Austin sat back in the chair as he listened to her. When she mentioned her father left her at a young age he shrugged a bit. "At least you have your mother..." He said then looked around. "Some what..." He said then looked at her. He was surprise she didn't question about what all just happened to her.

She sighed,"She goes to so many work conventions...", only to finally sit up. Groaning she sighed and held her head. "So why was I attacked?", she asked him now.

Austin sighed as he heard her ask about being attack. "Figured you ask why I was here first, but oh well..." He said as he sat forward. "You being attacked is my fault..." He said with a sigh. "You can technically say I'm a wanted man..." He told her.

She listened to him and frowned. "Why are you wanted?", she asked him. Then leaned into the couch some more. Her headache did not make this any easier either. As she tried to keep a clear head.

Austin rubbed the back of his head when she asked way. He then noticed she wasn't feeling so great. "You should rest a bit. It's a long story...at least a long explanation. So you need to rest up." He sold her.

"Fine.", she growled, only to lay down now. But slowly tried to doze off, but did not. "I can't sleep.", she grumbled after a few minutes.

After a while Austin was about to sit back in the chair till he heard Alice say she couldn't sleep. He sighed. "Just try. You were attack, nearly fed on, and raped..." He paused then thought for a moment then face palmed himself. 'I shouldn't have mentioned that...' He thought to himself. He sighed then said. "Either way you should have been tired from that." He said.

Hearing him she looked at him through one eye. "And that'll help.", she growled. But through her opened eye, loneliness shown. Closing her eye she then put her face into the pillow. She could not sleep alone now. It was clear she was not asleep for real, despite when it was an hour later. Scarlet did not bother to come out, since she needed to rest too.

Austin sighed to her response. He then sat back in the chair as he watched Alice bury her face in the pillow. He then thought of something. He closed his eyes and started to hum a melody of a lullaby version of a song he knew. He wasn't perfect at it, though.

Hearing him humming, she finally relaxed and fell asleep. Something later, like two or so in the morning she woke up. It was weird, it was like she had the most peaceful sleep in ages. But her headache barely lingered any more. Sitting up she looked around, seeing the living room lights were dimmed. Making her blink and look around.

As Alice finally fell asleep, Austin quietly got up, dimmed lights, and went back to the cleaning up Princes mess. He soon found the phone of the vampire was messing with before Prince ripped and cut him to pieces. He glared at it then put it in his coat pocket. He then went and cleaned the kitchen. Austin then heard Alice start to wake. "You should rest till morning..." He said

She heard Austin and started to stand up. "Hmm, really? What time is it?", she asked. But she ended up walking to her room upstairs. Which resulted in her pulling her blanket back and knocking her clothes onto to floor. Now she curled into a lazy ball and pulled her blanket back over her.

Austin watched her get up, not bothering to reply knowing she was too tired to reply. Once she headed up stairs he finished cleaning up the kitchen, then headed up stairs as well. He found Alice's room and peeked in to see if she was ok. He saw her in a lazy ball under her blanket. He then headed down stairs and flopped on the couch in a relax position as he stared at the ceiling. 'You know, she won't trust you after I get ahold of her...' Prince said in his head. Austin sighed. "Yeah..." He said disappointed then closed his eye and prince just laughed.

She started to sleep a bit, but yawned one that woke her up a bit more. Now she moved around in the bed a bit and huffed. Okay, so now sleep was a bit out of her reach. Rolling onto her stomach she growled into a pillow. "Damn all...", she said, under her breath. After a while she laid there and kept her face in the pillow.

After a while, Austin fell asleep. His eyes then shot open and they were purple. He then smirked and got up from the couch. He stretched a bit then looked up stairs with a smirk. He then headed up and to Alice's room. He found the door cracked and slowly pushed it open. He could hear toss a bit. He could tell she was still awake. He smirked then quietly walked in. "Still can't sleep." He said softly, acting like he couldn't tell she was awake. He was mocking Austin's voice. He then walked up beside her on the bed. He smirked then softly and seductively started to give her a massage. "This should help..." He said.
