Zack held her close as she shivered. He didn't want her to be cold. Not when he was around.

Maria sighed gently,as she woke up. She snuggled her face against his neck.

"Have a good rest baby?" he asked her as she snuggled against him. He was loving every second of this and wanted to make sure she was as well.

"mhm.." she pulled back to see his face and smiled..She was well rested but the nightmare was still in her head. She tried to erase the memories.

He smiled. Then he kissed her cheek lightly, "Good. Now what shall we do today?" he asked quietly, allowing her to wake up before he spoke full volume.

Maria yawned and rubbed her eyes again and shrugged. "My everyday was usually reading...what is there to do?"  

[Ninja Zackeus]

Then Zack remembered that she hadn't been out of the house alot. "Well, the carnival is in town, there's the amusement park not far from here, there's the ice cream parlor as always, there's a Mr. Ga- a pizza place not too far, and a movie theater only a little ways away," he said, trying not to use names of places, figureing she wouldn't know what Mr. Gatti's was.

Maria looked at him like he was talking gibberish anyway.She tilted her head. "Um...whats a carnival? or pizza or a movie theater?" she asked innocently. She had no idea.

"A carnival is a colorful amusement place that trys to entertain you," he explained. "A pizza is bread, tomato sauce, and cheese, sometimes including other toppings, like pepperoni, sausage, pineapple, or anchovies....fish heads," he said. "And a movie theater is a place where they show a movie on a large screen. A movie is like an act or play with better sets, props, and not live," he said. Zack kinda liked that he had to explain everything to her. It was nieve cuteness. He loved it.

Maria rested her head on his chest while she thought. She'd seen things in the books she had read. She was actually thinking hard. "What do you wanna do?"

Zack smiled to her. "I'm fine with whatever. Since you haven't been on any of them, it'll be interesting anyhere we go," he said, happily.

Maria chuckled. "I cant choose...its hard" she chuckled again. She thought about it again. "How about the carnival thingy.."

Zack chuckled back. "That works. Just throw on your jacket and we'll leave," he said smiling.

Maria looked at him with a soft chuckle. "You forget..I don't have one. Being locked doesn't give you much of a wardrobe..."

Zack smiled at her, "Then we must go get you one, before going to the carnival," he said lightly and happily. He kissed her gently and then hopped up, offering his hand to help her up.
