[Discussion] parent's reaction when they saw you liked Yaoi?

Well when my mom found one of my Fanfic that I was reading she was confused as to what it was until she reached the forth page then it was over for me heheheh lmfao, so it adds up easy:

Annoyed (Me)+Confused (Mom)+Fan Fic (Yaoi ^_^)-Last and lost(Dad)= long talks that go on and on and on and on ect.( Walk away into room and going to sleep)

So yea was that easy to remember lmfao and that is how it was for me XP

My mom knows I watch Gravitation and Loveless. I told her and my dad about it, leaving out the parts about yaoi. Heh.
My mom thinks it's nasty, so I don't talk about it around her. She doesn't really know, except I've let a comment or two slip.
My dad doesn't know about the yaoi comics I bought(Gravi 1+2, Loveless 1+2). I bought Gravitation with his girlfriend, who didn't check it at all, heehee, but when we went to a concert and two of the guys on stage where making out I was cheering. So he was like "Thats gross" and his girlfriend was like "well you like it when hot girls make out" and he was like "..." so...I guess he sort of knows. xD

No one knows about it. My dad doesn't because I have seen him for years, and I want to keep it that way, and my mum doesn't because I know she'd assume it was entire porn-orientated and simply look down upon it. Plus, I get the impresssion that even though she claims to be liberal about homosexuallity, she has an underlying dislike. But even if they found out, I doubt much would change because I own my own computer, and I can be absolutely unbearable if I don't get my own way on stuff like this. sweatdrop Plus, I'm moving out in two months anyway. xd

I've never been caught. Well, at least not knowingly. Don't get what I'm saying? Read this long a** story.

There was this one time where my uncle's friend came over to help me download the pictures from the camera onto the computer and my mom and aunt wanted to see too so all three of them were around my computer. And fate being cruel just HAD to have my uncle's friend download the pictures onto my HARDCORE SasuNaru doujinshi folder! I was watching TV so I had no idea what folder he put it in so when he said it was done downloading I came over and looked with all three of them. And the first thing he clicked......was the cover of one of the many hardcore SasuNaru doujin on there. ....It was a very very hot, steamy, sexy cover but in this case that would be a BAD thing o_o;; My eyes were as wide as dinnerplates when I saw it. But he acted like it was nothing and my aunt and mom had the same reaction and he just closed the window. Turns out the pictures from my camera were all the way on the bottom of the folder and we all looked at them. No one mentioned anything about the hardcore yaoi. Which I found very strange since I'm only TWELVE, I shouldn't be looking at this stuff cause I'm underage(but that doesn't stop me and all the other fangirls out there XDDD), and they're all religious. XD Oh geez, imagine the look on my face when I looked at those three and they hadn't the slightest clue what was going on. Really it should've been the other way around XD

That was a very strange moment in my life. I still can't believe they're still oblivious to it even when it was right in front of their faces! Maaaaan, my family is full of idiots D: But I still love them :3

Ah, and to those of you who are confused let me sum it all up: Uncle's friend, my mom, and my aunt saw hardcore yaoi picture. They haven't the slightest clue at what they're looking at(pretty much like if someone looked at a blank piece of paper) Uncle's friend closes window and looks at the pictures downloaded from the camera. I'm all wide eyed and shocked while everyone else doesn't know a thing. It should've been the other way around, ironic isn't it?

Uncle's friend, my aunt, and my mom look at a hardcore yaoi picture. They didn't know anything because it was like a blank piece of paper to them. I get shocked while they have no clue about anything they just saw.

Well I've only been reading it for like a year now and so far I've been able to keep it a secret.
It's almost funny how stealth I am about it in a terrifying sort of way. I have my own computer but my dad is like paranoid I use it to look at porn so he pays me surprise visits throughout the day.
I swear this has given me heightened senses. I listen for sounds now unconsciously and I can recognize his footsteps on the stairs. I can distinguish between his footsteps and my sister's. I always have the DeviantART homepage open and minimized just in case he takes me by surprise (and you have not seen fast reaction time until you've seen me switch pages). I have the settings on my AOL set so my search history erases itself every time I log off.
It must be hilarious to be a third party if someone were to see me react when I'm supposed to be asleep and am still on the internet anyway. My hearing is on overdrive so every little sound puts me on edge and then I hear the first step on the staircase and all in a span of two seconds my monitor is shut off, my chair pushed so it's covering the blinking yellow 'standby' light and I dive into bed all before the door opens and my dad peeks in to make sure I'm sleeping. The best part is, it works. sweatdrop

me: Mom, I wanna buy this manga, but it's 18+ (*she already knew about shounen-ai in general, she's bought most of my shounen-ai manga)
Mom: ...
me: please?
Mom: just buy it with your own money and don't leave it where your sister (*who's 14) can find it

So, uh, Mom doesn't care. She took me to see Brokeback Mountain, for Chrissake. biggrin

My mum found out a couple of months ago. sweatdrop Apparently she went through my manga bookshelf, and flipped through some of my boy love manga... That night she came to me while I was making a salad and she said perfectly serious. "I don't care what you read, as long as it's not porn." Then she just left the room. xd At the time I wasn't expecting a comment like that so at first I was like WTF? and then I just burst out laughing.

when my dad saw me looking at pictures of gravitation,it was one of my favorites,the pic with them in the bath tub,shuichi is holding a rabbit sponge! whee anyway my dad was all"whats that?"and i said it was from gravitation"then he saw the other more"graphic" picture,of them toungeing,he just laughed and"are those two guys?!?" i said yes,and that it was yaoi of corse he didnt know what i meant so i explained,and my dad still knowingly buys me MORE YAOI all the time!i love my dad 4laugh 4laugh 4laugh 4laugh heart heart heart heart heart so excepting!

My dad found out when I asked him to download the Loveless episodes since I wasn't suppose to use the computer during weekdays because of school. It just came one time that he asked, "What's this Loveless about anyway?" I was like, "It's homo." "You mean homosexual?" "Yeah." And he just shrugged it off. Yehey! XD He saw my desktop wallpaper, which is Gravitation, and never really cared one bit!

Don't know what would happen if my mom knew about it. She'd just probably leave as I am, and maybe she'll even buy me yaoi! XD I'll try telling my mom someday if she ever calls. Or maybe when I go there to America...!

thats like a few dinner conversations of my own just mines got more ppl and more yelling
