I've been reading "A Seperate Peace" by John Knowles, and I have to say... within the first couple chapters I couldn't shake out the possibility of Gene/Phineas.
It's not my fault though! Gene crying for Finny, Finny saying Gene is his best friend, Gene realizing that Finny needs him...

I don't think I can sit through any sort of movie anymore without slashing it to pieces. >.< I mean, it's like they do it on purpose, having all those slashy undertones that you can only see if you tilt your head and squint. O.o
