[-][L-A][1x1] Without A Pack

Bray circled around as he waited for Rayn to catch up after darting into the forest. Seeing the other he darted off again finally leading the other to what looked like and abandoned cabin in a small clearing. Sitting in the clearing near the cabin he wagged his tail waiting for Rayn to appear.

Rayn laughed softly when he realized Bray was playing with him, if only a little. The running, waiting, and running again was cute no matter how he looked at it. As he entered a clearing, Rayn found Bray sitting outside an old cabin, his tail wagging. The human smiled and kneeled beside the wolf. "Good job" he whispered, petting his head "can you smell anyone or anything inside?"

Bray wagged his tail rapidly as the other knelled before him. Hearing his Alpha tell him he had done a good job and pet him cause happiness to swell in the wolf's chest. At the question Bray shook his head. He didn't scent any humans around it seemed there hadn't been anything but rodents around for awhile.

When Bray shook his head, Rayn slowlygot to his feet and headed for the cabin. "Let's go check it out then" He reached for the door and hesitated, wondering is he should still be cautious or not. He trusted Bray's senses, but he didn't want anyone or anything throwing him off guard. The human started to reach for his gun, but realized he might scare the wolf if he pulled it out so suddenly, so he grabbed a heavy stick with a pointed tip off the ground and opened the door.

Instantly, the smell of mildew and dust filled his nose. Rayn grimmased, shuddering at the thought of how bad the smell must seem to Bray. Still, he pressed on into the house and looked around. It was bade except for a few wooden planks in a corner, obviously an unfinished project from long ago. The thin layer of dust on everything made it clear it hadnt' been used in years, and the cobwebs in every forner of the ceiling only helped.

Bray looked up to Rayn as the other stopped at the door. He watched Rayn reach to his waist line pausing there for a moment before the other picked up a stick. Bray cocked his head curiously unsure what the other was doing.

Walking into the house the smell didn't much bother the wolf because he had lived in worse until he had met Rayn. He could smell more than the mildew and as soon as the other let him into the cabin his nose was to the ground. Bray moved through each and every room, sniffing at everything.

Rayn made his own rounds as Bray sniffed through the cabin. He didn't find too much other than an old rocking chair and shelf. It seemed like the cabin was used by someone a long time ago, but was abandoned and forgotten. Still, despite the dust and mildew, it was fairly tidy. There was plent of room to move around, and there was a small firepit in the center of the room they could use to keep warm. All and all not a bad shelter. Rayn smiled, using a rag he found to brush some of the dust off of the floor so he could sit by the firepit an dstart to gather kindling.

Bray finally finished sniffing around finding some none perishable food and dragging it out to Rayn. He dropped it into the main room padding over to the other. He moved his head under the other's arm and laid his head in Rayn's lap and he lay the rest of himself down.

Rayn had just gotten a fire going when Bray laid in his lap. he smiled, holding his wolf close to him and stroking his soft fur. They may not be 'safe' yet. But at least they would be able to have one calm night alone before they had to run again. "Do you want me to make a bed for us Bray?" he whispered, lost in the wolf's all too familiar emerald eyes.

Bray settled more as Rayn stroked his fur causing a soft pleasure to go through his body. Bray looked confused as Rayn asked if he wanted him to make a bed for them. He turned his head to the side slightly wondering why they would need a bed when they could lay next to the fire.

Rayn just laughed at the wolf's obvious confusion. "I'll take that as a no, then" He gently laid down on the floor so that Bray could cuddle into his chest. The fire was nice, but the wolf's soft fur was infinately more comfortable against his skin.

Bray gave a whine as the other laughed. Bray shifted as Rayn moved and lay down. Bray took advantage immediately and lay down snuggling close to Rayn making sure he was between the man and the fire. Bray licked the others cheek before settling.

Rayn laid there just like that, with Bray in his arms. Everything felt calm when he was like that. Like nothing else mattered but the creature he held close to his heart. he wanted to hold Bray in his human form like that. To kiss and to caress him the way he could only do to a human lover. But he would never ask such a thing. He loved Bray the way he was. A Werewolf. And didnt' want himt o think he needed to change for him. if anything, Rayn was willing to change for Bray so they could be mates.

Bray lay content next to Rayn as the sunset. As the moon rose he felt the call to change because the day before had been the full moon. Closing his eyes he gave into the call to change, his body shifted with only a soft whimper as his spine shifted. He didn't fight the change so it came easier and soon he was laying in Rayn's arm as a human breathing a bit harshly.

Rayn watched as bray's body buzzed and slowly morphed. His bones bending and realigning and the fur sinking back into his body till he was a bare human once more. Rayn instincively held him closer as he felt ragged breathing coming from the other and kissed the back of his neck to soothe him

Bray gave a pained cry as his spine made the final change snapping into place causing the wolf to arch into Rayn. The kiss to the back of his neck soothed the pain a bit knowing that the other was there to help him. "That didn't hurt as much as normal..." Bray stated through some panting. His breathing calming as his body stopped changing.
