I was thinking about this topic and thought of some shows.
Alf - Animated Adventures Galaxy High Fantastic Max Rocky and Bullwinkle Where on Earth is Carmen SanDiego - (with Zack & Ivy and a chief that looks like Egon from the Real Ghostbusters) Ghostbusters (the one with Tracy the ape) Foofur Heathcliff
I don't remember the title, it has several kids saving the dream world.

I would have to agree with you on this topic. Some of the cartoons my 13year old watches are pretty gross. But one that she watches (pooka) I absolutly love. It comes on cartoon network.
when I was a kid my favorit show was the Muppet show MISS PIGGY was and still is my favorit character. I was a big Rainbow Brite , She-Ra, Transformers, TMNT, and Strawberry Shorcake. I loved the Carebears too.

I miss the days when cartoons were so well drawn that they were like actual art. Sure the continuity wasn't always right but it was hand drawn so you never expected perfection. Nowadays, even with all the technology, it's sad that cartoon art has actually gotten worse. I miss the good stuff like Jem and the old X-Men cartoons.
And I don't know if anyone else watched this, but who loved the Paw Paws?

Those were kick-a**, and told the comic story line pretty damn well, with only a few things changed. *sigh* OH!! Anyone remember Sam and Max, Freelance Police? That show was actually cancelled because it was costing Fox too much to keep purchasing episodes. And it was so well drawn too, especially the backgrounds.

I can't remember the name of this one cartoon that had these Beverly Hills type characters and I used to get these 2 blondes confused. One was a city girl and one was sort of this country looking girl. Then there was one girl that had black hair. God I can't remember. ><

Hikage Akurei Who remembers the original Mega-Man series. The Ruby-Spears stuff? They turned rush into a a robo-scooby doo, and aged Rock and Roll by what, a decade? What were they, 16, 18 in the show or something? Turning Blues/Protoman into a bad guy... what were they thinking? Remember the X episode, when he acted so out-of-character it wasn't funny?

I used to watch Looney Tunes every day! Now that was the stuff. Back when the big animation powerhouses were Looney Tunes and Hanna Barberra. I loved the Jetsons, the Flintstones, Underdog, Hong Kong Phooey, The Snorks, Scooby Doo, Yogi Bear. Ahh, those were cartoons.

Takarada Kaoru Crystalwolf78 well you guys have mentioned pretty much all my faves there was one i cant remember the name it had biker mice from mars. I found out after buying the 1st box set that came out for DVD for Voltron that the guy who piolited the blue lion actually died not put in a hospital for a long time the americas wanted to make it less death for the kiddys and so when he so called "came back" was in fact his brother that looked exactly like him. The lack of fear when it comes to killing off a main character (or anybody at all) is one good reason why I love Japanese children's shows. Yay Hyakujuu-oh Golion! Shame on you, Voltron! And they told us Sven was ok too! The liars! Loved TMNT, Transformers, Peter Pan and the Pirates, Captain Bucky O' hare, Biker Mice from Mars, Tailspin, old X-men, Spiderman, Samurai Pizza Cats among others. What I really miss most of all is the warmth of handcrafted cel animation. sad
