Gosh,shounen-ai/yaoi totally scared the crap outta me.I didn't really know any japanese terms back then so clicking a website that said yaoi,had NO EFFECT on me(cuz like i said,i didn't know WHAT it meant)until I saw a WHOLE site,dedicated to KenshinxSanoxSaitouxAoishi from Rurouni Kenshin & I was like W...T...F????
I was homphobic just to tell you(even with lesbians)I hated it enough like I did with Hentai(i still hate hentai) but I guess the male anime characters were hot themselves but I found them rather hot(& pretty xd ) with eachother & blah blah blah.That's how it all started & leaded into THIS

I think the thing that freaked me out the most was that it was my first time reading anything related to sex. I think I was 11.... maybe? It may have been 12... Somewhere around there. After calming down a bit though, I realized how much I'd liked it, and have loved yaoi ever since then.....

Hmm well when my friend introduced it to me..it was yaoi..not even shonen-ai, just, yaoi. I pretended to be creeped out, because my other friends were, but I actually secretly loved it, and when she wasn't looking, I'd get into her yaoi folder..i guess i've just always been..a perverted child...><

I first saw it when I was 12; to be honest, I didn't really feel much except confusion, since it was totally new to me. I wasn't squicked out or anything, but I wasn't curious enough to immediately continue. I picked it back up a year later though just by sort of floating into it via fanfics. xd I've never had anything against it, only initial indifference.

Nope, I've been taught that love is always love, no matter what gender a person and their beloved one are. So there couldn't have been anything that would've confused me.

I've been open to homosexuality in all its forms for as long as I can remember. I think I was eight years old when someone told me Sailor Neptune and Uranus were lovers. They said it, and I was all "What's wrong with that? They love eachother, don't they?"
I was a wierd little kid.
