Danny exited the stairway and looked at the doors to the elevator shaft. He saw smoke coming out of the doors. "Damn it!" He yelled and tried to wrench them apart. They moved slowly but he was struggling. He grabbed a fire extinguisher and jammed it in the door.

She heard banging,then the screach of somthing ontop of the elevator. She closed her eyes.She started to black out when she felt somthing pushing on her chest.When she opened her eyes her eyes widened. "k-kasper?" she whispered.
He hissed.

He looked down and saw the elevator about half a story below. "Here goes nothing" He said to himself and jumped down. He hit the elevator hard, causing even more tension on the wire. He saw the already opened escape hatch and jumped inside. Through the smoke he saw Kasper on top of Amanda. "Amanda! Get up! We have to go!" He yelled.

She coughed. unconciousness was taking over her. When she heard Danny he sounded distant...
Kasper placed his paw over her heart. WHen Danny made his attempt to save her he looked up and hissed "FOOL! you cannot save the pathetic human!"

"This coming from a friggen cat." He laughed and picked her up, leaving Kasper on the floor. He managed to climb back through the roof of the elevator with her and grabbed onto the wire. Just under him the wire was close to snapping. He kicked it and the elevator fell below him.

Amanda remained drained and almost lifless in Dannys arms. As the elevator went down the screeching noises and sparks flared.
"You forget who your dealing with Danny.." he hissed,his fangs glistened as he stood in the elevator doorway of the floor above them.

Danny looked up and struggled to climb up the wire. "Crap." He said simply as he saw the cat.

The cat luaghed and walked off. Soon firemen and others came to the rescue.

Danny sat on the steps of the building after being pulled out of the elevator shaft, ignoring the questions if he was alright and such.

Amanda was on an oxygen mask sitting up in an ambulance. She ignored the questions. She just refused the hospital.

she took another breath of oxygen.She pulled it away shaking. "Just a little shakey.."

"I cant remember alot.." she rubbed her temples. "Theres was snapping wire..smoke.."her eyes widened.
