I've heard a lot about how they screw handgunners over.

Dats why the orge lead blechers kick a**. If you get in CC you get a cannon over the head

Doesn't matter when the enemy needs both 3's to hit and wound, plus they have 2 attacks each. 8 Wide front, that's 10 to 11 hits, and at least 6 wounds. 2 Ogres will drop.

How exactly would you use a squig herd? I have read the rules for them and I am still not sure how to use them.

Basically they fight in ranks, and you must have at least 1 Goblin Herder per 3 Squigs. The goblins may be to the side or behind the squigs, though not infront. If you do not meet the goblin-to-squig requirement, the excess Squigs will become lose and bounce around randomly. That just about sums it up.

So I just pretty much have them and just sick them on just about anything?

Also, I believe that if you have 4 or less goblin herders, you won't have to worry about animosity with them(Only affects units with 5 or more animosity suffering models). Plus, when they break, they'll all become loose. So, charge something you know will break them, and watch the enemy try and deal with the mass of hopping squigs.

Not really, though against WE they are good if they reach combat. If they combat Wood Elves with a 6 wide front, they'll on average kill 5 attacks on the charge.

Not really, though against WE they are good if they reach combat. If they combat Wood Elves with a 6 wide front, they'll on average kill 5 attacks on the charge.

They mess up charges, which is pretty much what Brettonian armies rely on.

I always lost whenever i played with my orcks(and by the way thats bin for 2 whole years!!!!!!!!!!)no matter who i played i would loose.
thats why i switched to the lizardmen who are much better

And how are they better? Other then mobility and shooting I mean...

That reminds me, with a Hero, and Magic Banner, you can have a Savage Orc Big 'Un Unit with Two Weapons and a 6 wide front get 6 WS5 S4 attacks, and 21 WS4 S4 attacks. On the charge, what do you think that does to most enemy units?
