Kind of random and easy to answer I'm sure, but I can not for the life of me remember. D:
So Matsu was the first character I levelled up to 100, and his weapon level to 20. His Bayonet anyway. Then I try to switch him to Broadsword and he says, "You won't see me using a Broadsword ever again."
Okay, I understand that.
But why? I totally don't remember him giving that up. It was mentioned earlier in the game, too. It's bothering me and I'm not replaying GU1 until I get and finish GU3.
Soo anyone who remembers... please tell me. <3

 Wasn't it because he used broadswords back when he was a PK and he gave that up?

But I, and most others got the impression that he just wasn't going to use his signature PK weapon, "Flame Sword" anymore, not give up the broadsword style altogether. In any case, its impossible to make him equip broadswords, sorry.

Ooh, right, I forgot about that PK thing. p: Makes sense, since he gave the sword to Haseo and all. Maybe I should just replay GU1 at this point, but then I would want to replay GU2 and it wouldn't be enough time to get all of the items before GU3. D:
