have any ideas? post them>

ok,

it starts with the borg on a planet.
they were looking for something.
they found it.
then the enterprise finds them.
picard attacks borg
borg attampt to activate the thing they found.
thing is damaged by federation/borg battle
thing activates anyway and explodes into a ball type bubble thing
the enterprise and a borg cube are sucked into the blue ball
they are transported to far far away and back long ago into the past.
they encounter......
Jedi Master luke Skywalker..... and the new republic
borg cause chaos.....
trek vs. wars clash
han solo finds the blue ball and is sucked into the future with lando and chewbacka aswell as a few star destroyers...
chaos again.....
the blue bubble balls close behind them all, trapping them.
they fight more
they stop fighting...
find a way home...
all is peaceful again.

i was also thinking of adding an extra alien species into the fray.... like i dont know.... the aliens... and maybe some predators?

eek Wow...Trek, Wars, and Stargate all rolled into one...sweet whee

And I never realized teh Borg Twist. I have a friend that bugs alot because apparently Star Wars is far superior to Star Trek. Because they can get from one side of the Galaxy to another, a few Days, no Problems. The Federation takes a good Century or so...But the Borg...Three Months. And what comparison do the Jedi have against teh Q?

Is there any comparison that Star Wars has against Species 8472? Didn't think so. biggrin

I have a friend who's writing a Trek/Wars novel. From what he's told me, it is Teh Spiff.

I'm not a Star Wars person, so I'm not really a good judge of that kind of stuff...

Hey, it took voyager only 7 years.

In Dune they make the same trip in only a few minutes.

In the first Episode, Kim announced that it would take exactly 72 years for them to get back to the Alpha Quadrant. But thanks to Kes, a few Advancements in Technology, and a nicely placed Wormhole...they got back pretty quickly.

here's a acurate size comparison of an X wing and the Delta Flyer and remember that the delta flyer is JUST a shuttle not a combat ship like the X wing

Well,
comparing the ships is often "apples and oranges".

In the case of Star Wars,
so many more episodes and movies were made of Star Trek
that you'd really need to use the novels for Star Wars to make
some of the comparisons.

It was in the late seasons of DS9 that it occurred to the ST writers
(finally) that they lacked fighter-craft.
So, the New Republic/Rebel Alliance and the Empire have it all over
the Star Trek universe in terms of fighter-craft.
SW has dozens of ships-half the alphabet has been used in "wing"
fighters alone.
The movies showed Y,X, A and B.
The books added E and K. (Heavy fighter, fighter-bomber)
TIEs have been released in a variety of classes also-
the fighter, interceptor, bomber, and advanced (Darth Vader's ship.)
The books showed variations including the "clutch" and the
Defender (expensive top-of-the-line fighter with everything).

I'm not going to get into ALL the fighter classes the books add.

Star Trek only had the Saber-class fighters.

====
ST has it over SW in terms of non-military midsize transports.
Between shuttles, runabouts and various flyers,
including the first movie's Vulcan Shuttle.

SW has the stock light freighter, the most famous of which is the
Millenium Falcon.

Now, if you want to compare Capital ships of the line, now, THERE
you can really get going.
More recent ST classes, like the Steamrunner and Akira class,
could exchange fire for extended fights with Imperial Star Destroyers
and Mon Cal Star Cruisers. The Defiant class would be a tough
fighter in such a battle, due to its small size and heavy punch.

===
ST also has a lot of ships that don't operate with military functions.
The Oberth and Nova classes are science vessels, for example.
Even the Corellian Corvettes of SW seem to be used in military
engagements.
(The blockade runner Princess Leia was aboard at the very beginning
of Star Wars was a Corellian Corvette.)
