Reda did open the door, "Kara! Oh, come in hun!" she stepped aside. "Riku's just laid down for a nap, I'm just watching some telly."

"Hello Mrs Reda." she inwardly sighed in relief the moment she saw her. Good, it wasn't Riku. "How is he?" she slipped off her leather jacket and placed it over a chair before walking over to the living room. Slightly hesitant now of going anywhere near his room. She had to place this off well, or else his mom might suspect something and demand the whole story out of her. Which wouldn't come out so nice...

"Not very good, but getting better," she replied. "Still very feverish," she sat down on the couch. "You can go sit next to him, tell him whatever you want to say."

Trying to still hold an innocent appearance, she smiles and steps into his room. s**t,s**t,s**t,s**t. What she going to do now? She couldn't bring herself up to tell his mom that something happened between them! She looks at his sleeping form. Oh god..

"I'm going to go get some groceries!" Reda called before leaving the apartment.
Riku stirred a bit, turning towards Kara as he slept.

Muttering under her breath about have the worst of luck she moved over towards his bed. Leaning down until her lips were barely above his. This would be fine enough because he's asleep. He'll never know about this. With that thought, she lightly brushed her lips along his before tucking back a lock of his dark hair behind his ear, away from his handsome face before stepping back, just too look at him for a few more seconds before leaving his room.

Riku's eyebrows furrowed in his sleep, and he stirred a bit more. He didn't wake up.

It wasn't long until she too fell asleep on his couch, with the tv flickering on the news channel. She was too tired and in such a deep sleep that she didn't hear or listen to the part about Dante proposing to Summer. So it was going to be a real problem for the both of them. When her and Riku wake up and hear this the next day.

After Riku woke up in the morning, his mother was in the kitchen. He went into the living room, watching the news for a few moments before the newswoman began smiling and talking about the new engagement between Dante and Summer.

Snuggled under the blankets that Riku's mom had placed over her, she was too deep in a sleep to notice the world around her as she clutched the few pillows that was placed under her head to try and make sleeping the couch more comfortable experience.

Riku accidentally sat on Kara, not realizing she was there. As soon as he felt something that was- er- not his couch, he leaped up with a yelp and turned to look at what he'd sat on.

Feeling something heavy sit on her, she murmured slightly in disapproval. She was already back to slipping into dream land until that loud shout woke her from her sleepy state. She blinked for a few minutes and looked around. Still very sleepy.

"Er-uh-" Riku stared at Kara, then knelt by her. He wondered why she was here, and looked at her to figure it out. Was he dreaming or something? Well- if he was dreaming- he might as well- he leaned in and kissed her softly before pulling away.

Feeling warm familiar lips pressed against her own, she slowly opened her eyes. Riku..was kissing her?

'This must be some weird dream..' she thought to herself as she acted upon on the kiss. Her hands slowly raised to thread through his dark raven hair as she tugged him closed against her, slowly returning the kiss. Feeling the warmth of his kiss cast away any chill she felt earlier on while the scent of his skin against hers sent her senses spiraling. This was one damn good dream. So this was what they meant when they say about life-like dreams.

(sorry for the long wait in posting, break was over and had to go back to college haha)

Riku blinked, but went with it. He pulled her close, holding her tightly against him as he kissed her. His arms were wrapped around her middle, but one hand trailed up through her hair.
