I've noticed that Matsu only has the ability to weild either a heavyblade or a steam gun. Meanwhile, Haseo is able to wield twin blades, a heavyblade, or a scythe. Therefore, there must be different kinds of Adept Rogues available.

i dont think so i think matsu just chosses to use heavyblade and a gun for his own reasons

Adept Rogues have the ability to use different weapons accourding to the other classes they chose for subclasses.
The type of weapons that one can use are chosen by a point system. x:

In a technical perspective there are different types of Adept Rogues, but in actuallity it's mainly like that because of a point system.

For those who haven't played Vol 2. yet, you may want to skip my post.
Anyway, what sucks about getting Matsu as a party memeber is that he'll only use steam guns, he refuses to use broadswords, hell, the game even tells you this when you try to give one to him.

Yes the point system exists, but by volume 3 Haseo gets to use another weapon, and it makes me think why Haseo has gone past the 4 points with no problem.

Man, I thought he was just going to give up the Flame Sword, not the entire damn weapon style. Ironically enough, I gave it back to him once I got him, even though he won't use it.
