"I don't know..." Kay whispers, leaning forward a bit, putting her mouth right next to his ear. "Maybe it was because that tree was probably going to squish me if you hadn't saved me. It was graditude..."
Veemon rolls his eyes and says, "Three wordsh... sheperate, rooming, conditions." He finished it off with a little jokers' smile.
Kay just weakly turns her head towards Veemon and says, "Oh shut up..."

"Yeah, I'm not stupid." Tsurugi said, his face red from kay being so close. "We're going to get a two bed hotel room, and that'll work. I want to make sure that Kay doesn't get any worse." he said as he walked into the town and found an inn. "I need a room with two beds please."
"Yes, we have a room, follow me." the inn manager said as he led us up to the room and let us in. "Thank you!" Tsurugi said before walking in and letting Kay on one of the beds. "Okay Kay, what can we do to help you feel better?"

"Make Veemon get me a cold washcloth, please. My forehead feels like it's on fire." Kaytlyn says with her eyes closed. She's extremely tired and is grateful for a soft bed for tonight. Then Kay says, "And tell him I'd like to email Oneechan."
Veemon, just now walking in the door, says to Tsurugi, "So, how'sh she going to be, doc?"

"Well, nurse, she needs a washcloth with cold water on it. And Teppou, please get out the ingrediants for soup. I'll get Kay's laptop and let her talk to her sister." Tsurugi said as Teppou started pulling out vegetables and cooking utensils. He grabbed Kay's laptop and brought it to her with a grin. "Here you go, your Royal Highness."

Kay smiles slightly and props herself up in pillows so she can see the laptop screen properly. Then, she types in a few things... A bit more... She emails this:
"Sora,
Something's come up, and I probably wont be home for a bit. Tell mom and dad that I'm fine. Veemon sends his regards. See, I'm in the Digital World with Veemon and someone I met, named Tsurugi. So don't worry about me if I don't come back for a while, and I'll keep in touch.
Your sis,
Kay"
Kaytlyn closes the laptop and takes the cold washcloth from Veemon to first cool off the back of her neck, and then set it on her forehead. She lays back down and smiles again. "Thanks for taking care of me..." She says to Tsurugi.

Tsurugi grinned widely, then walked over to Kay. "No problem." He pat her head, then walked over to Teppou and started making soup. "You hungry? My soup will make you feel a lot better."

"I'm a little hungry." Kay says, which is followed by a loud grumble coming from both her and Veemon's stomach.
Veemon walks over to Tsurugi and Teppou and asks, "Need any help? I've been told I can be good help in the kitchen."
"Don't listen to him." Kay says, grinning slightly, "He always says that, and then nearly poisons someone."
Veemon sticks his tongue out at Kay, and gets the action right back when Kay sticks her tognue back out. Then, remembering her hair was teal, Kay changed it to a very light blonde for "darker colors holding in heat" sake.

Tsurugi cooked amazing, cooking ingrediants and adding the perfect spices to it. Teppou hopped in Kay's lap and laid down, humming softly. "Teppou, you lazy bum." Tsurugi said with a lap as he finished cooking, and poured four bowls of soup out. He handed a bowl to Kay, to Teppou, and to Veemon, then kept the last bowl for himself. "Enjoy!" Tsurugi smiled, handing everyone spoons.

Kay laughs softly and takes the bowl and spoon, saying, "Thank you."
One bite of the soup, and Kay says, "Wow, Tsurugi, this is amazing! With this, I know I'll be better in no time."
Veemon does a mocking impression of Kay, which sounds pretty funny with his lisp. He then takes a bite of soup and says, "Wow! That'sh better than Sora'sh!"
Kay shoots Veemon a small glare, but then shrugs and continues eating.

"Well, I'm going to head to the baths real quick...I need to clean off. Teppou, you have to stay because you're a girl, and girls aren't aloud in the boy's bath. You can stay with Kay and Veemon." Tsurugi said as he grabbed one of the towels and walked to the door. "Well, see you in ten minutes or so." Teppou grinned evilly, then whispered to Veemon, "I have an idea. I need you to go and find out if Tsurugi has a crush on Kay. You're a guy, so he'll feel more relaxed. He also knows that I'm a blabbermouth, so he won't say. I'll try and pry a confession out of Kay."

"Gotcha..."Veemon whispers back. Then he follows behind Tsurugi and says, "I hope you don't mind me tagging along."
Kay just nods and waves goodbye to the two. She's sitting up now and feels a little better now that she has something in her stomach.

Tsurugi walked with Veemon down to the baths. "So why did you tag along with me? It's not that I'm suspicious, because I would be normally if Teppou tagged along, but it's nice to have some company."
Teppou:"So, Kay, now that it's just us girls, I'm dying to know...Do you like Tsurugi?" The little Terriermon smiled sweetly as she took the dishes and put them by the sink, then walked over to the bed and tried to jump up, but couldn't make it. "Kay, can you help?"

"Sure, I'll help." Kay says, while standing up slowly. Her legs are a little wobbly, but she's able to walk and help Teppou. "And why do you want to know if I like Tsurugi?" But Kay makes a little mistake when she asks. Since she can't really blush, her hair turns a bright shade of pink. Kay doesn't notice, but anyone else could...
Veemon: "I thought you might like company, since Teppou can't come." Veemon says, walking alongside Tsurugi. "My tamer... I really don't get why she had to get a fever now of all times... She can be such a baka sometimes... I thought it'd be cooler to hang with you than little miss sickie up there."

Kraven head was swimming as Kaya broke the kiss. He looked down at her as she locked eyes with him and kissed again before leaving. Kraven , for the first time in his entire existence, actually felt love for another human being. He slid his hand into his pockets and went to turn away from her when Sakuyamon Turned to Him and Said The Three most piercing words he had ever heard,"I- Love-You". His eyes went wide and he was about to answer her but alas, she had already left him. He was in a slight awe of what she just said to him. After a few minutes of silent meditation on what had just been said her turn over his shoulder and motioned to Guardromon to come. And With that they both walked out of the house.
It was a Silent walk For Kraven, Especially Since Love Had Just Pierced his soul for the first time. After some more walking he finally spoke,"You know we have to save her now more than ever right?" says Kraven in a serious but low tone.
"Sir I realized This a While ago, But its good You finally figured it out for yourself." says Guardromon.
"Smart a**........." says Kraven in response

Tsurugi sighed. "I feel bad for Kay, though. I'm not sure why she's so sick, but she'll be better. No worries there. And thank you for the company." he smiled and patted Veemon on the head.
Teppou: Teppou smirked. "Loving the pink hair, Kay. It's sweet. I know that you do like him, and you want to kiss him...And I meant get on the bed. You're too sick to be out of bed, so get back in bed right now!" Teppou said as she walked over to the bed again, waiting for Kay.
