Im new here to gaia and I would like to buy some extra assesories like a straw hat and some cool looking pants. Just small donations would be fine. thanks for just reading to my question. biggrin

I'm not giving away gold, but the education I'm about to put out here is gratis.... (take THAT college learning!)
if you want gold, there are a slew of ways to earn it. you can play games, participate in the forums, vote in the arenas, or play the gambling games and sell the resulting tickets.
now, if you need to amass a larger amount of gold for something special, then that's another story... start a quest thread, or people will just laugh at you or ignore you.
I can't speak for everybody, but there are a lot of people on gaia looking for handouts, but not many people just giving them out.
