Age rating: Teenagers (May contain bloody violence, bad language, nudity)
Genres: Drama, Romance, Shoujo

Plot Summary: After the break up of their old band, guitarist Yuki & drummer Santa decide to form a new one. They recruit bass player Towa, young guitarist Atsuro, and after much persuasion, vocalist Sakuya. Together they form Lucifer and they struggle to make it in the music business, and also to stay together. As well, they have to deal with personal issues, such as parental objections, and watching their old bands succeed ahead of them. Sakuya is the most troubled band member, as he has to deal with his tragic past, and his relationship with teenaged lyricist Aine.

All of the songs in the anime are sung by the band Aucifer
The manga to this series is titled "Sensual Phrase"

In my opinion, this is a very slow paced anime. The songs are repetitive, but they're the type that you wouldn't mind listening to over and over again. I fell in love with the songs and this series even made me a big fan of the band.

One of the reasons I love this anime so much is because of the characters. They all have different personalities and different obstacles that they must face. They're really easy to get into though.

The manga on the other hand, I didn't think too much of it. While the art isn't the greatest or the worst, the story is quite different. The manga picks up in the middle of the series when they first meet Aine. However, the manga is much more perverted and seems to be nearly constantly be talking about sex. I've only ever read the first two volumes though, so I can't say much more about it. I've heard that the characters are more in depth in the manga, which is the only reason I'm going to continue reading it.

So, anyone else like this series?

I've just started watching this anime, but I have to admit I'm slightly intrigued.

I saw the anime a long time ago. I never got to finish it and for a while, I thought the fansubbers had given up on the series. I guess someone's fansubbing it now? I don't remember hearing that the rights had been bought. Anyway, I loved what I saw of it. I don't mind the repeating songs. I figure that the animators aren't going to do a whole album for an anime. Not even Gravi got that. ^^

C no Binetsu is my favorite song. I did love Sakuya's voice and his cute little belly shirt. XD Unfortunately, I can’t remember anyone else’s name lol. Been that long.

I bought the manga but I haven't gotten around to reading it. I don't like what I've seen of the art but I'll be a trooper and read it anyway. I fear that the pr0n will be ugly though, lol.
