You can't write in any shade of blue.
House-elves can only use indigo (or any shade of purple) or default. All Shades of Blue are reserved for Ravenclaws.

This current Sorting, is an Early Sorting.
The requirements are different for a regular Sorting.

As for when we will have our next Lesson, it will be a while.
I just posted this Lesson the other day.
It's going to be up for a least a week.
(I'm not Head-Elf, I was just answering your question.)
