Well, he was feeling less guilty now. "But then what would you eat now? My sandwich was gross and I already ate yours..."

"If I get hungry I'll go to the kitchen and get some food. But I need to finish my reports right now."

"Okay, then. Let me know if you need anything," Olan replied before he resumed staring off into space. He was glad Marco seemed to have an answer to every possible problem here. Must be one of the perks to being an officer.

Olan nodded. "Ok I will." He went back to work.

Time passed and Olan was bored. Perhaps he should be glad he didn't need to work, but he was just so bored! Was there anything to do in here?

Marco finished up his reports and looked over at Olan. "Do you want to join me? I'm going to go to the kitchen to get something to eat now."

Olan quickly nodded and got off the couch, ready to follow. He had a feeling that he was bouncing a bit, like a child.

Marco smiled seeing Olan. This was one of the reasons he liked having Olan around. The other could make him smile so easily.

For a moment, Olan wondered if it would be too much to ask for another sandwich. He was still hungry, after all, and perhaps Marco wouldn't mind.

He looked over at him. "Do you want anything to eat?"

It seems Marco had the ability to read minds. Or Olan was just very easy to read. "Please?"

"Of course. What do you want?"  

[BrokenScreamBox]

"Another sandwich, I guess," was his reply. For a moment, Olan paused in his steps. Did he just act like a pet again? A dog, probably?

"Ok."

He made them each a sandwich and handed Olan him.

Olan accepted the sandwich, but didn't take a bite. He was still deep in thought.
