The Alpha

[NightWerewolf]

"I won't attack cubs, or mother bears." He shook his head. He looked around and spotted the waitress. "Here she come now." The waitress place the drinks on the table and pulled out a pad. "So, what can I get you?"  

[Devourer of Cupcakes]

"I'll take the bowl of pasta please," Alina said handing the menu to the waitress.  

[NightWerewolf]

"Chicken parmesean." He said and handed the waitress the menu. The waitress nodded and wrote it down before walking off.

Alina waited until the waitress was out of ear shot. "Maybe we could go hunting together some time. I get this itch now if I don't." She was a bit embarrassed.

"Sure, sounds like fun." He said with a smile.  

[Devourer of Cupcakes]

Alina released the breath she was holding. "That was slightly nerve wracking. I've never been hunting with anyone before."  

[NightWerewolf]

Nero chuckled softly. "If it makes any difference, neither have I."  

[Devourer of Cupcakes]

"It just seems to intimate. Running and working together...trusting." She shrugged her shoulders. "That's how I see it."  

[NightWerewolf]

"No offence, but with everything you've been through it makes sense that you wouldn't trust others. I can see why you've gone by yourself."  

[Devourer of Cupcakes]

"Well really I was made to go by myself. It was a form of training. But you are right, I do have a bit of a trust issue." Alina took a drink of her soda.  

[NightWerewolf]

"Ah, well I'm sure us hunting together will be fine." He said with a nod.  

[Devourer of Cupcakes]

"Yes. You are different, I believe we can trust you." Their meal came then and Alina laid her napkin in her lap and picked up her fork.

Nero waited until the waitress was gone before looking back at Alina. "What do you mean we?"  

[Devourer of Cupcakes]

Alina bit her tongue. She forgot the Old Ones didn't want her to say anything. Looking at him she figured she could trust him and if not there were ways of making him stay quiet. "The Alpha talks to me, it's like she is living inside of me," Alina said in a hushed tone.

"I thought you were the Alpha." He said in a whisper.
