okay kuhn was Seig in the originals, and mai broke up with him a while after his coma...anyone know how long he was in the coma for?

It didn't seem like it took a long time for him to be revived and stuff.

I was suprised when I found out Sieg is Kuhn. But, I'm not exactly sure how long he was in a coma. I do remember that from either vol 2-vol 3 talked about Christmas Eve. I don't know if that helps or not, but I think it was a few months.

My best guess is a few months. It was never stated when he officially fell into the coma. But it is safely assumed he was not there for a year.
Mai was done recovering, but still not well enough for people to question if she was still in the recovery stage. This suggests it may have only been a few weeks since Sieg was comatose.
It states that the location they are in is Kanazawa. It rains an aweful lot there during the months of November-January (the autumn winter months). The rainy season officially starts, however, between June and July. The trees have no leaves on them (when Mai first appears), suggesting winter or fall.
The time this is taking place is 2010.
Taking all of these into effect, I would suggest the timeline when Sieg fell into a coma would be September 2010. He reportedly woke up on December 24, 2010. This would put the time of a coma between
Rainy Season: 6 months
My Predicted Time: 4 months
Highest-Rain Months: 1 month

and based on the actual series than on Wikipedia.
