Okay, so I download a program called "Schism Tracker" recently and need advice on how to use it.
For those of you who don't kno what it is, it's a program that lets you list notes in a certain order to form a song. It also allows several channels and instruments. So basically you can program songs like nintendoish 8-bit music and I've seen some really good quality techno stuff made from it too.
My problem is that I cannot figure out how people load samples and instruments. What format do I need? Where do I load it and how?

i pretty much gave up on it. i tried some other tracker programs that dont run off of dos but i guess i need something really idiot proof.
