Zakhav didn't bother watching Lillipup leave; he was far too busy. He'd finished his project the previous night, sure, but he needed to get down on hacking into the PC system, not to mention he'd been able to pick up his parts at the pokecenter in Oreburgh before coming over, so he needed to work on that, too. First order of business, though, was to type up a few replies online, and then he would be sure to write up a report on the work he'd done and send it in, and finally he'd start trying to multitask his hacking with building and working on his communications system. Stifling a yawn, he brushed a hand back through his dark hair, staring through half lidded eyes as he rapidly typed his way on the keyboard, one handed, and then returned his fingers to the keyboard to pick up the pace.

It was out of the corner of his eye that he first noticed the odd electric blue around his computer. He'd been reaching for his communication equipment, to start setting it up to work on, but at the strange hue, his head snapped back. He caught a glimpse of a final electric pulse before the glow suddenly died. His eyes narrowed-- he was positive of what he'd seen. And he was fairly certain he knew what was causing it. "Rotom..." he snarled, his accent thick. He started slowly looking around, eyes scraping over every piece of technology, then snapping back to his computer as a program pulled itself up, and began writing in a document. I told you, my name is Meebus, it scrawled. His lips pulled back in a sneer, and he reached forward, grabbing firmly onto his computer's screen on either side. "Geet out uv my computer," he growled, "Ze last device you ver en ees now broken." The blue electricity danced around the computer's frame, shocking him lightly. He jerked his hands back, glaring. To be fair, the computer intelligently typed, That was more your fault than mine.

Twitching in annoyance, Zak managed to pull himself together. He straightened up, taking a deep breath, and then letting it out calmly-- or at least as calmly as he could muster. When he spoke, it was in a controlled, low tone. "... How deed you geet out uv your pokeball?" he asked. There were a few shimmers of electricity around the computer, and the Rotom slowly appeared, just partially, over the top, his bespectacled eyes staring back at Zakhav, warily, trying to read him. I worked to break the tape. It was very sturdy.... but eventually the fibers began to fray. The Russian narrowed his eyes, but then turned his head, looking to the pokeball. And, indeed, the tape that he'd secured around it was almost entirely ripped in half. He must have managed to weaken it so he could get the pokeball open just enough to escape out of, and flee to one of the electric devices. "... You ver vorking on eet ze whole time?" He raised an eyebrow, turning back towards 'Meebus'. Since you caught me, yes. Zakhav frowned, staring at the words. That was... actually impressive...

Zakhav's opinion of the little electric pokemon may have actually shifted slightly. To break through duct tape, he really had to have been working, hard, since he caught him. That meant... well... He didn't know if pokemon even really slept in their pokeballs, or how that worked, but if they did, he didn't do any of it. He didn't know how he didn't notice, though.... But he supposed he just assumed the duct tape would be enough to keep him locked down. "Vell..." Zakhav rubbed his jaw thoughtfully, looking down at the eyes peering back up at him from above his computer screen. "I suppose I am eempressed..." He stretched his head to the side, cracking his neck a bit and then lowering his hands to his keyboard. "Eef locking you en ze pokeball vill not vork, you can stay out. However--" He reflexively jerked his hands back as the screen lit up, and text started appearing again. I will not tamper with your electronics. If anything I can help proof read your code. I won't change anything. Zakhav narrowed his eyes, and after a beat, the computer added, I know what fate would await me if I did. Frowning, Zakhav crossed his arms over his chest. It was a bit hard to tell the sincerity of a text message... but he felt that the tech-rat was probably being honest. After all... he may be a ghost, but there were fates worse than death. Zakhav had made it fairly clear he didn't tolerate people messing with his stuff.

After a moment's hesitation, Zakhav placed his fingers back on the keyboard. He glanced at Meebus, who met his gaze, and closed the application. He waited a moment, to make sure the little cretin computer bug didn't pull it back up, and, with another glance, resumed his work. Honestly, there wasn't really much he could do at this point. The pokemon was in his computer-- the damage was done. He couldn't get it out and do anything without damaging his devices and he wasn't willing to do that. And the pokemon seemed... Something. He couldn't but his word on it. But after a moment of quiet observation, Meebus disappeared back into the computer, and seemed to leave Zak to his work.

The two were actually able to coexist in silence for quite a while. Zakhav somewhat set aside his computer after a bit, to work on his communications device. He was aware of Meebus emerging, partially, from the computer to watching, but didn't address or even glance at him. No, what managed to pull him from his work was the sound of wings, and he lifted his head. He ducked down, grimacing as something landed on his head, and immediately swinging an arm up to bat whatever it was away. The object fluttered down, landing beside him, and he glanced over it with an initial frown, only to smirk a bit as he recognized it.

Zakhav waited until Jubilee was gone, and then some, before returning to his communications device. There was a flicker of electricity, and then the blue aura appeared around his computer again, as Meebus' eyes appeared above the screen again. ...."Eev you are vondering, yes, she vos referring to you," the Russian remarked, focusing on his device with a narrowed gaze, then closing it up. It wasn't quite done, but it was fairly close, and he wanted to see if anyone had replied yet. The light around his laptop flickered, Meebus looking at him as he pulled it onto his desk. Does she work with you? The little chatbox appeared in the corner of the screen, and Zak spared it a side glance. "En a vay. Stop destracting me," he muttered, focusing in on his current interest.

Meanwhile, Zakhav's other pokemon had gotten lucky. The woman that battled them found them just 'oh so adorable' and had apparently decided it was worth bringing her friends and their lower level pokemon, too, to come and battle them, to 'help them train'. Sotnik was less than enthused, but was glad that at least the first pokemon one of them sent out wasn't another water type. Unfortunately... it was an electric type. The servine frowned, considering whether to go himself, but Daeva crept forward, grinning, apparently deciding to take on the enemy herself.

As the next opponent emerged, it was becoming increasingly apparent that Zakhav's pokemon did not have a large range of attacks. They all exchanged looks, but ultimately it was decided that Totodile would take on the Machoke. The little water pokemon ran forward, arms flapping excitedly by his sides, red eyes practically aglow. The Machoke didn't seem perturbed in the slightest, lowering into a fighting stance, at the ready. Without their trainer, the pokemon were essentially left to their own devices, but Totodile seemed to have the right idea, at least-- that, or he just really liked biting things, which was also totally possible.

Well at least the next pokemon was fairly easy. All the pokemon stared a moment when it was sent out, uncertain what to say, do, or think. It just... stared... unnervingly. Finally, though, Deys stepped forward, Pecked it, waited, and then Pecked it again, knocking it out, and returning to the group. Sotnik was pretty sure he'd seen the pokemon try and increase it's defenses at some point in there, but... really, that wasn't going to exactly do much....

Who knew training could be so... boring? Sotnik sighed, but blinked and looked off to the side. Lillipup was wandering over, apparently to check in, and the grass type noticed something was in his mouth. Hm... another item for Zakhav, probably. The pup pokemon took a seat to watch, and Deys took notice as well, glancing at the item he held. Unfortunately, they weren't the only ones that noticed-- Totodile appeared before either of them could act, grabbing the heart scale from the surprised pup's mouth. He danced off, and bit down on it, but looked upas a fire pokemon was sent onto the field. Sotnik, angry now, started towards the maniacal water pokemon, but Deys held out a fin, shaking his head at him.

Much as Sotnik wanted to reprimand Totodile for stealing and eating the item that Lillipup had found, it had apparently done something rather useful and taught the pokemon a new move. He sighed, shaking his head and allowing the water type to take on the next pokemon, turning to walk over to the depressed pokemon. "Sorry," he apologized, "I guess it's not good to bring items here..." Lillipup sighed. "It's okay, I should have known. At least it wasn't the item I really wanted to find... I should probably go back to looking for that. Good luck on your... battle?" Sotnik glanced over to see that Totodile had already won, but gave a nod of appreciation to Lillipup, who headed off, and turned back to see if another of the woman's friends were going to be battling them.
