had a soft spot for Poke'mon, and now that he had his own, that spot was real soft and gooey.
But, Dallas wasn't just satisfied with just saying he was gonna be the best. No, that wouldn't be good enough. He had been called out. And when Dallas Tucker gets called out, he shows up and throws down. But, instead of swinging a fist, Dallas smiled, and gave Saru a pat on the arm. "You know what? This is what we're gonna do. I'm gonna travel with you and the kid, and you can see for yourself how wrong you are! And when you do, you'd best be ready to apologize!"

As Alejandro and the two Pokemon made their way back towards Hau'oli, they were stopped by a familiar shade of blue. There hadn't been any expectation to run into Vaporeon again so soon, but he wasn't going to complain. She still looked scared, though, and was hiding - poorly - in some grass. Alejandro approached her carefully and frowned when she reacted by getting ready to retreat before she realized he wasn't who she was hiding from."Hey, princess. Hate to burst your bubble, but you'd have a better chance hiding in my hair than in that grass."Vaporeon perked up and must have taken that as an invitation because she was soon scrambling to his head, curling up like some weird turban. He laughed a bit when she pawed his head before jumping off to hide in the grass again. She didn't seem too pleased that it failed."Who're you hiding from?""...Por...."

Vaporeon was a little sweetheart. She got along well with Pooka, who seemed content laying with her in the grass, and she had one of the most gentle purrs he had ever heard. But, she still seemed a bit wary of Alejandro and this time didn't come out of hiding when he tried to coax her to. Or, he was wrong and she was simply making sure she stayed hidden from whoever or whatever she was scared of."You hungry?""Por?""I'm heading to Hau'oli. If you want, you can come with. I'm sure there's a cafe or something there with food you'd like to try."Vaporeon completely forgot about hiding and burst from the grass, yipping excitedly and running in circles. Alejandro smiled a bit and stood, she and his own Pokemon immediately following after him as he headed towards the city.

As they approached Hau'oli, Vaporeon looking much happier than she had before, the water feline halted. Alejandro watched the fins on her head flatten. Looking back towards the city, he spotted a trainer with a Jolteon walking towards them. He was about Alejandro's height, but he looked more like the studious type; he looked like a noodle compared to Alejandro. The trainer suddenly spotted Vaporeon and she was suddenly scurrying away towards Ten Carat Hill like a Zubat out of hell. "Hey!" Alejandro looked back at the trainer as he and the Jolteon bolted after Vaporeon and he frowned. His priority shifted from food and egg hunting to getting to the Water-type first."Come on, you two."

Saru really had hit a nerve in the thug but his response wasn't anything close to what he'd expected. "You're out of your mind if you think I'd ever allow a Team skull thug like you to come with me." Saru countered in bold defiance of the man's claim of a self-imposed companionship. "Buddha preaches's compassion for your enemy not blind ignorance of their sins."
Saru took an advancing step forward. The Thug was bigger, something to boost considering Saru's 5.9 stature was impressive in its own right, but Saru was obviously the better fighter. He was hoping that might give him the edge in intimidating the man into backing off but a tiny hand quickly pulled at Saru's robes. Dallas rolled his eyes and sighed, and began to explain himself. "Hold your horses, Samurai Jack, I'm not with no Team Skull." But, before he could go any further, Saru had stepped up. It was clear that this monk wanted to get into another scrap. And Dallas would definitely oblige.
The thug stepped up as well, and popped his knuckles as he sized up Saru. "Oh, so now you wanna fight face to face, eh? I hope you're ready for a beating...uh...hey, is your kid okay?" He had glanced down and saw that the girly boy looked physically pained, like he was going to start crying or something. Dallas took a step back, feeling unsure about getting into a fight with the kid being so weird like that. And it sounded like the kid didn't want any more fighting, either. Heh. He's a wimp, but at least he's smartened up a little.
And just as Dallas was sure he would be flipping off the folks and heading on his way, the kid had himself a little outburst. Sticking up for him. HIM! ✪Walking Pokemon ⇨ Dallas tried to hold back the laughter of victory. He had obviously beaten the monk this time around, and now he'd...have to travel with that man and the kid. As Dallas stood there, he thought about that for a second: Wait a minute...do I really want to do that? I hate going around with people. Especially snot-nosed brats and holier-than-thou dicks like this! But what could he do? Back down? Never! Instead, he double-down, and watched on as the two if them bowed to the punk.
Naturally, Dallas didn't oblige. "Yeah, that's what I thought," he said smugly. "Anyways, name's Dallas Tucker." He looked over at the the pair, and listened as Saru exposed his lack of knowledge of pop culture. "You...don't know who Samurai Jack is? Well, he's-"
"Y-yo! Hey you, sucka!"
Dallas turned, curious to see who would be dumb enough to call him a 'sucka'. It was another one of those Team Skull guys again, throwing up gang signs and shouting out all sorts of insults. "Ya think you can come 'round our turf and just mess with my homies? You're in a world of hurt, yo!" Dallas glared at the other thug, and bowed up. "Man, you best step before I pound you like yo momma when she asks me juuuust right, fool!" The grunt didn't take that too well, and it was time to battle! "I'm gonna stomp you with these Poke'mon I stole! Get ready, blondie!"
The Grunt threw out an Exeggcute, and Dallas laughed. "Oh, okay, yeah, that'll take me out. Beltigre! Show 'em how we do it, girl!" He chucked out a poke'ball, and the Litten burst out, ready to finally fight. Exeggcute decided to put up more defenses, while Dallas decided to go on the offense. He pointed at the enemy, and snapped his fingers. "Beltigre, let's heat things up! Ember!" Litten sent out a blast of fire, which did its job of igniting the Exeggcute. But, it wasn't down and out quite yet. It unleashed a flurry of blows as it rolled into Beltigre multiple times. But, Beltigre didn't fall. Instead, she blasted the eggs again, making it faint in a pile.
"That's all you got, dude? You better bring it!" The thug got angry, and threw out another ball, unleashing an Abra. Beltigre tensed up, and got ready for an attack...but Abra didn't do anything. "Yo, c'mon, you stupid thing! Attack!" The Abra seemed to phase out of existence, only to appear back where he was exactly. ...Beltigre, use Ember ti'l it faints." It didn't take too long before the Abra was down as well.
The rest of the battle went just like Dallas thought; Queen Bee was able to outmaneuver the Baltoy and whip up a gale to take it down, and Riptide bit up Spoink like it was a chew toy. Needless to say, Team Skull was nothing near as bad as they sounded. Dallas even turned to Saru mid-battle, and said, "You really thought I was one of these guys? Gimme some credit, Jet Li!"
The Grunt got all of 'his' Poke'mon gathered up, and got ready to storm off. "Whatever bro! I'll remember this!" He turned around to flip off Dallas, but found a bat was aimed for his face instead. There was a loud CONK! noise before the crook hit the sand. "That's what you get for stealing Poke'mon," Dallas proclaimed. "And this is for thinking you could beat me!" He conked the grunt again, knocking him clean out. Dallas took the time to rummage through the guy's pockets, claiming an antidote, a miracle seed, two TMs, and a peculiar Poke'ball, that was marked 'For a good home.' Obviously, this grunt had taken it as well. Feeling that he had earned it, Dallas stuffed it all in his pack, and also took the grunt's chain as a show of disrespect.

It was instead best to stay ahead of Dallas. Maybe he could ditch him if he was fast enough?

Exiting the lab had found both twins in a trail that they imagined led to a town ( it always did on T.V. after all) Sana was the one holding Popplio since Dana was too busy taking in all the surroundings "The plants are really different, really different than the ones back home" the younger twin said leaning down to examine a shrub."And the air smells like salt" "It's nice"Sana said leaning against a tree while her twin did...whatever it was she was doing, Sana didn't know "it certainly is much cooler than back home. It smells like the ocean. I think Popplio likes it too" The pokemon in fact did seem to be enjoying the breeze, he had a look on contentment on his face that rivaled the one on Sana's. "Oh yeah Sana, what are we gonna name him"Dana asked getting up and wiping her hands on her skirt and leggings. Sana focused, snapping out of whatever headspace the nice breeze seemed to have put her on"I don't know Dana..hmmm" She held up the pokemon in front of her, earning a confused look as it cocked it's head to the side and a 'plio po?'' "Are you a Steve or a Carol?"

Terrence came back towards route one, before looking around. If he remembered correctly, then he needed to head towards route 3 in order to get to the next egg location. Az popped his head over Terrence's shoulder and looked around. He seemed to want to get to know the area better, after all this was Terrence's hometown... or at least his home region. Plus Az had yet to see much of the world, and he wanted to see so much more along side Terrence. So looking for these eggs was actually very fun, and Az felt like he was growing stronger by the day. One day he'd be big enough to stop anyone from hurting Terrence! He puffed his chest out, a bit proud at the thought. He was quite pleased with the idea after all. Terrence didn't know exactly what Az seemed so smug about, but he wouldn't ruin the moment. So he smiled, and moved towards route 3.

Sana was deep in thought as she walked, thinking over the moves she now knew her pokemon-well, their pokemon had. She had read about moves being used in contests for appeal, and she was trying to remember what each move was. Both girls had brought books on contests and research respectively and journals to write down whatever they found out, but they could barely bring them out right now. Dana seemed to find something else that caught her interest and had gone deeper into the shrubbery around them. With a sigh Sana followed, if she had it her way they'd cut straight through town but Dana was coming along with her on her contest journey, the least she could do is let her look at some plants.
