[The Horologist]

Plot

Like most Stories of Heaven and earth, this one began thousands of years ago.
It takes place in the Eastern kingdom of Heaven, Ilium.

In his solitude, God only allows the audience of four Angels. The Angel of Justice, the Angel of Worldly Investigation, the Angel of Souls, the Angel of Knowledge, and the Arch Angel who looks over the Heavenly Coat of Arms.
Recently and incident has occurred. In a close sector to the Eastern block, a building was destroyed; the remains smelling highly of the work of a demon. The eastern block went quickly into an uproar and was put into immediate lockdown by the Angel of the HCA. God has summoned the Angel of Worldly Investigation--a very rare occurrence; and most people believe it was him that caused the destruction seeing as he once was a devil himself.
To the people’s discord he was not put to trial, but immediately after the audience with God he summoned the four other Angels to a meeting in the Grand Hall.

The story begins with each Angel receiving their letters.

Short Bio: Vincent was the young one in the group, although he was the angel of souls. He was drafted an angel 2 years ago at his death. At the start of his ahem, angelhood, he had his youth restored to him, and was appointed his own high position.
Personality: He is rather generous, although when it comes to his job he will have what he wants when he wants it, where he wants it, and that is that

Short Bio: Alena, even if she does not seem like it, is the angel of Justice. She rights wrongs wherever and whenever she can. She does doubt Orion, but always gives him doubt and does not care what the other angel's say.
Personality: Quiet, calm, collected, nice, sweet, and gentle.

Appearance: Akriel
Short Bio: An Angel elder, he spent his early years archiving the entire knowledge of Ilium. The book he carries is capable of displaying any information at any given time. When held by anyone but Akriel it appears to be a blank sketchbook. The book is clear and therefore Akriel rarely needs to explain anything. And to be honest he'd just make it sound more complicated. He knows all there is to know about Ilium.
Personality: Quiet, solomn looking, withdrawn, prefers to be alone if possible.

[The Horologist]

Walking down the crowded street Orion made it a point to keep his head down. After recent events he wanted nothing more than to be a shadow; for no one to notice him lest they begin raising the current suspicions of his loyalty.
Turning the corner the tall Main Hall of Ilium faced him, and he made his way swiftly down the street and up the stairs wondering if any of his inquiry had gotten there early.

Vincent turned his head to face the Main Hall of Illuim and took a big breath in then sighed. His eyes seemed to be fixed on a certain spot. His body moved beneath his head, which didn't move at all. He moved towards that spot. He noticed the man in front of him, and his pace started to quicken. Where was everyone else. His head turned to the left, and his shoulder shrugged. There was no one behind him. A sigh of relief came from his mouth, and he continued forward.

Orion waved at the clerk who gave him a surprisingly; or perhaps not surprising at all, quite a dirty look. He tried to ignore it and continued down the bright alabaster stone hallway and into the tall conference room. He stood at the head of the table rather awkwardly and allowed himself a rather loud yawn.
He stood erect and tried to ready himself for the introduction to the rest of his colleagues.

Vincent walked into the conference room. He was properly dressed for the occasion, and he knew what he was in for. He was the youngest and most likely least knowing one that would ever step foot inside this room, be he was requested for this, and a request coming from a person who requested him just cant be refused.

Orion looked up watching the boy enter with low eyes.
He opened his mouth slightly but decided to just give him a gentile nodd as a greeting.

Vincent gave the other man a warm smile then looked to the door. He was waiting for people to poor in the door, but no one was coming. Vincent sighed again. It was gonna be a long wait.

Orion cleared his throat uncomfortably. "Thank you for being so punctual. You're our newest member, are you not?"
